This restaurant is a welcome addition to the Fall River dining scene. Thumbs up for the Steak Salad and the Fish and Chips. The latter has a corn flour batter which gives the cod a crispy texture. All entrees were served hot. The only disappointment was the French Onion Soup. There was no flavor to it and it was too watery. It needed some red wine and more onions. We appreciated the restaurant honoring a free birthday dessert even though the birthday was in early September. A very good meal overall. We will be back to try other entrees.
Excellent Italian food and attentive service. This restaurant is located in the Foxwoods Casino. Based on our prior experience a year ago, we chose to dine here again. We were not disappointed. The shrimp cocktail was amazing (very fresh). Our table was unanimous in giving all 4 main courses enthusiastic thumbs up. The Crispy Chicken under a Brick was excellent as was the Chicken Parmigiana and Tagliatelle bolognese. All entrees were piping hot and tasty. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. The only drawback to this restaurant is the limited menu. There was no Veal Parmigiana option which was disappointing Nonetheless, an excellent meal all round. Highly recommended.
We are regular diners here. We love the food but the service leaves much to be desired. We dined here on Halloween with only a few patrons in the restaurant. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. The manager apologized and offered a complimentary dessert (Red Velvet Cake).
Excellent food and service. This is a traditionally decorated steak house with wood and mirrors. The Prime Dry Aged Tomahawk Steak and the Filet Mignon were cooked to perfection. The red wine sauce was outstanding as were the Parmesan mashed potatoes and onion rings. Of the two desserts, the strawberry glazed cheese cake is the better option. Light and creamy. The chocolate mousse is a little dense. Our server Raymond? was excellent. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. As we had two birthdays in our party, the manager brought glasses of champagne on the house. The desserts were served on a gigantic plate of cotton candy with candles on each cake. First impressions are lasting impressions. We will definitely be back the next time we stay at National Harbor
We chose to dine here again based on our initial experience 2 years ago. We were not disappointed. The appetizer Greek Avgolemono Chicken soup was a hit again. Just the perfect hint of lemon without being too lemony. Our party of 8 gave thumbs up to Chicken Souvlaki, Gyro, Salmon Tricolore, Quattro Pizza, Prosciutto e Vodka and two other pasta dishes. Service was exceptional and made up for the snafu of one of the entrees being prepared after all other entrees were delivered. The manager not only took the entree off the overall bill but also comped our 2 orders of chocolate lava cake. This is the best chocolate lava cake that the chocoholics in our party of 8 have had. Highly recommend this restaurant.
This was our first visit and our party of 6 were pleasantly surprised by the good food. The menu is limited but we enjoyed the delicious non traditional taco selections, the tostadas, Quesadilla and the seafood ceviche. The latter was superb with just the right amount of lime juice. The jalapeño peppers added a very strong kick. We all shared baskets of corn tortilla chips and salsa with guacamole. The salsa was fresh with just the right amount of cilantro. The chips were warm and lightly salted. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. You won't break the bank here as the serving sizes are tapas size. An enjoyable meal overall and experience.
Disappointing. Poor service and so-so food. Our party of 3 gave all entrees a unanimous thumbs down. The Brewery Steak Sandwich was served with the cheese sauce and peppers even though we had requested these items on the side. Likewise, the Mango Habanero Chicken was served with avocado on top when we had requested it to be on the side. To give credit where its due, the chicken was tender and the spicy mango habanero glaze very flavorful; however, the cilantro lime rice lacked flavor. The nachos appetizer gets a thumbs up. If you're looking for comfort food, this place fits the bill, but don't expect a fine dining experience or exceptional service.
- Comfort Food
We made a Birthday reservation and was told they would bring a small cake, which never happened. We are rewards members and it took 40 minutes to get out chips and salsa. Very slow service.
Poor service marred this visit. Enthusiastic thumbs up from our party of 4 for the entrees (grilled salmon w/mashed potatoes, chicken parmigiana, chicken enchilada and Oscar made with shrimp, scallops and chicken). The server forgot to put in our order for Caesar Salad. Service was also very slow. We are regular diners at both this location as well as Seekonk. The food is always consistently good and service not an issue.
Excellent meal and experience overall. Both the Party of Many Skewers appetizer and the filet mignon entrees were cooked to perfection however the filet mignons were a tad dry. The lobster mac and cheese is the best anywhere. The Death by Butter mashed potatoes (shareable) were sinfully delicious and a perfect accompaniment to the filet mignons. The desserts (Chocolate Lava Cake and Banana Bread Pudding) get an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up. Kudos to our server Johnny. Not only was he aware of our time constraints (theater tickets), he also advised a member in our party of 4 of what foods he could have (nut allergy). 10 Prime is a bit pricey but its worth it for a special occasion.
- Pre/post Theatre
Simply outstanding. This is our new favorite restaurant for Italian food. Our party of 4 were unanimous. Excellent appetizers and entrees (Shrimp Cocktail, Caesar Salad, Baked Scallops, Miso Glazed Salmon, Chicken Parmesan & Scallops/Shrimp with bolognaise sauce). The bolognaise sauce is simply the best. The lemoncello cake was tangy and very light. One of the best desserts I've had. Our Server provided excellent attentive service. We will definitely return to this restaurant again.

