Amazing ! Can’t wait to go back ! Went for my birthday celebration with my two sons and we all enjoyed . The grape leaves were beyond amazing in fact we ordered another serving . My oldest stated that he wants to come back for his birthday dinner .

We shared a Ceasar salad that was delicious. Special was a grilled veal chop with tasty risotto and sea scallops were perfect. The surprise treat of the evening was chocolate cake bread in the bread basket that was spectacular. Brooke was our server and absolutely charming along with being very helpful. We hope to return before we head back to Texas in a few days.

Menu focuses on local fishermen’s catch of the day, old school seafood favorites and a sprinkling of modern seafood interpretations. Menu ranges from raw bar, to warm and cold lobster rolls, baked cod, bacon wrapped scallops, bouillabaisse and grilled NY Strip.

Large bar and spectacular views of the artful New Bedford Fishing Fleet. Large covered outside deck overlooking the fishing boats and harbor. Centrally located beside the Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Ferries. Large parking lot.

And, of course, the hospitality is second to none. Service is what built the business.

Way back in 1975, the Sail Loft lit the fire for Steve Silverstein, who went on to open nearly 40 restaurants. Located in the quintessential seaside village of Padanaram, it was the neighborhood place where you could get a good (strong) drink, chef prepared comfort food and relax in a convivial atmosphere with familiar faces. The Sail Loft was everyone’s favorite place; it was a hangout where some came for food and others for drink.

When the Sail Loft became available in 2021, Steve jumped on the opportunity to take the wheel. Steve and his wife Judy transformed the Sail Loft into an elevated neighborhood restaurant with a distinct updated boatyard feel. The spot is nautical with a chef-driven yet approachable menu, a deep selection of spirts and an intriguing wine list. As with all of Silverstein’s places, while the food, drink and design are always top-notch, it is the warm hospitality that keeps ‘em coming back.

Chef Luciano grew up with his parents & grandparents where good food, using the freshest of ingredients, was always a staple. His passion for food was instilled in him as a small child in his home and led him to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of Italy. After graduating, Luciano worked all around the world perfecting his craft in places like Switzerland, Germany, and on a luxury cruise line. 

The Torre Restaurant Group family of restaurants has grown to serve customers throughout Southern New England with authentic Italian food. We have eight locations, all offering different ways to explore the many tastes of Italy! Our newest location here in Mansfield, is the first location that merges all our dining concepts into one. The food is always fantastic! Everyone we take there always wants to go back. The owner is the nicest, sweetest gentleman and always remembers us as well as our server knows exactly what we want and we only go there like 2x a year! Friday and Saturday nights they have music and dancers- what a fun and different night out! This place has been around for forever and we know why. Consistent excellence all the time!
