we went to Joe's to celebrate a special friend's birthday. We were treated well -- a booth in a corner that gave us privacy and the ability to talk easily. The stone crabs are expensive but three of us shared them as appetizers and enjoyed immensely. Can't go to Joe's often but am confident that it would always be a great time.

love this place - have used it for special parties as well as for quiet dinners. Mary, the caterer, is a gem and all the wait staff are wonderful.

This was the first time we've been disappointed with the service and noise level. We asked the staff for a different table because our friend has a bad back and needed a different time of chair. We saw other tables had a different style chair which would have been much better for her. The restaurant room we were put in was closer to the bar than where we normally sit and we were surprised how much noisier it was. The food remains delicious and we'll go again but will be very firm about where we sit.

It was a very romantic setting and the food was delicious. The wait staff was very helpful. Only complaint was that we were seated by a very noisy customer and were glad when he finally left.

we surprised our friends with a drive and lunch. It's a rare treat to find a place they hadn't already tried. They enjoyed the meal and the ambiance as much as we did. This was our second time at the Farm and it was as good as we remembered it.

I've used LaPorta's for a surprise birthday party (35 people), for lunch and for dinner. All occasions were great because of the service and the food. I highly recommend you use LaPorta's for a catered event -- Mary was so cooperative and helpful.
