The customer service and food service was excellent. It was a bit pricey, but the presentation, the food and ambiance may it worth it. Definitely a five star experience

This was our first visit to Sérénité. We couldn’t of been happier with our visit. Our original seats were closer to the entrance and I knew my wife would be chilled every time the door opened. Moving us was not an issue and we were given a booth that was ideal. Our server Lavala (VAL for short) could not of been sweeter. He took our drink order came back and reviewed the specials for the evening. After our cocktails arrived Val came back and wanted to know if we were ready to order. Usually we like to sit, talk and enjoy our drinks so we asked for him to come back…no attitude like you can get sometimes. We ordered the special soup-amazing, house salad & beet salad. The salads were large and delicious, especially the beet salad. Dinner was a beef filet and a pasta, I had them add shrimp. Both meals prepared perfectly, served hot and also delicious. Truly my wives Filet (medium) was perfectly medium. My shrimp was tender and moist. I wish I could cook shrimp that well!! A perfect date night for two old people…..I’m 70 and my wife is 64. Side note… she’s beautiful and looks like in her mid 40’s…lucky me. Val thank you for a wonderful evening. We will be back and ask for you to be our server.

The menu at Batuqui is full of exciting and unique choices and they are known for their authentically grilled top sirloin steak called Picanha. Absolutely stellar experience. We went for omakase and were informed they were down a chef and couldn’t do a curated 5-course omakase, but the server offered suggestions and we created our own meal and it was truly outstanding. We’ll be back for our omakase!!

The food and the cocktails and the service are always outstanding here. My only criticism is, I wish it was a little less pricey, but that’s probably a result of running such a small, intimate bistro at a high level of quality.
