With over 30 years of tradition, this local favorite lavish buffet never disappoints! Celebrate with your family and make reservations while they are still available.

This restaurant is located on an amazing piece of property with gorgeous views. The drinks were good and the food delicious. Well worth it.
The setting was very nice - good views of the city of Phoenix. I was wishing we had come earlier than our 6:00 reservation to enjoy a drink on the patio. The menu was somewhat limited but I believe most people could find something they wanted. Portions were small - relative to the pricing. Interesting preparation of the dishes - might not appeal to those with a less than sophisticated palate. Service was topnotch.
Great food and service. Our server Larry was amazing and we had a wonderful time.
Took my wife to DPOV for her birthday. The ambiance was cozy, the view was incredible, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. Great place for a special occasion. One tip: if you can when making a reservation, look up the sunset time of the day and set your reservation about 15 minutes prior. The sky and the city are gorgeous as it transitions from dusk to night.
This is our 7th time dining at Different Point of View over the last couple years. It never disappoints. We enjoy the easy-does-it atmosphere, service, the delicious meals & the Creme Brulee!
Fantastic meal, I try to come here when ever in town. Always have the Chefs sample and always been very impressed with the food and preparation. Best food and view in the country as far as I am concerned. Great service and people that care you have a great experience. All the way from parking your car to explaining your meal preparation.
This restaurant is in a beautiful setting and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The food was delicious (husband had sea bass, niece had scallops and I had shrimp) all very good. We could hear ourselves easily in conversation. this is a romantic spot.
I had the experience of a life time! We couldn't decide on what to eat, because everything on the menu caught our eye. So we decided on the 5 course meal selected by the chef. In my opinion, it was worth it. I did the wine pairing also. Our server Ian was phenomenal. His education to us on the wines they selected for us was an experience. He explained how each wine was made and what made them different from the other. I am not a huge wine person, but his expertise drove me towards enjoying it a little more in many different ways. The atmosphere is what brought me to this restaurant in the first place. A modern facility with the greatest view I have ever had for a dining experience. An overlook of Arizona while dining with your friends, family or the one you love is certainly and experience of a life time. The food that they served us was very unique. The flavor was all there. I would definitely come back to this restaurant in the future. Thank you again to our waiter Ian for the great experience!
Food took too long to come of kitchen , even for apitizers we waited too long, entrees took an hour
Best view of the Phoenix Valley. Great food, service and atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.
Waited over an hour for our reserved table. Extremely loud restaurant with horribly bright track lighting over every table. Food was wonderful and servers were very good but way too over crowded and loud-wouldn’t go again.
Food was not evenly cooked or seasoned properly. Unless you are sitting by the window, there is no ambience. The service was extremely slow. I don’t recommend this place for any occasion.
The view was spectacular but the service was ridiculously slow. It took us 2.5 hours to have dinner, most of which was spent waiting for service or food. The food was great but luke warm by the time it got to us. Luckily the view kept us company.
Fabulous view great food& service
I made a reservation and requested a table by the window to celebrate my husbands birthday. When i called to confirm the lady i spoke with assured me that we would have a cozy table by the window for the optimal view. Instead, we were sat at the top closest to the kitchen door where the noise was really loud. My chair was facing a cinderblock planter with tall plants in it so I couldn’t even see the view. Very disappointed especially since there were open tables by the window.
The setting is spectacular! The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. All of our dinners were excellently prepared and looked as good as they tasted without being over the top. A completely successful evening. We would all love to return again.
Richard is the very best server. Food was well prepared
I had high hopes for this dinner, but the food was really quite unsatisfactory. I opted for the tasting menu. Not one course was executed well, and something seemed off with every plate. The pork belly in the pork belly starter was bland. My venison was a bit cold. The brownie was rock hard. I liked he forbidden rice base for the salmon and lamb. That was it. The sequencing seemed erratic, too. The staff was attentive and informative. I appreciated that. The restaurant is dated and needs an upgrade. I have had far better meals for this cost. The wine list was decent, and the view was good.
We had an exceptional meal and the view was spectacular! The Arizona Prime Beef Filet was cooked perfectly, as well as the Beer Brined Chicken. They have a great selection of Gluten Free dishes and an extensive wine list. The Creme Brulee is to die for, too! We dined here for our 22nd wedding anniversary and could not have picked a better place! It gets my highest recommendation!