Excellent food but a disappointing experience. The calamari appetizer with marinara sauce was outstanding - light crispy batter and a savory sauce with a little kick. The bread with garlic infused olive oil with herbs and Parmesan was delightful. The entrees (spaghetti with beef meatballs and veal parmigiana) get two enthusiastic thumbs up. Both were served piping hot. This would be a 5 star review but for the service. We arrived a few minutes past our reserved time of 6:15 pm. We were not seated until 6:35 pm. To compensate for our wait, we were served a complimentary appetizer as were other guests who were seated after us. Although we ordered our entrees within 5 minutes of being seated, our entrees did not arrive at our table until 7:25 pm which gave us very little time to finish our meals. Staff appeared overwhelmed by the pre-concert dinner rush.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is excellent and consistently good. From the food (Family platter #2, the Sambousik, Sfiha and Hummus with spiced beef and toasted pine nuts appetizers) to the entertainment (Mitchell Kalsounis), Byblos hit a home run this particular evening.

Excellent meal overall. This is our favorite Davio's and it didn't disappoint. Both the bone in ribeye and 8 oz filet mignon were cooked to perfection (medium); However, the filet was a little on the rare side i.e. medium rare. Nonetheless, the steaks were superb. Why go to any other steakhouse when Davio's Braintree has the best.
Excellent food however the service was disappointing. The shrimp cocktail is the best anywhere. The jumbo shrimp are meaty and the cocktail sauce just right. The clam chowder was very good. Both entrees were outstanding. The simply grilled salmon was served with a very tasty salsa verde and grilled roasted vegetables (carrots and parsnips). The shrimp scampi and beef medallions were delicious. The only snafu was that this entree was served on a bed of lobster mashed potatoes. We had asked for the mashed potatoes as a side. This does not detract from the overall dining experience. This restaurant provides quality and delicious meals on a consistent basis. We would return again
Excellent meal and experience overall. From the shrimp cocktail with an Italian twist (drizzled with olive oil and basil), to the hot bread and black olive tapenade, to the entrees (veal parmigiana and chicken parmigiana), the food was outstanding. You're better off seating inside (you can hear the waterfall) but its very loud if you sit outside. Our experience was enhanced by the wonderful service by our server, Michael. We were served a complimentary Gelato for my birthday. Fantastic experience overall. First time diners at this restaurant and we will definitely return.
We were looking for a place to have dinner on our way up to Quebec for Memorial Day weekend. The food was very good, tasty and priced reasonably. The only drawback was that my hamburger bun got soggy very quickly. Other than that, we enjoyed our stop here and would definitely come back again if in the area. The place had a home cooking feel about it and the decor inside is warm with stonework and beams.
The hallmark of a good restaurant is consistency. This was our 3rd visit in 5 weeks. We were not disappointed. Our party of four gave two thumbs up to the entrees (Salmon, Bone in Rib Eye, Filet and Stuffed Squash). The steaks were cooked to perfection (medium) and had the right amount of seasoning. Our server Brittany was superb. She was attentive without being obtrusive. On her recommendation, I had the bread pudding for dessert which was sinfully delicious. This is our new favorite Davio's to visit.
Excellent meal for restaurant week menu. The salad with Quinoa was interesting (first time I've had it). Thumbs up for the lemon sole fillet served over a bed of whipped mashed potatoes and asparagus spears as well as the key lime pie with blueberry compote. The portions for the 3 course dinner were perfect.
I've dined at Firebirds in Short Pump, VA several times. This was my first to the Chandler location. My wife had read some negative reviews but our fears were put to rest by the quality of our entrees. We were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival. Both our entrees were cooked to perfection and very flavorful (Bone in Ribeye) (Filet Mignon), The baked potato with a salted crust and all the trimmings (sour cream, butter & chives) gets a two thumbs up. The only snafu was rectified immediately by our server. The mashed potatoes were served lukewarm but our server brought a fresh batch of piping hot mashed potatoes within minutes. Our server was very conscientious of religious dietary restrictions ensuring that the filet mignon was fresh cut and not pre-wrapped with bacon. Excellent meal. Highly Recommended.
Excellent all round restaurant. Would definitely recommend when in Sedona as a must. Where to begin. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for both entrees Calamari Capesante and the Aragosta with lobster, shrimp, mussells scallops and clams over home made linguini pasta. Both dishes were flavorful and tasty. The Della Casa Exotica salad is one of the best salads I've had. Lastly, the bread served with a garlic, basil and parmesan infused olive oil was just perfect. Superb experience. Would definitely return here again,.
