Lewnes' is the best steak restaurant in Annapolis. The ambiance is both old-school and refined, but comfortable. The service is first-rate, from the knowledgeable, timely and friendly wait staff to the front desk and bartenders. We had a terrific anniversary dinner and my 16 oz bone-in filet was a special treat. Complimentary desert and terrific wine list. Simply cannot go wrong with this choice.

We had 4:30 reservations but they were able to get us in at 4:15. We sat inside to enjoy the air conditioning after being out in the sun all day. Our server was great. Just the right amount of attentive. I don't remember her name but she did a good job.

As usual the food and service were excellent. A pleasure to done with you again. The noise level was quite loud last night - busy evening and a few groups that stayed a long time. Keep wondering if anything could be done with acoustics to quiet this down? Sound panels on the ceiling or walls? Lots of hard surfaces and glass to bounce off of. We will always return - such a welcome and quality food rendezvous to our community

It was great and unexpected. It looked amazing online so I didn’t expect it to be so unassuming in location. The staff was wonderful. They held the doors for us as we left. The waitress was very kind and attentive. Food and drinks were timely and delicious. We had the calamari which had tiny peppers and sauce, excellent. I had a salmon BLTA and my girlfriend had the salmon with vegetables. Both great. We tried 3 types of drinks, a raspberry Bellini, lemon drop, and strawberry margarita. All good! The beignets with Bavarian cream, light and fluffy, an easy dessert after a big meal. Definitely will be coming again!
