Great food and service...very much appreciated the “Happy Birthday” on the menu and dessert for my friend’s birthday!
We had brunch at St. Anselm on a Sunday...we enjoyed the ambience and the pleasant service but our food took too long to arrive and my oysters and grits arrived cold—I had to send it back.

Outstanding in every way! Sheryl provided incredible service and Ryan from the Passion Food Group stopped at the table to see how we were enjoying our meal! Very much appreciated! At the end of the meal, the restaurant brought out a small plate of dessert goodies! WOW!!
Outstanding in every way!! Delia’s service was memorable! Do not dine at the Peninsula without having the Ultimate Coconut Cake!!! Incredible!!!
Outstanding!
Outstanding!!
Terrific!!
The Sunday buffet looked dried out and very unappealing so we ordered from the menu...the bronzino was excellent along with well-cooked vegetables and basmati rice...the Virgin Mary with Old Bay spicing was not good at all and the recipe should be changed.
Excellent location for Kennedy Center pre-theater...good not outstanding food but MUCH better than KC...attentive service...added bonus: parking...only $12 as a diner vs. KC at an exorbitant $23.
Great Sunday Brunch! I had the excellent omelette and my wife had the white fish salad.
Fabulous!!!
OUTSTANDING!!!
My friends and I were in Puerto Vallarta for three weeks, dining out virtually every night. We went to many of Trip Advisors top-rated restaurants. But, Trio was #1! (No Way José was #2). Food, service and ambience were definitely the best in PV. My friends each had the chili-flavored red snapper; I had the Caesar salad and calamari appetizer—all wonderful. The cream cheese with peanut spread with bread and seeded crackers was also excellent. No room for dessert!
Beautiful place to have dinner out in the garden...
La Palapa is one of the outstanding dining experiences in Puerto Vallarta—beautiful ambience on the beach, excellent food and service, and delightful music while eating. Highly recommended,
We have been to The Kliff several times over three years but this time was the best—the food has improved and the service is excellent, the location outstanding!
Excellent restaurant...I had the Chicken Breast Medallions, juicy and delicious...friends had Catch of the Day (red snapper) and enjoyed it very much...first class service

Proof provides very good, tasty and interesting fare...recommend the Shrimpburger....since Del Mar gets the outstandings in every category, Proof is very good.

Scarlatto is an excellent restaurant in the middle of the theatre district across from the Barrymore Theatre. All four of us greatly enjoyed our meals—I asked the restaurant to prepare linguine carbonara, they did and it was outstanding! The one drawback: Scarlatto was extremely noisy pre-theater when it was completely full.
Oceana was terrific for a modest meal before a show at the Cort Theater, one block away. The squash tortellini were outstanding!!! The service (Jason) was very friendly and accommodating in every way!

I saw Silo on a list of brunch places and we decided to try it. It is located between K and Massachusetts Avenue NW between Mt. Vernon Square and Union Station.
Both my wife and I had the Shakshuka, a baked egg dish in a spicy Middle Eastern tomato sauce...excellent with crispy roast potatoes!
The service by Jeremy was superb!

The Wharf had been one of our favorite restaurants so we invited close friends to join us for Restaurant Week there. It took almost an hour to get our entrees! The appetizer I ordered --an avocado with Tuna Poke and mango --was super small with hardly any tuna or fruit. The bread pudding dessert was tasteless.
Once the entrees arrived, we enjoyed them. The service overall was quite amateurish.
Uneven food and service...for Restaurant Week, Cheesetique offered three paltry wedges of cheese/pate to be shared by TWO people; the grilled pimento sandwich was soggy in the middle...the chocolate mousse which was also shared was delicious but is it healthful to REQUIRE guests to share a dessert?
It's great to have an excellent fine dining option near the Kennedy Center. Kingbird fills the bill...excellent food, an energetic, young waitstaff, and an ambience that includes views of the Potomac. I had the braised lamb and pasta dish--listed under starters but more than enough--and my friends were pleased with the seasonal rockfish.
Bricco is a great combination of a chic Italian restaurant and a neighborhood place. Excellent food, service in a cozy atmosphere.

