We are extremely proud & excited to announce the opening of our second location and future sister restaurant, Baia Coastal Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar! ‘Baia,’ meaning bay in Italian, will be located right on the water in Chesapeake Beach with beautiful unobstructed views of the bay. This new concept will be focusing on fresh seafood, house made pasta, and an extensive Italian wine program featuring a sophisticated, elegant atmosphere.

My boyfriend, Don Fry, and I had the pleasure of dining at your most amazing restaurant as a preview for taking a dear friend to dinner at an authentic Italian cuisine! DYNOMITE AND DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our server was Seth, and we were also treated with care and smiles from other servers and staff.... especially MARY!!! ALL was great and I want RECIPES!! lol. We both had the steak and - in a word - SUIPERB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The potatoes?? SO COOL!! He even ate the zucchini <---- miracle! This is frankly the first time we didn't leave a dining experience wit8h a dogie bag. We shall return... SOON. Thanks again to ALL~ Karen Becker & Don Fry.

Delicious as always, although red wines by the glass did not seen to appeal to our dining companion. Engaging waitstaff, quality food and preparation and presentation first class.

The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

Ate outside on the patio to the sound of birds and rushing water by the fishpond. Service was quick and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious!!! The scallop and trout entrees were out of this world fabulous. Ian, our server, was wonderful. A grand dining experience if there ever was one!

We had a fabulous lunch at the Tasting Room for our daughter's birthday! The wine was excellent and the food was fantastic as always. The boys had steak salads, our daughter had the lamb burger, and I had the scallops. All amazing. We topped it off with yummy deserts, the best of which was the semifreddo with coconut, a peach and caramel - best dessert ever. Our waiter made sure our daughter's candles were in the dessert and wished her a happy birthday! We topped it off with cappuccinos and dark martinis! The Tasting Room is so solid in service, ambience, wine, food, cocktails, and desserts. A must if you are in downtown Frederick!
