Al and Alma’s Supper Club was founded in 1956 by Al and Alma Quist. During the day Al was a firefighter and the Mayor of Island Park, at night he cooked the best food on the lake! His idea of creating a dining destination worth making a trip for propelled a lasting history as Lake Minnetonka's longest operating restaurant. Open for dinner only, today's modern restaurant embraces recipes that have spanned three generations. The term "Supper Club" embraces our past but requires no membership! Hand cut steaks, slow cooked BBQ ribs, famous campstyle walleye and homemade desserts accompany modern American fare and delightful nightly specials including fresh ocean fish. We had dinner at the outside patio area, and it was an absolutely glorious evening! We sat in the shifting, dappling sunlight as the sun went down and it was beautiful! The umbrellas gave just enough shade and the other various seating areas to get together with friends made it a very inviting space! Our food was excellent and the choices were almost too much to pick from, we will definitely have to go back now to try more!! Our server Ava and the rest of the staff were just too kind and took wonderful care of us! It has become our new "Go To" restaurant! MJH

If you're curious about our name, it comes from the legend of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. As the story goes, Babe had an appetite as big as Bunyan himself and is rumored to have eaten 30 bales of hay a day.

Like our restaurant's big blue spirit animal, we're a pack of people that lives to eat and drink. We're endlessly in love with the Midwest and its connection to seasonal ingredients grown close to home. It's what inspires our menu and our team. We are a family owned and operated restaurant locate in beautiful downtown Wayzata, MN. McCormick's Pub and Restaurant features a cozy pub and dining areas, steeped in the Irish tradition of warm hospitality. We offer a unique guest experience that blends the best of traditional Irish pub fare, as well as Continental and Nouveau International cuisine that is made entirely from scratch by Chef Quin Meyer and team.
We have a beautiful covered and heated patio that overlooks lake Minnetonka. Please know that we have limited space for large parties. For large parties, please visit our website at www.mccormicks.pub and send us a note. We do require shirt shoes and pants when dining with us. A beach cover up when coming from the lake.

Always delicious with excellent service. I chose to sit in the bar which can be louder, but they kindly accomodated this solo diner in a booth. Steak was cooked perfectly, augratin could have used more salt. Bisque was amazing. Key lime pie to die for. All in all a great dinner experience!

I took 2 business friends for lunch in the outside patio. The sandwiches were delicious, the ambiance delightful and they both want to return to Bacio for our next lunch!

Our go to favorite restaurant. This was a business dinner with 3 others from different parts of the country. All of us had the Lord Fletchers walleye dinner on my recommendation. Food was loved by everyone including a skeptic Brirish gentleman. The au gratin remain the best I've ever had. Chloe did an outstanding job serving us
