Always enjoy the food at Rocco Vinos: great meat sauce with the pasta dishes. Waitress tends to be forgetful when requesting an item and never delivers.

Edelweiss German-American Restaurant is one of Chicago’s favorite German restaurants. It has been a family-owned dining destination for over 30 years.

The menu features an impressive array of traditional, well-crafted German specialties along with classics like the American steak, chicken and seafood dishes. A gluten free menu and kids menu are also available. We offer 16 beers on tap as well as a variety of craft and international beers, wine and schnapps. Our bar area is an excellent venue to watch sports and play the slot machines while enjoying our daily bar and menu specials.

Great German food and good portion sizes. Great service - we had our 3 year old grandson with us and the waiter Jose was very helpful with getting his food and drink out quickly. He was also very knowledgeable about the beers available on tap and had great suggestions. The black forest brandy Alexander was an amazing choice for desert. The only issue is with parking there are maybe 20 parking spaces, we got there early for a Saturday at 5:20 PM and there were only a few parking spaces left, if the restaurant was full parking would be an issue.

First-time visit on a Friday night. Sat at the bar and ordered the escargot, lamb lollipops, and wood-fired mushroom pizza. Food was amazing. Cocktails were awesome. Vibe was energetic. Aria (Jax) was super cheerful helpful and attentive - wonderful server!

Was surprised at the limited drink menu - not only did they have no liquor license, they didn't even have lemonade which was disappointing - but the entries were delicious. This is more of a casual place than we expected based on photos, but in a nice, walkable area.

I chose this restaurant because it was close to an EV charging station. It turned out to be a wonderful experience. The food was exceptional and the wait staff attentive. I would highly recommend whether your vehicle needs to charge or not.

Our server, Willie was outstanding. Our food arrived a little cold and he had new plates made up and offered us a complimentary dessert. He was extremely attentive. Food was great, as usual and a wonderful deal at buy one, get one.