This is our first visit to Sedona. We couldn’t have picked a better restaurant to dine in. This is the oldest restaurant in Sedona. The decor preserves its historical heritage. We dined in the Gibson room. Shrimp cocktail was delicious with the shrimp meaty/firm. The cocktail sauce had just the right amount of horse radish intertwined with greens. The entrees get 2 thumbs up. The ribeye was cooked to perfection as was the prime rib. The latter justified its award as best prime rib in Sedona. The sides were tasty (mashed potatoes and baked potato along with vegetable medley of yellow/green zucchini, carrots and broccoli.
The staff are friendly and efficient and took a keen interest in letting us know about the restaurant’s history. Overall, we had an outstanding meal. Highly recommended to anyone who visits Sedona
Simply outstanding. Davio's in Foxboro was our favorite for many years. This was our first time dining at Braintree location. We have a new favorite Davio's - Braintree. Popovers were outstanding, the steaks cooked to perfection (very tender and juicy). The creme brulee and chocolate cake were delicious. Cheryl provided excellent attentive service. We will definitely return to this location again.
- Worth the Drive
Excellent meal and service in a very comfortable environment. The Prime Rib gets an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up. It was tender and cooked to perfection. The smashed potatoes were absolutely delicious. The Prime Rib is probably the best I've had. The only snafu was remedied immediately. The rib eye was served with a sauce which the manager (Pamela?) remedied by having another rib eye (naked) brought out within 5 minutes. Although our palates were full, we all partook of the carrot cake served warm. As with the Prime Rib, the carrot cake is the best I've had anywhere. Its reason enough to have dessert and come back again. Overall, a superb meal and dining experience. We would definitely return to this restaurant next time we are in the area.
- Special Occasion
Dined here for the first time under its new name. Menu still the same with some new additions. Excellent meal overall. I had the Chicken Piccata which popped with flavor. We will definitely be back again.
We loved the feel of this place. It’s warm and welcoming. If you want hearty fare this is the place to come. Excellent meals. The shepherd’s pie was absolutely delicious (no need to add salt or pepper) as was the beef brisket. Highly recommend this place. We would definitely return next time we are in the area. Parking is plenty at the back of the restaurant.
Prices were quite high for the quality of the food.
The French Onion soup is simply outstanding. Its the best that I have tasted in this area. Two thumbs up for the Bolognese.
Disappointing sums up our visit here. The food here is consistently good (we dine here regularly); however, we must have encountered an off night for the chef. The fried clams bellies were overdone. To the restaurant's credit, they made another batch that were just perfect. The filet mignon was tender but the char on the steak left much to be desired. It had an after taste. We've always had excellent meals here and notwithstanding this disappointment, we will be back again.
This visit was a birthday treat and we were not disappointed. Both steaks (bone in rib eye and filet mignon) were cooked to perfection. The steaks were tender and flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. As a side my wife ordered the fettucine pasta with lobster, mussels, asparagus and tomato in a light cream side. This dish was one of the specials offered. Desserts were a delight (slice of chocolate cake and gelato). Enthusiastic Thumbs Up for the overall meal.
Consistently good as always. This one of our regular dining options at either the Seekonk or Dartmouth location. Never had a bad meal here. The food is very good.
Our party of 3 loved the feel of this place (the old Riggs Bank Building on F Street). Its an architectural beauty with pillars and high ceilings. One gets the feeling you're dining in a bank. We would definitely return to try more dishes. The mango-shrimp tacos were flavorful and delicious. The Kobe cheeseburger was cooked to perfection and gets a big thumbs up as does the CBLT sandwich. The garlic fries and sweet potato fries were great. The Service was slow and chaotic at times but friendly.
We loved the sports theme of this restaurant. We would return to have a pre-game meal. The French Onion soup was hearty and delicious. The Really Good Cheeseburger cooked to perfection and juicy. The table was unanimous on the Crispy Chicken Fingers (golden brown on the outside and tender and juicy inside). Probably the best chicken fingers in a casual restaurant. The Ribeye steak was okay but the mashed potatoes were a hit. Service was slow due to the fact that the restaurant was full of fans for the Manchester United v. Barcelona game. Kudos to the servers. They were very friendly.
We loved the decor and relaxed feel of this place. We would definitely return to try more dishes. Thumbs up for the Benny Mac and Cheese with Buffalo Chicken tenders on the side. The Caesar Salad was perfectly dressed with lots of Parmesan cheese. The Asian Chicken Salad popped with excellent flavors (sesame lime dressing). The portion served could have easily been shared by our party of 3. Service was friendly but very slow.
The Buffalo Caribbean Chicken Tenders were amazing. Not to spicy and the pineapple-jalapeno salsa was the perfect complement. Thumbs up for the pizza. We were a little disappointed with the lobster rolls. They just didn't quite mesh. Service after a slow start was friendly.
