With a wide range of local and sustainable suppliers at our doorstep, from our Lobsters and Crabs at Belhaven Lobsters in Dunbar to our vegetables and Native breed meats at Free Company Farm in Balerno we’re lucky to be taking advantage of Scotlands unique and unrivalled natural larder.

Cooking over coals helps add an extra layer of flavour to whatever we’re cooking on them, it’s more intuitive and engaging as cooks and we feel like that comes through on the plate.

Tasting menus are our bread and butter but we also offer a pre fixe three course.

La Garrigue es un bistró francés situado en el 31 de la calle Jeffrey Street, cerca de la famosa Royal Mile de Edimburgo y a pocos minutos de la estación de Waverley. Este restaurante está inspirado en especialidades culinarias de la región de Languedoc de Francia y ofrece una cocina casera y rústica francesa con un toque moderno. Su propietario y chef, Jean Michel de Gauffre, conoce bien la región y ayuda a introducir lo mejor de la cocina francesa pastoral en un ambiente que evoca el sur de Francia. Desde su apertura en 2001, La Garrigue ha ganado un montón de recomendaciones de los críticos. Es un lugar ideal para una comida íntima o para cenar, así como para eventos para grupos pequeños. Located on the top floor of the Main Stand at Edinburgh's iconic Tynecastle Park Stadium.

Sit back and relax as our team proudly present a celebration of seasonal ingredients and flavours in our recently renovated premises. From starters to desserts, every dish has been carefully crafted to showcase excellent local produce.

We’re a family-friendly restaurant with children’s menus available.

Since opening in 2020, we’ve become a favourite to locals and visitors alike - recently claiming a place in OpenTable's UK Top 100 Restaurants for 2023 and winning Best Restaurant in the 2023 Radio Forth Awards.

Our restaurant is open for breakfast seven days a week, and open Thursday to Sunday for lunch and dinner (last seating at 5pm on Sunday). Booking is essential.

We are a small, independent family run restaurant since 2002 specialising in grass fed Aberdeen Angus beef from Scottish small highland farms, cooked simply but with flair and attention to detail. We also serve fresh fish from local fish mongers west coast mussels, salmon, shrimps & Prawns.
Our emphasis is on high quality local ingredients and fresh produce from the best of local suppliers. Beef is selected, prepared and hung for us by Award wining "John Gilmour" of Macmerry master butchers since 1946. Fresh fish are delivered daily by Calum Sinclair and J.K Thompsons. West coast Mussels are delivered freshly daily by "Sea Mcgee". Artisan and farmhouse British cheeses are supplied by renowned Edinburgh cheesemonger, Iain Mellis and dairy produce from Fife Creamery. We take pride to cook everything fresh in our own kitchen daily.
We have outside seating arrangements for walk-Ins only.

Un buen bar-restaurante con comida típica escocesa. Bueníssimo. Volvería a repetir. Muy buena cocina y una camarera muy amable y atenta.
