With a table for two, my seat (#14) was facing inland which was disappointing - looking at football on two large screens, scruffy beach area, unkempt and unfinished buildings and a block of apartments didn’t exactly “float my boat!” Shame as all other components were very good with especially friendly staff which always makes the difference.

Beautiful atmosphere. Great table by the seaside. Wine by the glass exaggeratedly expensive at 12 euro per glass. Rest of prices are consistent with quality of food and ambience.

Excellent food. Really tasty and very generous portion sizes - we ended up ordering way too much! Kimchi pancake was awesome, kimchi top notch and Ramen was amazing! Service was great. All in all an excellent experience. Definitely recommend.

good food, good service, lovely location and interior. unfortunately front 2 inside tables as you get in are not pleasant. the door always banging shut by patrons, if the door is closed then then it’s too hot as the aircon doesn’t reach them. the management needs to figure out what to do with that front door. mushroom pasta was good, so was the tuna and the pasta on the specials, ceviche decent as well.

Our name is derived from the historically significant Westreme Battery that is located just around the corner. Built by the Order of St. John in 1715, this was actually the first line of defence breached by the French invaders in 1798. Over the years, the building was modified, restored and adapted for different uses. Today, only parts of it remain standing as a lasting testament to its illustrious past.
