Ahi Tuna was a fantastic appetizer! Gamblers old Fashion and Daou Cabernet complemented our meal! Dinner was lamb chops with sweet potato Casserole and Tbone with baked potato! Everything was cooked to perfection. Our Waitress Ampara M made sure our dinner experience was outstanding. Look forward to the next time

Stable Café is open from 11am to 3pm daily for guests of Biltmore Estate. Limited reservations are accepted before noon and after 2pm, based on availability. All others will be served on a first come-first served basis.

Biltmore tickets or an annual pass are required to visit all restaurants on the estate. For seasonal evening events, dinner reservations for all the guests in the party must have an evening-specific ticket or be an estate lodging guest. Dinner menu is a three-course, prefix menu.

The convenient location next to Biltmore House, friendly hospitality, and delectable food make the Stable Café a popular stop after visits to the house and gardens. The ambiance of the historic surroundings in the renovated stable complex is unmatched. Enjoy lunch specials like the Stable Café BBQ with 16-hour smoked Appalachian style pulled pork and local roasted chicken! Sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, fresh salads and irresistible with desserts round out the daily lunch menu.

The Stable is a great place to eat if you are visiting the Biltmore House. It is convenient - right beside the house and has such a special history, too. The food is good and there is a variety of choices. We eat gluten-free and there are many GF selections, too. I especially like that the menu changes with the seasons so that we can have new selections when we visit.

In the 1950s, The Speckled Trout was a place to stop and fill up your gas tank. Now, you can fill up on fresh mountain trout, soup beans, and hoecakes and wash it down with local farm beer or fresh rosé. We were very disappointed with the server/waiter we had during our visit on September 20th, our reservations were for 5:00. I took my wife out for her birthday along with my sister-in-law, who was a first timer at the restaurant, and the service from our waiter was appalling. Our tea glasses were never filled my wife had to walk up to the desk to get refills. The girls that remove the dirty dishes started coming by to fill water and tea. A 200.00 bill and this is the kind of service we got!

Due to storms they were shorthanded and Cash Only. However! It was still the most Lucious meal. Anticipating the next time we can order the Chicken Fried Chicken (Under Gravy and Over Grits with a side of Brussel sprouts). And our waitress , Brooke, was truly wonderful.
