Da es im Innenraum bereits um 17:30h laut war, entschieden wir uns für einen Tisch im Patio. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir bestellten die angesagte Crobster Roll und eine Flasche Tidal Bay. Das Essen wurde extrem schnell gebracht. Es wurde auf einem Metalltablett und in der für Wings üblichen Plastikschale serviert. Nungut: der Name sagt es: Canteen! Die Flasche Wein nahmen wir dann mit nach Hause. Schade, der erste Eindruck mit Stoffservietten und edlen Weingläsern war sehr gut; der Crobster sehr schmackhaft, aber bitte auf Porzellan servieren!

Das war mit Abstand das beste Essen auf unserer Reise in Nova Cotia und wir hatten einige sehr gute kulinarische Erfahrungen. Sehr originell und handwerklich exzellent.

Piatto is a gathering place centred around a passion for fine food, fabulous wines, friends and family. Check out the little gems we've come across—diverse wines from across the globe, authentic Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, coffee and fabulous desserts—all in a casual atmosphere and with reasonable prices. In our world, authenticity is big. Our pizzaiolo use ingredients and procedures regulated by the Italian governing association (VPN)—so you experience a "true" pizza like you would find in the energetic pizzerias in Naples, Italy (but without the airfare). We are happy to now be taking a limited amount of reservations online as well as always keeping a portion of the restaurant open for walk-ins.
