THE REStaurant was difficult to find. The address is deceiving and the signage is not existent. Even once in the building, there is no clear instructions how to link the elevator numbers to getting to the restaurant. Once in the restaurant the atmosphere is great and the service is friendly. However, for the lunch the menu is very very limited: 4 sandwiches and two salads, 4 appetizers. the bar was well stocked.

Woodward's menu was conservative and limited. I was surprised because as a former employee at Millennium Challenge Corporation (2009-2011) a half block away, we would have lunch or dinner for our special occasions at Woodward's. The food was very good, even the piazza were flavorful.

However December 26 was different. There were only 6 or seven entrees. I ordered wine by the glass, a Malbec. Perhaps the wine bottle was uncorked for awhile, because the wine was tasteless. My guest had fried chicken. I had grits and shrimp. The grits did not have enough cheddar cheese to even get a taste of cheese. The shrimp were 32 count/pound size and were slightly overcooked. The fried chicken portions were generous, a complete half chicken.

Frankly, I was surprised at the conservative depth of the menu as well as the blandness of the food. Even dessert, sweet potato creme brûlée severely lack flavor. You could not discern the taste of the sweet potato in the dessert.

Logan was a basic American restaurant and there is nothing wrong with that. Would I recommend it to my foodie friends? No. Would I recommend it to folks who are hungry and looking for a convenient place to dine that is not too expensive? Yes. Logan is spacious, the food is sort of what you expect in a diner. We were two for dinner and there was only one waiter for the entire second room which had 8 or 9 tables. Needless to say, the waiter did not have time to focus on any one table well. The appetizer, ginger calamari was spicy but dry, over cooked. The smoked pork shank was stringy but smokey. My chop salad with shrimp was lettuce, 4 medium size shrimp and a few slices of avocado and half a boiled egg served on a breakfast plate. In sum, it was a mediocre meal.

the food and drinks were superb: grilled salmon over a double caesar salad was perfect accompanied with a Kentucky mule. My friend had an angus cheese burger, fries and an "angry" cider.

The cider was not the only angry one in the room. Across from our table was a family with two small girls who were out of control (running around their table) and squealed at the top of their lungs for over 30 minutes. It was impossible to have a conversation with the squealing children and the parents watching their children as if they were watching a new movie. When they finally left, we were deaf.

Lucky for us the food and drinks were good.

I regretfully submit this review. My 4th time eating at DelFrisco's was frankly horrible. The seating was great, but the service and food left me embarrassed as my guests are foodies from Seattle. First, the appetizers we ordered seafood and the stone crabs had an ammonia smell and taste. No options were presented to replace the stone crabs. Secondly, the main course: my 3 guests ordered steaks and I ordered seared tuna. The two steaks were dry and slightly warm. My seared tuna came with a sweet cream sauce. We were shocked. Thirdly, when the main course came, the server told his colleagues where to place our orders, which were not matched up. Since the plates were very hot, we asked the server to switch the orders to the correct persons. He says, "Oh no, no, this is what you ordered." I asked him to look at his written order sheet which he looked at me like I was trying to pull a fast one on him. Finally he took it out, read it and switched our plates around to where they belonged. With the steaks were ordered steamed spinach, onion rings and sauté mushrooms with onion. The onion rings were dripping with oil, stacked on top of each other. I ordered a green salad. Period. He I received, a salad that was a mix of romaine and bibb lettuce and two large strips of cold, hard bacon on top. I remained quiet. One person wanted a cup of tea, the waiter came back and said there is only a green (unknown) and black Earl Grey choices. She took the green tea. When it was time for dessert, we all looked at each other and declined. The bill was $485. Our bottle of red wine was $85. The wine was the best part of the meal. Needless to say, I will be very cautious to invite other foodie friends to Delfrisco's again. For drinks and snacks, ok.

The food was without taste, bland. We had calamari and asparagus for starters. The asparagus was large, thick and tough. Calamari while tender were void of flavor. We both had duck à l'orange. The sauce was more barbecue sauce than orange sauce. The duck breast was limp and once again no flavor. We both had a South African Mulderbosch wine. It was delightful .

Beet salad and duck..... both were excellent. The wine... not so good. I started with a Pinot Noir which was one level above water. When it was poured into the wine glass from a .8 carat, the wine barely over a one finger from the bottle of the glass. I ordered, after the starter, a petit sirrah . While the quality of the wine was far better, a beautiful full body wine, after four sips the glass was empty. In all my years since 1984 in DC I have never seen a glass of wine at $14 with so little quantity.

the food was asian, fresh, hot and the service was quick yet inviting. We took our time and chatted and there was no rush to get you out. And as importantly, the portions were generous and not expensive. I live near Sticky Rice. I will return.

As I have eaten at Grilfish a couple of years ago, I knew of the great quality of the food prepared. Thus it was no surprise that we were satisfied.

Got the impression that Ocopa was a new restaurant until I read it opened two years ago. The waiters were young and untrained. Bathroom lacked paper towel or an air dryer. While the food came with much hype from the manager, the meals were bland and uneventful. On the menu shrimp "escavitche" was listed however, they were out of shrimp and thus substituted the shrimp for fish. The dish was bland.( FYI, there was only one other customer in the restaurant seated at the bar)

Chicken and waffles were on the brunch menu since the manager promoted this dish as "my own creation". I sent my waffles back as they were ice cold. The waffles returned with syrup dripping off the plate and onto the floor. Luckily for me we were four friends who had not seen each other in a couple of years, so we agreed to overlook the food and drink red wine and catch up.

We were on our way to Atlas Theatre and reserved a table at DC Harvest. Food was amazing and

the waiter was helpful and attentive without too much. My beef brisket melted, literally, in my mouth. Another friend had seared cat fish which was equally delicious. My appetizer was over the top, smoked quail. With a hint of honey, the quail was moist, tender and full of flavor. And the red wine, whose name I don't remember, complemented the quail, fish and beef brisket!!

Yes, all three of us said we would return to DC Harvest.

Accompanied by informative and attentive service, the Ahi tuna and arugula starter set the stage for a fantastic meal. Coached on the extensive wine list, the Tuscany red not only complemented the first dish, but added the richness of the main course --cannoli with mascopone and mushroom in a light tomato based sauce left my taste buds giving a standing ovation.
