We were having my birthday dinner with friends. There were four of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and our waitress (cute with little ponytails on sides of her head) was delightful and so helpful. wish I could remember her name.
I would tell you to get your roof fixed. We had to move our table because water was dripping on my husband's head. Sort of hilarious at a fine dining restaurant. But all was good once the table was out of the way of the drip.
We are pretty easy going, but some folks might get offended with the drip at a fine dining establishment. Just saying ....
Great food selection, love the Ambiance! Loved the Live music , Spanish guitar! I have been there at least four times in the last two months. I recommend your restaurant to everyone! Thank you!
We ate at Dinner for Two on Valentine's evening and had an enjoyable dinner, albeit somewhat disappointed that the restaurant only offered a rather pricey fixed menu that included a somewhat limited choice of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. I guess that I should have anticipated this, but was disappointed not to have been able to order from a more extensive menu that would have offered greater choices without having to pay for desserts that we generally do not eat. The food was well prepared and very good. I will return to this restaurant on evenings where I can order from the menu rather than a fixed holiday menu.
We love this place. The staff are very friendly and wanting to make sure your dinning experience is a great one. And the food is awesome.
Two thumbs up! Dinner is always above average at Dinner For Two. The dining is mostly quiet, with lights on the dimmer side, it can be romantic if that is the occasion. Highly recommended by all I know whom have been there. The wine list is a little pricey though. Enjoy!
Excellent food, first rate. Our waiter didn't seem to be as attentive as the others and we waited with no greeting upon entering. But definitely worth the trip. Yum!
I saw this restaurant on line and was excited about the menus and so made a reservation. When I arrived however they only had a three course dinner option since it was valantines day. Of course none of the things I wanted to try were on the menu. So the chateaubriand and bananas foster was not going to happen. The food they had however was very good so I was not to disappointed.
Great food, except for the cherry jubilee flambé experience! The dessert was amazing except the exploding fire going on all of the time was VERY DANGEROUS in such a small space and unnerving!
Excellent ambiance and wonderful food. Great coconut shrimp, fantastic glaze on the Filet and fun cherries flambé . Wine was a bit pricy, but overall good value.
The food was excellent from lobster bisque soup to steak, salmon and margarita’s!
Had the Sunday dinner. Both of us had beef (with a little up charge) that was perfectly done. Be sure to try the Key Lime Pie!
We found the Sunday special meals to be priced very well though the total experience was rather bland. The crab stuffed trout was flavorless served without a much needed sauce. The strip steak was tasty but all the sides were served cool to the touch. However the table side Caesar salad dressing was outstanding, too bad the lettuce was pedestrian and slightly brown. Dessert We chose the cherry pie and the apple pie. The dough was not good and tasted slightly bitter like the flour was stale. We would like like to try the regular menu and the Chateaubriand. Perhaps it will be a better experience.
Wonderful....can't wait to go back....must have the mushroom soup again... hidden gem in Santa Fe....
This is one of our favorite places to eat in Santa Fe & we were not disappointed. We shared the Lobster Bisque and it was very good. We then ordered Chateaubriand for Two & the flavors were excellent especially accompanied with a bottle of wine. For dessert we share the Banana's Foster & it was delightful as well. We were not rushed through our meal and enjoyed sharing a special night in Santa Fe. Our waitress was attentive & very professional.
Had both the Caesar Salad and Chateaubriand made tableside. Young man did a good job making both. Waitress was quite a bit slow, but she also had a number of tables. Still, she could have been a little quicker, especially delivering the bill. Ordered a particular $30 bottle of wine that we like, but they were out of stock. Waitress offered a $45 (of course!) bottle instead. Gilbert on guitar is always enjoyable for background music. Wish more patrons listened more than talked.
