of only a few restaurants in Kent to hold a Michelin star.
The Good Food Guide said of this Kent restaurant... “Respondents continue in their enthusiasm for Graham Garrett’s cuisine: ‘great intensity of flavours, fabulous textures.’ as one reader put it."

About the restaurant
Opened in 2018 by local couple Mark & Charly, Marleys is a neighbourhood favourite rooted in fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. What began as a cosy café-restaurant has evolved into something a little more special — a place where elevated casual dining meets warm, down-to-earth hospitality.By day, we serve relaxed walk-in breakfast and lunch with a focus on comforting British flavours and thoughtful touches. By night, Marleys transforms into a more intimate and romantic setting, offering a refined yet welcoming dinner experience with a carefully curated menu and a touch of elegance.
Whether you’re joining us for a laid-back brunch or an evening out, you’ll find heartfelt food, a passionate team, and an atmosphere that feels both familiar and beautifully unexpected.
Dinner reservations are available in the evenings, while breakfast and lunch remain walk-in only.

Bar Ingo | We always welcome walk-ins.Restaurant | Small Plates | Great Wines
We are a chef led bar serving sharing & -small plates of deliciousness, incredible wines and Estrella Galicia on tap.
The seasonal menu is inspired by San Sebastian and southern Europe using the best produce that Kent has to offer.
Wine is a big part of what we do and with our small but ever changing list you can expect old world classics, Pet Nats, chilled reds and wines from the next generation vintners.
Bar Ingo is the third project from the father and son duo, Tomas & Rio, together they have created a comfortable, cosy and casual restaurant with a mix of regular table seating as well as kitchen counter seats where you are close to the action. Swing by for a glass of wine or stay and enjoy the whole menu!
We are located on the beautiful corner of 9 York Street and together with our amazing neighbours we are creating an amazing restaurant, cafe & retail destination here in Broadstairs.

About the restaurant
The Plough isn't your average countryside pub. Sitting on a quiet lane in a quintessentially English village, The Plough was set to be sold off the developers when 120 members of the community came together to invest, and save, their local. After its purchase and renovation, the Yates family took over the kitchen and opened the pub's small, but proud, restaurant, Bowleys. Head Chef Alex Yates is still very early on in his career but though only in his early twenties, he has already spent two years in the kitchens at The Goring Hotel in London, as well as having gained experience with Rick Stein and even once cooking for the Queen.
Bowleys menus have a traditional feel and adhere to classic, English fare with a fine dining twist. There are several options to choose between including a tasting menu, set lunch, a la carte, brunch and Sunday lunch. The tasting menu is the jewel in Bowleys crown and consists of five courses, with an optional sixth.