Simply Outstanding. We dined here twice on the same day (lunch and dinner). The dim sum were piping hot. Ordered Waygu beef puff with black pepper; black truffle har gau - shrimp dumpling; Wok tossed Wagyu beef with onion & soy soauce in stone pot and wok fried flat rice noodles with Wagyu beef. All dishes were delicious with the Waygy beef puff a notch above all other dishes. Service was very good. Our servers took special note to highlight the non pork dishes. Contrary to other reviews, the dishes were not served all at the same time or too fast. They were well timed giving us plenty of time to finish them. This was our first time eating Dim Sum and it won't be the last. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
The burgers here are the best we have had in our journeys. The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection. However, the plating left much to be desired. Burger left alone in the middle of the plate with nothing else. The service was pleasant and very attentive without being obstructive. Highly recommend this burger joint. We would definitely dine here again.
- Waterfront
Our party of 4 diner here on a weekday. Surprisingly, there were several items on menu that the restaurant had run out of. Our server recommended the tenderloin tips. This dish was excellent. I plan on ordering the tips again the next time I dine here. Thumbs up for the classic Minestrone Soup.
This restaurant is known for its consistency. The minestrone soup did not disappoint. Tastes as good as ever. Our party of 4 gave a thumbs up to all of the entrees (lobster mac cheese, swordfish and 6 oz petite filet); however, the latter was a little dry from being over cooked. I had requested medium but it was almost well done by the time it got to the table.
Excellent meal overall. The grilled salmon was delicious/flavorful and cooked to perfection. Thumbs up for the baked parmesan crusted chicken. One of the good things about this restaurant is that all fish can be prepared simply grilled, broiled or pan seared. We were able to complete our meal and make it in time to PPAC. Good fast service.
This was our first time dining here and we will definitely be coming back. The Baked French Onion soup is one of the best I've ever tasted - simply outstanding. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for the Corned Beef Reuben sandwich, the Papardelle Bolognesse and the Hanger Steak Sandwich. The latter popped with flavor from the gorgonzola crumbs sprinkled on top of the steak.
We enjoyed the Shrimp Mozambique and the Trio (scallops, shrimp and mussels in a white wine sauce with angel hair pasta). The latter entree could do with some more garlic. The server/customer service was excellent (friendly and attentive).
This restaurant is set in the Renaissance Hotel i.e. It's the lobby bar restaurant. As such the noise level can get rather loud. You can hear the conversations of the bar patrons at your booth. The steaks (rib eye) and (churrascaro) were cooked to perfection; however, they got cold very quickly as they were served on plates rather than skillets. The side dishes (marbled and fingerling potatos) were tasty however I couldn't tell the difference between the two. They looked and tasted the same. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here. However, if you're on business and staying at the hotel and don't want to venture out, its a pretty decent meal.
This restaurant is set in a plaza; however, one should not be fooled by plaza setting. Inside is a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food here is simply outstanding. The Alfredo Saffron and Shrimp Black Pasta is a 5 star dish. It's one of the best dishes my wife has had. The Chicken Piccata Spaghetti with a lemon butter sauce was delicious; however the only reason for not giving this dish 5 stars is that the lemon flavor came primarily from the capers (of which there weren't enough). We shared a Caesar Salad which was fresh and lightly dressed. Overall, an excellent meal. Next time we are in the Fort Lauderdale/Plantation area, we would definitely return to this restaurant.
Consistency is this restaurant's strong point. We dine here regularly but hadn't been here in over a month. Suffice it to say that our party of 4 gave thumbs up for all the entrees. The restaurant will modify dishes to their patron's liking. The grilled salmon was cooked perfectly. Kudos to the restaurant for their consistency. It's why diners keep going back there.
Good value and decent menu options for different palates. Food is reliably good and consistent.
An absolute disaster. The cheddar omelette with Parmesan garlic potatoes was wonderful however the chicken club sandwich had no taste and was rather sparse. Two small pieces of chicken. The coffees served were lukewarm and had no flavor at all. Service was horrendous and very slow. The server asked us 3 times if we wanted water before it was served. I would avoid this location.
Simply outstanding!!! We loved the floor to ceiling windows and blue hue lighting. The windows overlooks LAS airport and one can see planes landing and/or taking off on parallel runways. The food was excellent and spiced perfectly for our palate. The Samosa Chat appetizer was wonderful. The Chicken Tikka succulent, tender and cooked to perfection. The Mango Lassi are delicious and thick. The Gulab Jamun tasted like what mom makes. Excellent meal overall. This was our first visit and definitely will not be the last. We will dine here again the next time we are in Vegas.

