Enjoy a seasonally changing, from scratch menu, featuring both classic and modern pastas; hand cut steaks from USDA Certified Premium Hereford Heritage 1881 Beef; New Zealand Lamb Chops; USDA Certified Prime Veal; and the freshest seafood available, flown in from around the world throughout the week. In addition, Quality Foods Market offers a curated wine list with selections from all over the world, and an unrivaled craft and imported beer selection. Executive Chef Christopher Houp takes the time to interact with each and every guest throughout the dining experience, taking the Chef's Table concept to a whole new level. Tables are limited, with just 16 seats inside, and an additional 16 seats for al fresco dining. Our guests are treated to a true Italian dining experience, as we allow a minimum of three hours between reservations.

There are only 4 tables in this restaurant. Service was excellent and the food choices divine. It felt like a neighborhood deli surrounded by bottles and bottles of wine to choose from. The chef personally visits all the tables and he makes everything from scratch after you’ve made your order. It’s a 3 hour experience and I intend to come back whenever I can.

For 20years, Chef Victor Wang and Owner Chiara Covelli have reigned over their highly acclaimed restaurant… Zen Forrest… known for its Chinese, Korean, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Singapore. Award winning lunches and Dinner. Private events, cooking classes. Zen Forrest was known for amazing food, sake, wine and imported and local beers.
When the lease came up at Zen Forrest and they couldn't stay Chiara thought it might be the end of Zen Forrest in New Port Richey. As good things do happen, with the assistance of the new partner, Jay Patel, he found the perfect location on Grand Boulevard in downtown New Port Richey. It is a larger restaurant accommodating over 150 guests, with a Sushi Bar and a sociable, full liquor cocktail bar.

Chef Victor and partners are pleased to share their excitement with loyal Zen Forrest customers and friends and they look forward to hosting you to a new ZEN Kitchen & Bar experience.

Fantastic, friendly staff. Restaurant has a fun vibe with delicious food and drinks (one of the best old fashions ever). Menu is marked for vegan, gluten free and containing nuts. Highly recommend!

this is the first time I’ve dined here. The restaurant was not crowded at noon on a Wednesday. The server was fabulous, with a deep knowledge of Russian food. I had Salmon Blinchiki and Borscht. My partner had Vinegret Salad. For dessert, shared Ponchiki donuts. The salmon chickie was salmon rolled into a crêpe, with cream cheese. Like a bagel with lox and cream cheese, although much more delicate. The salmon was dill vodka cure did not smoked, and I missed the stronger taste of smoked salmon. The borscht was the best dish of the three. Unlike American Borst, which is just a thick liquid mate from beats, this had chunks of beef and sautéed vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, and peas. It was a full beef stew with a beet base. I would’ve liked it to be a little spicier, but I guess Russian style food isvery mildly spiced. The vinaigrette salad was predominantly very small pieces of pickled cabbage parentheses sauerkraut), with small pieces of beet, potato, and green beans. It was delicate and enjoyed by my vegetarian partner. The dessert donuts were small round pieces of dough that had been deep-fried and then coated with powdered sugar. There was a small container of raspberry jam to dip them in. It was made at the time we ordered, and it was piping hot. It wasn’t anything like an American donut, so don’t get the idea you’re gonna have a doughnut looking thing when you order this. The decor of the place was enhanced with sets of nesting Russian dolls (matryoshkas). I enjoyed a Lithuanian beer from their selection of Baltic and East European beers. Overall, it was a very peaceful and educational lunch. We learned a lot from the server, who was responsive to our multiple questions. I only caution is if you like spicy food, he won’t find it here, at least among the foods that we ordered. A pleasant education to Russian common food.
