The notable Los Angeles Couple, Babette & Christian are no doubt living a couple’s dream, to be able to work together and married for over 30 years and loving it… In 2012, Babette and Christian birthed A Food Affair, a truly unique French dining experience. From the interior and exterior décor, to your plate, the Royères welcome you to their Provence style home. With Chef Christian managing and orchestrating the back part of the restaurant through his 40+ years of experience in the food industry, and Babette managing the front of the house, these two are the epitome of a successful couple. This dynamic duo is what this dining experience is all about, feeling as if you were already a part of their family.

A Food Affair is one of those special restaurant experiences that stays with you afterwards like a sip of fine wine (which they have a lot of as well)! My husband is half french and is picky about french food in the states. He was very happy here and that’s not for nothing. Every dish that we had was absolutely delicious and you could tell that not only do they make everything in house, they care. The service was fantastic and very welcoming. The chef Christian came out and spoke with us and was so sweet and kind, his wife who is the hostess was very kind as well. We will not only be back, this place will be treasured for years to come.

Always enjoy eating there. Excellent spaghetti and meatballs. The arrabiata sauce is very very spicy but I mix it with marinara sauce. They now have a wonderful dinner salad . The staff is very accommodating and anxious to please.,

Vito restaurant felt like an old school Italian place. Very cozy. Our server was kind and everything was brought out at a trimly manner. Everything we ate was incredible.