Dined here for lunch. The food is flavorful and tasty. Upon being seated one is served with chips and 3 types of salsa to suit all palates (from spicy to mild). The table was split on the shrimp ceviche - one person thought it was refreshing - the other felt the taste didn't quite mesh. Thumbs up for the tacos. Service was well timed. This was our first visit and although we liked our meal, I wouldn't go out of the way to dine here again.
This is our favorite place in Vegas. Every time we visit, dining at Olives is a must on the calendar. We wanted to sit outside however a private party occupied the place. Nonetheless we were seated next to the windows which gave us an excellent view of the Bellagio watershow fountains. On to the food. The table was unanimous on the Beef Carpaccio and Pan Seared Atlantic Salmon. The complimentary bread and olive tapenade (black and green) are wonderful. Highly recommended and look forward to returning again on our next visit.

Excellent overall. First visit to Larsen's and definitely not the last. We loved the industrial design and dark wood paneling which made for a warm environment. Our server Jeff was excellent and well versed with the menu. Our table was split on the steaks. The wet aged fillet mignon was tender, succulent, seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. The same cannot be said for the bone in rib eye. Although tender and cooked to order, it lacked seasoning. Thumbs up for the Chilean Miso Sea Bass. For dessert, the butter cake with strawberry compote and a scoop of ice cream was wonderful.
"
Regular diners (at least once a month). Excellent food as always and an enjoyable evening.
Some of the best middle eastern food we have had. The Hommus Kawarma and Batata Harra from the Hot Mezze were flavorful and delicious. The mixed grill platter (Shish Taouk, Chicken Kafta, Lamb Kafta and Lamb Fatayel) was enough to serve 2 adults and 1 13 year old. The meats were tasty and grilled to perfection. The seasonings were just right. We would definitely return to this restaurant the next time we are in London and experience some of the other dishes (Moroccan) on their menu. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
This restaurant has a relaxed feel. We would definitely return to try more dishes. The shrimp cocktail was amazing (very fresh). Our table was unanimous in giving all 3 main courses enthusiastic thumbs up. The branzino was excellent as were the mushroom mezzeluna and tagliatelle bolognese. All three entrees were piping hot and tasty. Service was a little disappointing although our server knew her menu very well.
This was our first visit and definitely won't be the last when we visit the area again. The appetizer Greek Avgolemono Chicken soup was simply delicious. Just the perfect hint of lemon without being too lemony. I have Greek friends and this soup tasted very much what my friends' mom makes. The lamb chops and chicken soulvaki entrees were tender, juicy and simply delicious. If you like Greek food, this is the place you want to go to.
I love the location of this restaurant right on the Alexandria waterfront. From our window table, we could see the lights of National Harbor and the new MGM casino as well as the Capitol Building. Of course, its also on the flight path to Reagan National which meant airlines coming into land every 45-50 seconds. As for the meals, three enthusiastic thumbs up from our party of 3 for the filet mignon, lemon herb crusted salmon and shrimp fresca. The filet-mignon was cooked to perfection (medium well). The lemon herb crusted salmon was excellent and just the right portion. We would definitely return to this restaurant when we are back in the area again.
Outstanding!! We dined here for Dad's 80th birthday. From the managers to our server, my dad was made to feel special. There was a birthday card on the table for my dad and the dessert (large carrot cake that our party of 7 shared) complimentary. The entrees 9 oz filet mignon, bone in ribeye and the rack of lamb were all cooked to perfection. The steaks were tender, juicy and melted in your mouth. Unlike other steak houses, the entrees come with a Texas sized glazed carrot and choice of starch (baked potato or sweet potato).
- Good for Birthdays
- Business Meals
Enthusiastic thumbs up. From the appetizers to the entrees - simply delicious. The Lahmacun appetizer (thin crusted Turkish pizza) pops with flavor. The Adana and Shish Kebab dinner entrees were tasty and cooked to perfection. The kebabs were tender. As with the appetizer, a little bit of fresh lemon squeezed on the kebabs and pizza brings out the flavors. The rolled Phyllo Borek appetizer was tasty but a little dry. It needed a dipping sauce. I've had lunch here on business trips but this was the first time I had dinner. Excellent Turkish food well deserving of its 5 star review.
- Outstanding Value
The hallmark of a good restaurant is consistency. Hadn't dined here in quite a while. Nonetheless the lunch combo 1/2 marguerite pizza and Caesar salad was as good as the last time I dined here. My colleagues Caesar salad with scallops was cooked to perfection. Two thumbs up!!!!
Disappointing. I've dined here many times and am always impressed with the consistency of the food. On this particular visit, the entrees/appetizers left much to be desired. Mango-habanero chicken wings lacked flavor (they were bland). The chicken Parmesan appetizer was short on chicken (one small piece) and heavy on the pasta. The fish and chips also tasted rather bland.

Simply Outstanding. The 24 oz bone in rib eye and 8 oz filet mignon were cooked to perfection. The desserts (canolis with fresh fruit and vanilla gelato with caramel sauce) get a thumbs up. The steaks are probably the best in the Boston/Providence area. We will definitely return again for a special occasion. Service was attentive but not intrusive.

Disappointing. After our 1st visit we were looking forward to dining here again. We were very disappointed with both the food and service. On our first visit the restaurant created a special dish (black pasta w/lobster). On this visit, no such special dishes. The only option would have been to order the lobster Fra Diavolo? In any event, we enjoyed our dishes (Monkfish Marsala over black pasta, shrimp & linguini) but they weren't as savory as our first time here. Don't know what the fuss is about black pasta. We sat outside on a very warm night. The server brought water but no ice. Our server was also very inattentive. We had to look for her and/or ask for her on several occasions. Overall, a disappointing experience compared to our first visit.

Excellent meal. Our party of three enjoyed the veal parmigiana, veal marsala and filet. Latter cooked to perfect (medium). The garlic herb butter was a perfect accompaniment along with the garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. The basil linguini served with the veal dishes was fresh and simply outstanding. We haven't been to this restaurant in a while but we will definitely be back.
Two thumbs up for the corriander crusted salmon with fennel slaw and balsamic reduction and the meat loaf. Both entrees were tasty and delicious. This is the first time I ate fennel slaw and it won't be the last. No matter how many times you come back to this location, the food is consistently good.

