   This place is bad. They are trying so hard to be high end but they just are not. They weren't seating outside because they said it was "too cold" but it was 78 degrees. They put my wife and I in front of an outdoor pillar so we had no view. Then they are super rigid on their meal selection making you order all at once and not allowing you to make changes that resulted in a lower price. Example, the filet comes with lobster mashed potatoes for $72. We didn't want the lobster (which is always expensive), they wouldn't discount. I ordered a drink and the entire glass was filled with large circular ice cubes so there were only a few sips. When the steak came it was butterflied so they could cook it faster and it was like a brick. The manager questioned us a few times which felt like we were being gaslit before finally agreeing to remove the steak. Terrible place, we drove 40 minutes for our anniversary dinner only for this bummer.

   The view has you as soon as uou walk in. Its a beautiful restaurant in a great location. Food is top notch and the Waiters are experienced, World class professionals. My only disparaging comment would be the carpets are worn and dirty and the place could use a freshen up with new paint to keep that Top level Restaurant feel.

   The duck breast was very chewy. The others has a steak and scallops and they were perfect.

   The host was very professional and nice, and our server was very nice as well. Although service was slow, and we think our server had too many tables to manage or the kitchen was slow. We ordered appetizers and a salad and the salad took almost 35 minutes to get. Once we were done with our salads, our entrees took another 30 minutes. At this point we had no appetite. But we tried the New York strip which was good, and I had the Chilean sea bass which was extremely fishy tasting and smelling, with a very slimy texture. Our waitress and manager were accommodating and removed the entrees from the bill. Overall beautiful scenery and romantic environment but food was just ok.

   My husband's order was wrong but the manager fixed it immediately. Terrific food and a view that can't be beat!

   My experience was very good, very outstanding but I did have to call over the waiter 5 times, and the other time that I went I only called over the waiter 1 time but overall the experience was good the food was awesome we were treated very good. We all love it and would go another time to eat there. 💕

   The staff made it possible for me to have a table that was elevated and separate from the noise. Because of a hearing issue I have, this was an ideal setting for me. I was very pleased that they were able to accommodate my need. We were very appreciative of our waitress, providing us with extra soup to share. It was a welcome gesture. The view was spectacular. We also LOVED the bread and the 3 spreads provided.

    Before writing this review, I did look at others recent reviews, and for the most part they are four and five stars, however there were several that parallel my experience. I am a frequent valley fine diner and have significant experiences for comparison. To begin, I intentionally made the reservation weeks in advance to accommodate my request for window seating. At check in, the hostess’ initial greeting was, “We do not have a window seat, but seating with a view”, it was downhill from there. We begin with the Panzanella Salad and Lobster Bisque. The salad presentation was nicely plated and looked delicious, however it was bland and tasteless, croutons are to be crunchy, these were saturated in dressing. Salt and pepper, not available on the table was requested and liberally applied, after receiving a third pair. The bisque was also a nice presentation; however, it came with a fishy aroma, and although it was tasty and enjoyable to eat, it would be better described as seafood bisque rather than lobster bisque. Entrees included Dover Scallops, nicely prepared and very pleasant to eat, and Braised Pork Shank, which arrived on a bed of cold polenta, with a lukewarm pork shank. The entrée was returned, then reappeared with a crown of roasted kale, said by the waiter to demonstrate its higher temperature, when in fact the polenta was still cold, the pork shank was slightly warmer, and the accompanying carrots were micro-wave hot. BTW, the pork was devoid of flavor. In closing, I parallel several comments with respect to having an advertised dress code, enforce it, or forget it. You can’t beat the view and the atmosphere, the wait staff is above average but lacks support from the kitchen, and I’d surely like to be met by a smiling face with an upbeat persona telling me my request for a window seat was being ignored. Oh, and my anniversary, also noted on the reservation, not a mention.
