Absolutely exquisite experience! We were on the terrace as the men wore shorts and honestly, we preferred being there! Gorgeous setting, cool enough to enjoy. The food and service are amazing - it lives up to the hype! Our daughter loved her birthday dinner and we definitely recommend Café Monarch for a high end dining experience!

SHINBAY is Arizona's first and only Omakase restaurant. This exotic, multi-course dining experience ignites all the senses and inspires guests to explore uncharted flavors. Wanda and Raul and everyone on staff was amazing as they always have been. The tea was wonderful, champagne, and all of the foods. However, it was almost unbearably hot because of the broken front door. We felt very badly for all the staff because it was so hot in there. We’ve been coming to tea for 20 years and will continue. Hopefully the door is fixed ASAP for the staff there!

My friend and I enjoyed high tea, sampling Birthday Party, which was a new tea to the house. Everything was delicious. From the unique, rose bathroom ceiling to the perfectly crumbly scone to the seemingly infinite selection of teas, we enjoyed our time. Another table was having a birthday party and, when the waitstaff brought the birthday cake, all of the customers joined in to sing Happy Birthday to stranger. It just felt right in that place. Note: Make a reservation. The house is small and fills up fast, so just dropping in and getting a table might not actually happen.
