The Retreat is a peaceful gem on Lake Wateree. We came for brunch today. Redneck Benedict was excellent. And my husband said the Lakeside Breakfast was delicious with crispy Applewood bacon. We sat outside with our little dog. Our server kindly brought him water. It was our first outing of that sort with him, and the staff was so welcoming. We will be back without a doubt!

Window seating is first come, first serve depending on how early you make your reservation. Parties larger than 5 are unable to be seated next to the window. We do our best to accommodate all requests but aren't always able to seat everyone that requests a window seat by the window.

Located in the historic Congaree Vista Motor Supply has been serving progressive, New World cuisine using classic French culinary techniques for over 20 years. We are Columbia's foremost "farm to fork" restaurant, working with local, sustainable farms for produce, meats, SC seafood and more.
