Dimmi Bar & Trattoria is a popular Italian restaurant. Youll always find a comfortable seat in the spacious open dining room, which is embellished with wood, stone and leather. For a more casual experience, you can relax and enjoy a drink on a leather banquette in the bar and lounge area. When the weather is nice, Dimmi Bar & Trattoria offers tables on the patio where you can enjoy some fresh air with your meal.
The menu at Dimmi Bar & Trattoria includes a large selection of authentic Italian appetizers and salads, popular pizzas, hot sandwiches and pasta and risotto dishes. You can also find special plates like roasted chicken breast and veal Milanese. Every day, the restaurant features a freshly prepared fish dish of the day, as well as the chefs meat recommendation.
This is my favourite restaurant and probably always will be. I dine at Dimmi at least once a week! All the staff are amazing and funny. More importantly the food is amazing from pizza to pasta to fish to risotto you are sure to enjoy a delicious meal! Highly recommended.
Delicious pizza and pasta! Cute little spot.
Always reliable and dependable. Raymond and Les are great hosts and always make you feel welcome. Food is always consistent for the price point. A great place to drop in for a dish of pasta, a pizza or the special of the day. There is a small front patio of the hot summer day or the side patio on Yorke Lane for a quieter time. Staff are friendly and efficient. Lots of hard surfaces so it can get noisy if it is full.
We enjoyed our lunch at Dimmi Bar and Trattoria. We were visiting the ROM, and it was very close by, so very convenient for us. The food was great - and very reasonable prices. We both had the scallop appetizer which was excellent! Perfectly cooked scallops, and a tasty puree accompanying them. Our pastas were very good too. The service was the only problem. My daughter has allergies, and the server was not at all helpful. When she told the server about her allergies, she said, oh, you should just stick with the sandwiches, but they would have to be plain. (Not very appealing!) I asked if they had any egg-free pastas, she said "Oh, I don't think so". I asked her to check, and they did. My daughter's pasta arabiatta was great!
We loved the pizza, mussels, caprese salad, and sticky toffee pudding. Servers were on top of things and made my friend's bday special.
Looking forward to trying a pasta next time!