From the clam chowder to the shrimp cocktail to the lobster rolls, simply outstanding. The freshness of the seafood was evident in the lobster rolls. One could taste the ocean in the lobster. The rolls had generous amounts of lobster. Likewise, the clam chowder had big chunks of clams. The jumbo shrimp cocktail lived up to billing. The lobster roll is the best I've had.
This is a great place to watch sports events with the plethora of TVs available including the 3 big wall units except on a Wednesday night when they show kid's movies. Our party of 2 gave enthusiastic thumbs up for the fish & chips (batter not oily at all) and the bourbon dipped turkey tips. The food is consistent and the service is a little slow. Service has been that way since the place opened. The food was served piping hot.

Our party of 4 dined here on Friday night. We chose to sit outside as the noise level inside was not conducive to conversation. We enjoyed the cold and hot meze; however, the portions are small.. The spanakopita, skordalia were delicious. The latter is garlicky and made with local potatoes, almonds and garlic. The warm pita bread paired with a tomato dipping sauce was excellent. The grape leaves (dolmades) had raisins - an ingredient not normally found in domaldes, but nonetheless good. The main course Pikilia Kreaton (a selection of grilled meats) is more than enough for 2 or more. The souvlaki and lamb kofte were a little well done but tasty nonetheless. The chicken souvlaki was tender and absolutely delicious. Thumbs up overall.

I've dined at the Bobby Van's in NYC (Times Square). The consistency of the steaks is the same whether in NYC or in DC. Thumbs Up for the filet mignon which were both cooked to perfection (medium and medium rare) as well as the bone in rib-eye. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was disappointing. The shrimp were soggy and certainly not jumbo-sized. The sides of hash browns were tasty and even better the next day. We were seated in the outdoor patio on a beautiful night with a cool gentle breeze. If you can snag an outdoor seat, its well worth it especially on a cool night. Our server was excellent. Service was unobtrusive.
Thumbs up for the entrees. The grilled salmon, grilled mahi and steak were cooked to perfection. Both the salmon and mahi were flaky. The appetizers were a major disappointment. The crab tower lacked flavor and was awful notwithstanding outstanding presentation. The lobster mashed potatoes were basically mashed potatoes with lobster bisque soup poured over it. We had expected lobster meat mixed with the mashed potatoes. The Kentucky Smash, a bourbon based mojito like drink was good.

Two thumbs up overall for the entree selections - Mac/Cheese w/lobster and a cheeseburger. The latter is probably one of the best burgers I've eaten. Cooked to perfection and warm till the very last bite. We would definitely return to this restaurant again if we are in the Plymouth area.
Two thumbs up for the fish & chips. Fish cooked perfectly. Batter not oily at all. The food here is consistently very good; however, service could do with improvement. Since its inception, the service has always been slow and remains so.

Our party of three ordered 3 different entrees. Enthusiastic thumbs up for the filet mignon, New York strip sirloin and Delmonico. All steaks were cooked to perfection. Our server was excellent and very conscious of the time i.e. We had theater tickets. An excellent meal overall.
Best veal parmigiana I've had in this area. Thumbs up for chicken parmigiana too. Great food overall and excellent service. Lives up to reputation as best Italian restaurant.
I tried a new entree (from specials of the day). Thumbs up for the shaved prime rib sandwich with melted cheese.
This restaurant offers a dinner for 2 special for $40. The menu is limited of course, but the selections are outstanding. The clam chowder and lobster pappardelle were delicious. The chowder was thick with plenty of clams. The pappardelle had a nice buttery taste. For the entries, two thumbs up for the swordfish and the scallops which were both served over a bed of couscous. The service could be faster but there were only a few tables occupied in the restaurant. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Good food and a nice setting.

We dined here for lunch. The BBQ (brisket and ribs) were absolutely delicious. Tender and nice smoky flavor. The jalapeno corn bread appetizer is out of this world. Add a dab of honey and the flavors pop. If I am back in Dallas (Plano), I would most definitely choose to dine here again.
- Great for Lunch
We dined here on a Saturday which meant that 2 in our party chose the Prime Rib. The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly and packed flavor. The portions are very large and there was enough left over for dinner on Monday night as well as lunch today. Our out of town guest chose the backed stuff lobster and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our server, Zack was attentive without being obtrusive. Pay no attention to those reviews complaining of poor service. Our servers could not have been more friendly and cooperative.

Friday night is not ideal if you're looking for a quiet dinner. The place had an energetic vibe. We waited 45 minutes to be seated but the wait was worth it. The steaks (filet mignon and bone in ribeye) were perfectly cooked; however, the highly recommended potatoes au gratin were disappointing. As this was our anniversary celebration, we were able to seat on the outside deck (noise level decreased considerably) except for the concert next door. We received a complimentary dessert (cheesecake) for our anniversary. Our server Carlos brought the cake out with 2 candles.

The ceviche appetizer got mixed reviews from our party of 2. One liked the flavors while the other could not get past the aroma of the green olives permeating the appetizer. The guacamole prepared table side was excellent.
Had an excellent experience for belated anniversary dinner. Rose petals scattered on our table and a nice card for our anniversary. Perfectly cooked cowboy rib eye and petite filet served piping hot alongside gooey cheesy Potatoes Au Gratin. What more could you ask for.

