Welcome to Mahalo, created by Canadian sisters Emma & Brit, located in the heart of Casco Viejo, what began as a dream, became a reality. Mahalo Panama, opened July 1st 2016, and the concept was simple, healthy food, promoting healthy living, and providing a space for people to feel comfortable, as if in your own backyard. Mahalo has since branched into two locations, maintaining the original location as a juice bar under the name of Snack Shack, and the new Mahalo Cocina y Jardin with a slightly more intimate cozy setting offering an international menu with the same healthy base. Since opening Mahalo has been seen in Vogue, GQ, Conde Naste Traveler, Lonely Planet and more.

What a GEM! Was recommended by a local for good food and boy were they right! Everyone at the table loved each dish we ordered. The menu is fun and diverse and clearly marked for dietary needs! We went with three kids, two vegetarians and one gluten free and everyone was delighted! Great staff and fun atmosphere topped it off! Couldn’t recommend enough!!!

Seafood plates are unlike any other. Each plate we got has a unique sauce that was very flavorful. Amazing views and good music

Great experience. We sat outside at the bar and were served by a great bartender. Drinks were made right in front of us and appetizers came out one at a time and not all at once - we managed to consume everything super quick because it was all so delicious! We ordered a bunch of plates off the appetizer menu and everything was f real and delicious. Highly recommend the duck dumplings. I could have eaten 10!