Overall it was a good experience the waiter Ian was very attentive made a lot of excellent suggestions which added to the enjoyment of our meal! the price of the wine was a little too high even for this restaurant but otherwise the rest of the costs were acceptable for the location! My wife and I were celebrating a special event that night the 56th anniversary of our meeting each other ! The View is Spectacular! We have lived here in Phoenix for 37 years and our son had his wedding reception at the Hotel here and we have always enjoyed the dining here over the years!
Service and food was outstanding. Although it is a more expensive meal than a regular night out the prices were not outrageous. It felt like good value for the money, amazing views, top notch service and a fun atmosphere.
AWESOME view. FANTASTIC menu and food. Service was impeccable. Noise level was a bit loud, but other than that, a perfect evening!
30th Wedding Anniversary celebrated looking out over a beautiful Arizona sunset. The filet was delicious, The ambience and service were superb. This is a must experience restaurant for a special occasion or someone visiting Arizona!
Food and staff was exceptional, we will be revisiting in the future
We came here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 21st birthday and were we IMPRESSED! The staff was very respectful and kind from the hostess desk to even then food runners. Our server Luis, was the BEST waiter to service me. He was patient and answered every silly question I had about food or drinks. The food was phenomenal! We had steak tartare, Short rib, and quail. The short rib melted off the bone, I can’t say I had pork better anyway else. Afterwards, we ordered extra wine to take to the romantic lounge area outside. There was a beautiful view where we took pictures, of course. Also, a huge fire pit where you could snuggle up and sip on your wine. 10/10 would do again!
Overall service was exceptional!! Food was amazing my waiter was very educated about the menu and helped us pick an amazing meal. Was our second time there and will definitely be going back again!
I was alone, but would have been romantic. What a view!
Very exquisite food and service!! Definitely will recommend everyone I know to go!
Recommended by a friend that frequents Phoenix. Beautiful location, wonderful view. The food was superb as well as the service. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a romantic and perfect dinner. 💜
Spectacular food with excellent knowledgeable service. We dined for a special birthday at this mountain top restaurant with wide views of Phoenix at sunset. Ian was our server who made the wine pairing an educational adventure and well matched to the tasting menu. We felt special and could not imagine a better experience.
Extraordinary in every way, especially the ambience.
This was our third visit. The food was outstanding, the view didn’t disappoint, and the service was fabulous. I love this place. Thank you.
Amazing! Everything was perfect! The food was delicious, the service exemplary. We celebrated my sons birthday. Surely one he will not forget.
This was a special occasion trip and A Different Pointe of View delivered. You can expect about a hundred per person and it will be worth it. The lobster bisque has a delectable dollop of flavored sweet cream that adds a little something extra; I would go back for this alone. All in my party had surf and/or turf and all found their meals to their liking; nothing was amiss. I do not care for lobster claw personally but thought it was an interesting option, and the tail and side of scallops were very enjoyable. I indulged in a half bottle of dessert wine from Asti and found it just as satisfying as the bottle I had there this summer. The staff were attentive and made every effort to make us feel comfortable and welcomed, in particular our birthday girl.
I had been to this restaurant as part of a large group event, so I knew if I ever had the opportunity to come back with my spouse I was going to do it. She didn't know where we were going and she was very excited when we walked up the stairs and were seated with the view of the valley. The food was superb and the service was excellent. Although higher priced, I felt it was all worth the cost. We'll be back on our next trip to Phoenix for sure!
Had a wonderful experience. Food was excellent, service was perfect and can't beat the views of the city at nght.
Great view! Great service! Good food. Good wine. Worth the drive.
The view.....breathtaking. We came for Xmas. The buffet had a great variety, $69/person felt a bit high but I think what bothered me the most was that a 20% gratituity was automatically added. Again, it was a buffet and there really was not much for the waiter to do that warranted 20%. I would go again, prime rib was perfectly cooked.
Our family always has Christmas Day brunch here. The food is marvelous, and the view is tremendous. The best Christmas celebration you can imagine!
The Christmas buffet was definitely the highlight of the day. I took my in-laws here for their Christmas present and it did not disappoint. I kept getting complemented on how thoughtful I was. Thanks DPOV for the amazing service and essentially making me look like an amazing daughter in law!