In all the times I have dined here, I have never had a bad meal. The quality of the meals are consistently very good. The quesadila appetizer portion is large enough to have as an entree. Its flavorful. One thing hasn't changed. When the restaurant is busy, it can take longer than usual for food to brought to the table.

Both entrees (bone in ribeye and filet mignon) were cooked to perfection. The steaks remained warm throughout our meal. We wisely chose to order one colossal shrimp each to start with. We chose correctly as the shrimp were indeed colossal. The cocktail sauce accompanying the shrimp had just the right amount of horse radish. Service was attentive but not intrusive.

This restaurant is located in the Courtyard Hotel in Stamford, CT. Its a good stop enroute to NYC. The entrees were delicious. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for the Bolognaise and the roasted Halibut. The portions were perfect - not too small nor gargantuan - enought to satisfy the palete. Service left much to be desired. Our original server was not the same server who took our order and served us. Service staff inattentive. One of our party had to get up and ask a busboy for more bread. Service nothwitstanding, the food here is delicious and well worth a return visit.

We returned to this location after several weeks. The bread, oil and cheese were delicious as always with the bread having a lighter taste to it. The balsamic glazed salmon with asparagus and jasmine rice was cooked to perfection. Kudos to the restaurant for improvisation. The manager brought wontons to add to crunchiness of the salad with quinoa, green apple and pistacchio. Our server was attentive without being intrusive.

I love the spaciousness of this restaurant. At our request, we were seated in the coolest part of the restaurant where the air conditioning was working. The chicken kebab with rice was served piping hot with the chicken perfectly seasoned and cooked. If you have a craving for Greek cuisine, this restaurant is a good place to start.

This restaurant tries its best to provide authentic Turkish cuisine. I was very disappointed to learn that they don't serve bulghur with their entrees. The entrees were tasty however the baklava was a bit disappointing. I would recommend this restaurant but in my travels, I have had better Turkish cuisine.
We are regulars here i.e. once every 2 weeks or every week. Given the raw weather outside, I tried a new dish - the pot roast dinner. This meal was perfectly cooked with tender meat (used a fork only), potatos and carrots. This dish was a perfect compliment to the French Onion soup.
Come on an empty stomach otherwise you will not be able to enjoy the wide variety of meats offered as well as a splendid salad bar. The sirloin with the garlic and the leg of lamb were my favorites. The salad bar is varied and contains all the side dishes that one needs from black beans to yucca. I'm glad we don't have to drive all the way to Braintree for a Brazilian steakhouse. This restaurant is as good as some of the national Brazilian steakhouse chains e.g. Fogo de Chao.

We stopped for dinner on a Sunday evening on our way back from NYC. This was our first visit to this hidden gem and definitely not the last. It's located about 15 minutes from Foxwoods and/or Mohegan Sun. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up for the grilled flat iron steak. The steak was tender, cooked to perfection and melted in one's mouth. The burger was probably one of the best I've had. Flavorful and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is set in the Marriott Mystic hotel in Groton CT. Excellent meal and a must stop to and/or from NYC.
Poor service marred our first visit to this restaurant. We ordered both entrees mild - the chiken tikka was delicious, tender and mildly spiced. The lamb biryani was very spicy and the entree had to be sent back and remade. The remade version was mildly spiced but our server forgot to bring out plain yogurt/raita as he had promised. The mango lassis were thick and delicious. We chose to forego dessert. The server and/or manager even argued with us over crediting Open Table points. We had made a reservation for 3 but one entree was shared, so the restaurant changed our reservation to a party of 2 so as to avoid paying Open Table the extra dollars for a 3d party. It is not often that I don't recommend a restaurant but this is an exception. Overall - a thumbs down experience. Recommended only if one want truly spicy food.
2nd visit to Morello's on our way to New York. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up. All the entrees were cooked to perfection - arctic char, brasied beef short rib and bolognaise. The potato leek soup with chive aoli was smooth and savory. This restaurant has become a favorite of ours and a must stop enroute to New York.

In all the time we've dined at this location of NYAJ, never have I experienced such poor service. Our waiter didn't take our drinks order upon greeting us. There were lengthy delays in getting the food out resulting in warm appetizers and warm entrees. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this is rather unusual as service is generally very good and the food served. As for the quality of food, very good and tasty. Perhaps we caught the restaurant on a very busy Monday night.

We ordered the filet mignon and the Cowboy Ribeye. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. Kudos to the server for finding another Malbec when the one on the menu was no longer available. From the appetizers to the entrees, all the dishes get an enthusiastic two thumbs up. The sauces accompanying the entrees were very flavorful. The service was fantastic. My wife was dissappointed that steak frites were not on the menu. Max - our waiter - brought steak frites for her from the sister restaurant (Revolving Door) on the house. Portions were perfect. I had room to enjoy the creme brulee. If you choose to dine at this restaurant, ask to be seated where Max is tending to diners.

