We regularly dine at the farmhouse and at Maison. We love the location and overall ambiance. The staff are very attentive with a lot of attention to detail. The food is very balanced and with good menu options. Overall a great night out and experience. My friends smoke shisha and they have always commented on the quality of this. Well done team Farm house and a big thank you to the Scotsman Sohail for looking after us a credit to the team.

Solanche, Richard, and the team at The Royal Oak are proud to offer Michelin-starred dining at our village pub, between Shipston on Stour and Stratford upon Avon, on the edge of the Cotswolds. Since 2019, we’ve been dedicated to exceptional food in a community-focused setting.

Alongside our Michelin-starred dining room, we have a relaxed bar with a pool table and darts, creating a space for everyone. Our menu celebrates terroir-driven, ‘proper country food,’ focusing on wild, seasonal ingredients. Our aim is simple: to tell the story of our community and the local producers we work with.

The menu changes with the seasons, with some dishes lasting six weeks to highlight the peak of their season, while others may be available for just a week or even a single service—a fleeting, micro-seasonal snapshot. Very impressive food, probably the best duck we have ever eaten. Everything was just delicious. We enjoyed our wine selection too. Highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dining experience

Incredible service, awesome food (we went for the tasting menu which was pretty good value at £65 per person and very filling) and the atmosphere/ambience superb. Will definitely return 🤩🤩

Great food with friendly attentive staff. Unfortunately the green Thai curry was way too salty but staff dealt with this efficiently and took care of the desserts. Even asked if my girlfriend wanted to keep her food warm while waiting for my replacement.

Very nice welcome from staff. Very good menu choices. Really enjoyed my G&T while I waited for my dinner. The crumbed cod was amazing, so tasty. Portion size was spot on. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the pork belly meal. Highly recommend this restaurant. It was a hot evening but it felt light & airy at our table. Nice atmosphere with other diners enjoying their meals. Very friendly and waiter/owner. We would definitely visit for dinner again if visiting Stratford

Under the guidance of chef-director Adam Bennett, we have held a Michelin star for over nine years and are proud to boast three AA Rosettes. We received a Good Food Award Gold Seal in 2021.

The Cross is housed in a Grade II listed 19th-century inn and has been sympathetically restored to retain its heritage alongside contemporary touches that make it a fabulous place to enjoy great food, a casual atmosphere and informal but attentive service.
