* The Iguana Restaurant is an open-air restaurant, that overlooks the city of Puerto Vallarta and serves contemporary Mexican cuisine in an elegant ambiance. Retractable walls take advantage of gentle coastal breezes and crystal chandeliers add soft light while water dances in the adjacent courtyard fountain. The dining room wraps around an outdoor patio with shady palms and another central fountain. In between is nestled the boutique Tequila Bar, serving a wide array of top-flight tequilas and mezcals.

It's always a wonderful experience at Iquana. I took three first-timers and they really loved it. This year, there was a mariachi band and they were fantastic. The food was fantastic. And the VIEW...fantastic. I would never visit PV without considering a dinner/evening at The Iquana!

This is our favorite restaurant in the world. The food is excellent, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is incredible!!!!!’ We visit this restaurant every year for close to 30 years!!!!!!!!! Don’t miss it if you go to Puerto Vallarta.

We had a really great experience. Not only was the food really good but the service was just impeccable. Our server(s) were so friendly, and kind, and the only thing they didn’t do was physically shove the food into our mouths. They were fantastic. We will definitely be returning and I’ll highly recommend to anyone visiting PV. Well worth the cost (coming from someone who lives in LA and is used to good food & subpar service)

This was our fourth visit to Tintoque and perhaps the best one yet. Everything about this restaurant is done in perfect harmony, from the impeccable service to the ambient music. The food varies in style from visit to visit which is part of their attraction, since it means you are dealing with a real chef as opposed to some corporate menu. Last night's food was simply amazing, from the incredible long-fermented bread to the chicken liver with chimichurri to the perfectly roasted picanha. And Davide is perhaps the best waiter in PV - gracious, knowledgeable and quick to point out that you're about to order too much food and you might want to restrain yourself to only one appetizer...