The steakhouse has premium prices but the quality is not the same. The garlic bread appetizer was delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection albeit after the filet mignon had to be sent back because it was not medium rare. The chimichurri sauce lacked flavor. The decor is nice and not the atypical dark steakhouse. The service was poor. Our server did not come by to ask if our steaks were cooked properly. One of our party had to flag down a manager. The lobster mashed potatoes is a side I would recomend. It comes with big chunks of lobster meat.
The wine selection is good. The Francis Coppola Preserve is an excellent red wine for steaks.

Mixed reviews from our party of 3. The rib-eye was delicious and very flavorful; however, the lamb gyro (which 2 in the party had) left much to be desired. The lamb kefta filling lacked flavor/seasoning. The french fries and salad accompanying the gyro were delicous. The service was poor - our server did know the size of the rib-eye and had to ask someone. Further, instead of giving us 3 dessert menus - she gave us one. I wouldn't go out of my way to this restaurant.

This restaurant states it is the best Indian food in Richmond. It lives up to its billing. The chicken tikka was not on the menu; nonetheless, I had the most succulent and tender chicken tikka that popped with flavor. I would definitely come back to this restaurant again.
If traditional Indian food is what you're craving this is not the place to come to. The nouveau Indian cuisine is tasty and flavorful but it doesn't have the explosion of flavors and spice one gets with the more traditional Indian restaurants. The chicken tikka lacked the tandoori spices I am accustomed to. However, the naan bread was simply outstanding. It's the best I've had anywhere in Canada or the United States. It pops with flavor (you can taste the butter in it). The gulab jamun was perfect. Not too sweet.
We stopped here en-route to New York from Providence. From the bread sticks to the entrées, the dishes were simply outstanding. Enthusiastic thumbs up for the Halibut poached in parchment paper with carrots, corn, zucchini and lemon juice and the bolognaise. The portions were just right i.e. not too small nor too big. An outstanding meal overall. We will definitely be returning to this location. If you're driving to New York, its well worth it to stop here for dinner and/or lunch. The
I was a little skeptical going to this restaurant because of its mixed reviews. However, it was the only option available for a party of 9. We were seated immediately. The BBQ spare ribs were a hit as were the cajun inspired catfish dishes. This restaurant is a good option for those wanting a flavor of Bourbon Street. There is window that you can step out to the balcony and observe the going ons on Bourbon Street.
This restaurant keeps its words. A couple of years ago, my wife received a card from the owner re complimentary dinner. Although she did not have the card on her person for our lunch visit, she retold the story. When we received our bill, my wife's entree was complimentary. The food here is very good. Thumbs up for both the burger (cooked to perfection and seasoned) as well as the chicken. If you order desser, the bananas foster is to die for. It is prepared tableside.
We are regular diners here and the food and service here is consistent and very good. I tried one of the new entrees, the Caribbean Salmon with tomato chutney. The salmon packed a perfect punch (not too spicy) and the tomato chutney has bits of mango give it a salsa like texture. Thumbs up for my new favorite dish here.
Unanimous thumbs up from our party of four from the appetizers to the entrees. With this restaurant's focus on locally grown, caught and raised products, the quality and freshness of ingredients is evident The Margarita pizza, veal and chicken parmiagiano burst with flavor. The filet mignon special was cooked to perfection. No need to travel Federal Hill in Providence for good Italian food.
From the food (2 big family platters) to the entertainment (George Malouf), Byblos hit a home run this particular evening.
Our party of 4 was unanimous on the prime rib special and fish and chips. For dessert, the special lemoncello cake with lemon marscapone icing and white chocolate was absolutely superb. The cake was very moist. As always, the choclate lava cake and the beignets were a hit.

This was an encore dine i.e. 2nd in 4 days. This time I opted for the Salmon with grilled asparagus spears. The salmon was fresh and tasty as were the shrimp cocktail appetizer and garden salad. The shrimp are jumbo sized and the garden salad enough for 2 persons.
This is the second time I've dined at Sullivan's. The first time was in Anchorage several years ago. This location in Omaha lived up to its billing. The prix fixe dinner offers 5 choices of appetizers, soup and/or salads and 4 entries. The jumbo shrimp cocktail were delicious and the 6 oz filet mignon delicious and cooked to perfection. Tiffany was our server and I would recommend her for knowledge of her wines and professionalism.

Since we were stranded in Chicago for 2 days, we decided to go to Chopal for dinner. We were the only customers on a very cold night in Chicago (Jan 3). I had last been to this restaurant in 2010. Suffice it to say that the consistency of the food is remarkable. The lamb/goat biryani and the combo chicken kebab and boti kebab platter were outstanding. The mango lassis served in a refrigerated tajin pot were outstanding with enough left to take back to our hotel in to go cups. The hostess served us a complimentay hot soup (akin to egg drop soup) with accompaniments that enhanced the flavor of the soup (onions/green chile).

Thumbs up for the shrimp cocktail, mussles and wild Alaskan Salmon; however, service left much to be desired. The mashed potatoes were luke warm and appeared to be a combination of instant and real potatoes. Our water glasses were never re-filled and no one asked if anyone wanted a refill on the coffee. Dessert too drew mixed reviews. The cheesecake got a thumbs up, however, the strawberry shortcake was inedible.
