Our Ellerslie location is the perfect spot for a speedy lunch, drinks afterwork and a night out with friends. With just 60 seats, this space is bright, dynamic with all the little details our properties are known for.
This summer, snag a spot on the patio, and settle in - small plates and paella to share will transport you out of the suburbs and into Spain. Baekjeong literally means butcher in Korean which is a name we hold proud of.
We proudly serve only the finest cuts of Premium Alberta Sterling Silver meat which prepared by 15 years experienced butcher. Every table features a built-in grill (use gas) to allow you to dine at your own table.

All meat orders are accompanied by bottomless Korean style salads and vegetables. Combo meals have a choice of either soybean paste soup, kimchi stew, steamed eggs, soft-tofu soup or corn cheese.
Our relaxing atmosphere and juicy dishes make Baekjeong a perfect place to hold all kinds of parties and gatherings. Please reserve a spot a head of time for parties of eight or more.

Dining at Bodega was a very pleasant experience. The food was delicious! It was not salty which is common in most restaurants. The flavours were great. Calamari is nicely done. The cod/ mashed potatoes is the best. Even the salad is tart and flavorful. People around us enjoyed the lobster risotto. It seemed to be a popular choice. Cheesecake was really good. I had it with caramel sauce! Yummy! Our server was excellent! She was pleasant and efficient and down to earth. The place is cozy but it could be updated. But it does have a nice vibe. I will going back soon…

Tiny restaurant with a big vibe. Great service, fantastic food and drinks, beautiful decor. It’s a 1 person operation in the kitchen, so you get your food whenever it’s ready, but the drinks and decor kept me happily waiting. I would definitely return to try some other menu items.

The food was excellent and we enjoyed our lunch. We are always surprised by how many people we encounter who have never dined here or for that matter never heard of Ernest's. If you are looking for a delicious and creative fine dining experience at a reasonable price we would highly recommend this spot. A bonus is that you are supporting the advancement of the culinary training of future chefs. It's a win win.