Outstanding restaurant in Old Town...the squab with orange sauce was wonderful along with the "48-hour " apple dessert. Excellent service by Deborah and team.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Our server, Marien, was outstanding! Highly recommend IS noisy and not easy to hear!
Outstanding! Liz, our primary server, was wonderfully attentive. Gorgeous floral arrangements and incredibly creative, delicious food!
Outstanding in every way!!!
Great as always!!!
Interesting but nothing special
Very good place...on the noisy side.
Food always interesting and excellent! Had the zucchini burger with red pepper sauce...great...and Balkan pudding, also delicious
Excellent for brunch! The Brasserie Benedict was especially good!
Everything was superlative!
Excellent neighborhood place...excellent food, service...nice ambiance
We had a 2 pm reservation and were seated early. It took awhile to have our order taken, and the restaurant proceeded to lose it! Ultimately, the order came slightly wrong--cheeseburger with brie without the cheese, grilled cheese with bacon without the bacon. The food tasted okay and the restaurant did try to make amends with some complimentary cheese tastes.
Everything was excellent! Try the artichokes and the paella!
Fantastic!
If you are seeking a cuisine you might not have tried before, Ambar's Balkan tapas restaurant would be an excellent choice on 8th St, SE. We had the Almond Crusted Chicken, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, and Stuffed Cabbage, all tasty and delicious.

The Whart is simply a superb restaurant all way around..terrific food, great service and a delghtful historic and quiet atmosphere. Try the hot appetizer with fritters, calamari, baked oysters, etc Wonderful. I was with a party of 4 and each of us had a different entree and eveyone was thrilled with his or her choice.

Without Mel, a three. With Mel, a ten!
Always excellent for breakfast.

Great place but needs to change and update menu.
Absolutely awful for breakfast. On top of a bad buffet, the restaurant automatically added a 20% tip! IN VERY SMALL PRINT! Then, they totaled the amount and added a line for another tip!! So, if one was not careful, you could be paying TWO TIPS for virtually NO service!. Extremely poor!!
Great Service and excellent food! Go!

While the Oval Room may have a good reputation overall, their Cobb salad leaves a great deal to be desired...it is mostly large pieces of lettuce and a chunk of chicken with very little else...disappointing to say the least.

Zola is a good, steady place to have lunch in the Penn Quarter. The service was especially attentive.

Restaurant Week at Kincaid's was disappointing...the mussels were extremely hard to remove from their shells and were overwhelmed by a curry sauce (which by itself was delicious).. The ice cream served with the molten chocolate cake was served half melted.

The service was really disjointed at Equinox...the waitress served an entree salad to a guest 15 minutes before everyone else's food was served..there were other glitches of this kind throughout the meal...the food was tasty, if not spectacular...but certainly Equinox is no longer a top restaurant worthy of a regular visit.
This was my first time at Restaurant Eve for a birthday lunch with a close friend. Everything was excellent, food, service and ambience. It deserves it high rating in the region.

Although La Chaumiere has been a Washington standby for a long time, I had never been there and was delighted with the "find"! The food and ambience were terrific, the service fine and attentive. The noise level is high and energetic as the restaurnant was completely full on a Wednesday evening. The owner, Martin Lumet, was welcoming and hospitable.
Mel and Amanda make coming to McCormick & Schmick a delightful experience. Great food and service, tables at a comfortable distance from one another and a welcoming ambience all contribute to a super dining experience!

The experience at 1905 was quite uneven. We were seated at a table near an air conditioning duct and a speaker. The candles at our table kept blowing out which was annoying. The music played (until we complained) was extremely loud and rather fast jazz, hardly the kind to dine by. The food was good..we ordered the special but the waiter did not tell us the price which turned out to be 50% more than anything on the printed menu. Nice ambience.

The Blue Duck Tavern is a superb restaurant with first class food and excellent service. It deserves the highest ratings.
One pique..we reserved for 5 people but one of our family members became ill in the afternoon so we arrived with 4. Initially, we were seated at a table for 4, then abruptly moved to a larger table..the restaurant claimed that the entire restaurant had been reserved. For the entire 2 hours we were in the dining room, at least 3 tables for 4 went unoccupied...it seemed a little disingenuous to move us, in retrospect.

Ceiba remains an excellent restaurant.
I found my experience very disappointing. Although at lunch, the restaurant was extremely noisy to a point it was difficult to hear the waiter. I ordered the Thai chicken salad which was virtually tasteless, not what I expected from the "hype" this restaurant has received.

McCormick & Schmick is a great restaurant and I frequent their DC location quite often. This was the first time in Arlington and equally good. One minor flaw: They have a daily menu but when I ordered something from it on Sunday night (SF seafood stew), they were "out" of it...not good.
