The view is amazing, staff was very friendly and helpful. The New York Strip and Fillet Mignon was delicious.
Food was amazing. Was a great place to celebrate our wedding anniversary
The view of great. None of my request were met by making the reservation through open table. I requested outside seating and that was not provided. In the notes I wrote a note that it was an Anniversary celebration... the waiter had no idea and I had to tell him myself. I was disappointed in the lack of dress code some guest wearing jeans, shorts, and baseball hats. Very loud with intoxicated guest speaking super loud. I wouldn’t go back here to dine. Possibly would visit for an outside drink. Disappointed like I said with the entire vibe. I expected a more fancy setting especially since the food is priced so high.
Excellent food and exceptional view. One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to.
The food the service the ambiance was just simply outstanding! I did this with my wife for my birthday and I think this is a must do if ever in Phoenix.
The entire staff from valet to all servers to hostess were friendly, welcoming and accommodating.
The view, of course, is incredibly beautiful.
The food was spectacular.... every bite was bursting with flavor. Our entrees were (specials of the evening) perfectly seasoned and completely delicious. My husband and I felt that although the entrees were not inexpensive, the flavors, freshness, entree size and presentation made this meal a good value for the money.
I have a certificate from The Cordon Bleu, used to own a catering business and highly recommend A Different Pointe of View. I have been fortunate enough to have eaten at some of the finest restaurants around the world and this is one of them. Kudos to the chef and his kitchen!
It was an amazing view !! Food was awesome !!
Amazing experience. Phoenix New Times was right through and through.
Just make sure you call in any special requests - they do not respect any comments left when booking online, which makes the whole online booking process kind of superfluous, as you have to call in anyway..
It was a good experience. The wait time for a table was a bit longer than expected but we did request a table with a view. Our waiter was very nice but we did wait an unusually amount of time for our meals. The waiter rarely checked in on us and it did take longer than expected to get our drinks. But the food was good, and the view was very pretty.
We dined on November 2, 2019. This was our second seating with the last in 2013. The ambiance and scenery were incredible. The sunset was beautiful. Lounge service was excellent. They were not able to seat us at our reservation time but the lounge experience compensated. The food and dining service was excellent. We will return in the future and highly recommend this venue for anyone visiting Phoenix.
Excellent view and ambiance.
Amazing experience. One of the best restaurants we have ever been to for our anniversary! The view was spectacular but the food was so artful and cooked perfectly. We have never had a chef be able to cook a thick filet the way we like with butterflying it . It was perfect! My husband says it was the best filet he has ever gotten and he travels around the world . My shrimp dish was spectacular also and we travel to San Diego and Florida often for seafood. Will never forget our experience and plan to be back. Our waiter , Richard, offered to take us outside for pictures . He made sure everything was perfect . And sent us home with the most amazing chocolate piece of art for our anniversary as we were stuffed from our meal. Top notch in every aspect - food, ambience, service and everything in-between!
View is awesome and unique. Food is good, not great. Very pricey. Service was just okay.
This place was honestly amazing. The service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and helpful. The food was WOW! It was so tasteful and savory. My significant other and I will be making this our favorite place to go for fine dining! Also the cheese cake for desert was absolutely one of the best we have ever had. Kudos to the restaurant! I can see why they have so many awards.
This restaurant is definitely different, primarily because of its location. For our second visit, again, the service was very friendly and extremely professional. While recipes are not necessarily all to my personal taste, the food is very good and very well prepared. Good wine list with a rather limited selection of "wine by the glass". With these comments, I would recommend the place without hesitation.
It was a Birthday dinner for my husband. We enjoyed the scenic view and the romantic Atmosphere. Our waiter Luis made us feel right at home with his kind and cultural energy. Everything was better than I expected. We will definitely be coming here again. Thank you Luis and staff for remembering it was my husband's birthday and wishing him well from the moment we sat down to the moment we left the restaurant.
Beautiful view, excellent service and delicious food. Very relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Especially enjoyed the bisque, unique salad choices, ravioli and short ribs.
Fabulous views for miles and a delicious menu combined with a waiter who was fun and capable made up for the kitchen’s unevenness. The food was delicious, but perhaps they needed to hatch the duck, raise it, kill it, then cook it while we waited. It didn’t matter as much because it truly is a spectacular setting. And Nash, our waiter, made it all better with his humor and dessert choices. We’re already planning to go back.
Just a great view, great service, delicious food, great wine list. Had a lovely evening.
incredible service. incredible food. incredible atmosphere!!!
Birthday celebration with girlfriends.
Food varied from excellent (pork belly) to over cooked (pork chop) to undercooked (lobster tail). In fairness the waiter offered to redo the pork. The problem with the lobster was not noticed until later and we just let it go. We were disappointed but had some warning from earlier reviews. The just shy of $285 for two with tip would have been fine if the food had been consistently excellent.
Service, views and food were outstanding! We dined after sunset and the lights of the city were beautiful. I bet it’s breathtaking at sunset!
View was gorgeous, food was great, service was disappointing, took close to 40 min after ordering for food for it to arrive, was never asked if I wanted a refill of my drink that sat empty almost half of my meal.
Fantastic experience for special occassions. We did the Chef Menu - five courses of perfection. Attentive and professional staff. Pricey - but perfect for anniversary or milestone birthdays.
For the view, but not the food.
The service was good, but that is expected at such a place.
Menu very limited.
Not worth it. Maybe 20 years ago.
A total 5 star experience (as always)!
Exceptional dining experience!! Very nice for special occasions.
We go to A different point of view often and it is always a beautiful setting and excellent food.
Perfect for a romantic occasion because of the stunning view. Go early to get a good seat for the sunset.
Very good! Extra special treatment! Didn’t like the view. Nothing you could do about that. The smog isn’t in your area of control!!
I sent my parents to Different Pointe of View for their 27th wedding anniversary and they had an incredible time. The staff was more than accommodating while I was booking their reservation. My parents had nothing but positive things to say about their experience.
Thanks for helping make their celebration enjoyable!!
An excellent experience, wonderful food, and amazing view
Brian, John and Tunde were all attentive, informed servers. The view, rising moon and sunset were priceless. We even stayed at the downstairs patio for an after dinner drink by the fountain.
We requested a seat by the window to enjoy the view at night. The only thing better than the view was the food and service from Ian. Thank you for an excellent 25th anniversary dinner.
Breath taking views, fabulous food and outstanding service. Cash Taylor was our host and was delightful. Friendly, professional and made our evening dining experience one of our very best!
This place was very comforting for a romantic night. I've been in the dog house for a while now and this place was my golden ticket to get out. Nash the waiter didnt just attend us with proper services but was also a comedian. This place is a must for a romantic night out. You will make a statement using this place.
The restaurant has an outstanding location with views of Phoenix. The service is impeccable and friendly. Overall prices are reasonable. The food is very good prepared with high quality ingredients. However not to my taste: too many ingredients in dishes that are prepared with complicated recipes.
