Owner and entrepreneur Ali Saifi learned Southern hospitality in his native Iran long before settling in Greenville, S.C., and opened the restaurant as a gift to the community that celebrates the Upstate’s melting pot of cultures. Amazing place! We waited such a short time for our entree and dessert, which were both wonderful. Abraham, our server, was so attentive and personable. He connected with us as if we have known him for years! We will definitely be back again soon! (Thanks for the promotion of Select Restaurant on WYRD Charlie James!!)

We had a very enjoyable evening at Restaurant 17! We were celebrating a wedding anniversary, and I was looking for an atmosphere that would give the event an out of town feeling. Not only did we feel out of town, we felt whisked away to Europe! A beautiful vista was our view, in a very contemporary atmosphere. The food was presented well. Excellent flavor! The staff was warm and very attentive. All of this just outside of town. Remarkable!

Excellent food offerings, and the waiter was incredibly helpful in their suggestions and explanation of the menu. The kitchen did miss an order, but that was quickly rectified. Every plate was delicious and not a dud among them.

Spaghetti Westurn was founded in 2021 in the city of Greenville, S.C.. The concept is the brainchild of Chef and Owner Jason Saunders, formerly of Jianna in Greenville and Wicked Weed Brewing and Table in Asheville, to name a few of the spots where he made his mark. Chef Saunders decided to open his own concept in 2020.

Spaghetti Westurn was conceived of as an eatery and oasis that prizes the beauty of quality, culinary simplicity and generous depths of service in an environment that is comfortable and welcoming for guests and employees alike. Fantastic from start to finish. We shared a bit of everything, from the outstanding gnocchi to a marvelous plate of grilled bread and ricotta, a crisp Caesar (what is in that awesome dressing??) and finally our house-made pasta entrees. To finish, Campfire cake, warm and topped with fresh whipped cream. A perfect finish to a perfect evening.

Great experience at Rick Erwin’s Eastside. The whole staff was amazing, from the hostess Lilly who promptly welcomed and sat us, to our amazing server Miss Shannon, and our server’s assistant Hayden! Chef Anthony kindly visited our table and told us about a new twist he was doing with the deviled eggs… turned out to be a big hit with the table, the eggs were phenomenal! The steaks and sides were amazing as well. The manager Christina is running a great restaurant! 10/10 recommend, we will be back!
