Amazing food, service and view!
We have been here several times, and it is such a beautiful restaurant. The food was excellent in the past, but we weren't impressed with our latest dinners. My swordfish was very salty and my husband's scallops had too much vanilla in the sauce. Service, though, was exemplary.
There’s no question that the dining room has a spectacular view of Phoenix and it is clearly a great venue to take it all in. Service is mature and professional. Unfortunately, the room is showing it’s age, from the elevator to the undressed tabletops. Known as a special occasion spot, a great view only goes so far. Lobster bisque was nice, on the sweet side; duck confit risotto was nice with the addition of the micro greens, but salty. Lobster two ways was excellent and the filet was perfectly done. Creme brûlée was more fruit topping than custard. Go for the view.
Epic views, great food and service. Love this place. All the meals were wonderfully prepared, with great staff supporting having a good time. We celebrated 2 birthdays and had fun. Check it out, even if for drinks on the deck.
The views are spectacular!! Highly suggest getting there before sunset to get a cocktail and sit by the fire to watch the most amazing Arizona sunsets. Food, drinks, views are worth going!!
Perfect place to take your special someone out for a wonderful romantic evening.
Hadn’t been here in years and I was disappointed. The food and service were just mediocre. Still great views but not worth returning.
Perfect for a romantic dinner! Happy friendly waitstaff; beautiful views; creative and delicious food.
If you're looking for a restaurant with great ambiance, this is it. The views were spectacular, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Ian, our server was great and kept a lively and upbeat attitude the entire time.
I enjoyed the service. If we go somewhere and pay those prices then that is exactly how we should be treated. Thank you for accommodating everything I asked!
I travel to Phoenix every March and Different Pointe of View is one restaurant always on my list of stops. Amazing food, excellent wine, and a friendly knowledgeable staff!
We have come to dinner a number of times and it turns out to be our favorite. Service, thoughtfulness accommodating. Good menu with fine preparation. Highly recommend!
The food was delicious, and the presentation was amazing. Was a very romantic restaurant, with great service. The view that this restaurant has is absolutely stunning.
Not as good as I expected. Food was overlooked, but the manager and wait staff were amazing.
Celebrated my husbands 30th birthday here and it was incredibl! Can't go wrong with the view, the service, or the food! Very romantic setting and probably one of the best meals I have ever had!
I reserved a table apx a month in advance. I informed them it was our 38 wedding Anniversary and that we would like a table with a view. We were the first to arrive at 5pm when they opened. I was very disappointed when they sat us in a small table in the very corner of the restaurant by the doors leading outside. Our view was limited due to a large pillar. I even traded places with my husband so he could get the good view and I would have the partial view. I thought it was perhaps because we only had a party of two, but several after us only had two in the party also. The waiter wasn’t very friendly and offered no information on the food, unless asked. It was our first time there and it wasn’t a very good experience, so I doubt we will return. I also will not recommend this restaurant to others.
Awesome view and food was way better than I expected. I thought price was reasonably moderate particularly for the overall value
Food was above-average quality. Filets cooked to perfection, though overly spiced for my tastes. Some would claim them perfect on all marks. Drink-perfect. Table service was stalled - too many other tables to service on a busy night.
Birthday dinner! Our server was Luis and he was awesome! He made the experienc
Amazing restaurant with fabulous views, incredible service and delicious food!!
Always a great time and good food. Could use a fee more beets in the beet salad but other then that the food was great. Can’t wait to go again.
Fabulous meal and service!
A wonderful experience. The views are spectacular and the culinary delights please and delight your taste buds. Service is outstanding and friendly.
Stellar service, atmosphere was second to none and the best view I ever seen while dining.
5 star no doubt.
P the service and ambience couldn't be better. Our waiter was very attentive. We had a table of 10 and he was right there with any requests.the reason I'm giving this a 3-star is because this was a celebration of my husband's birthday. We had close friends there and I wanted it to be a very special occasion. I let the staff know that it was a birthday celebration when I made the reservation as well as when they called to remind me of the reservation. To my disappointment his birthday was not even acknowledged. Not a card, gift card, free dessert, or anything.with the prices charged I can't believe that a small piece of cake with a candle would have cost management so much that they couldn't have even made this a special occasion.I will go back however I will advise people not to celebrate any occasions there unless management changes their policy.
the reason that the food was given a 3-star was because nine of our dishes were very good however my husband's short ribs were extremely dry so much to the point that he couldn't finish it. He tried to drown them out in the sauce but that wasn't successful. Overall I expected the experience to be a 5 and it was a little disappointing.
Great view and service
We made our reservations online to get a seat in the restaurant but we were placed outside overlooking the McDonalds parking lot. I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs. The meatballs were too "squishy" for my tastes and the sauce on the spaghetti was so so. Not quite Chef Boyardee but not far. I ordered a Tanqueray and Tonic. It was NOT Tanqueray. My guess it was the well gin. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmagian and thought it was good. On the plus side the waitress was pleasant. I'm not a foodie but any stretch of the imagination but to honest this was a pretty mediocre experience.
First time our friends were there they were so impressed they will definitely be back
The whole experience was amazing. service was beyond expectation. We chose the chefs choice and the wine pairing and were totally satisfied. Waiters helping with pictures and making sure we safely got to the patio later. Can't wait to come back.
We had a great dinner at Different Pointe of View! The view is so beautiful. The food was delicious, presented well and the service was very good.
This was our second time and was just as good as the first. We love everything about this place. The view, the drinks, the service, and the amazing food. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!
Views are amazing! Lobster bisque is a must!
Best Lobster Bisque in the city. Order it by the Vat. Food was very good and the Service was excellent. Would certainly go there again.
Amazing service, unforgettable food, and a stunning view! We ate here visiting out of town and it was a great last night dinner. Hope we can come back! The diver scallops and the short rib entrees were amazing! Highly recommend
Great foodservice was 5 stars. My wife and I had the best time very romantic . Great view outside on the patio. The waitstaff was great, very friendly.
It was a wonderful experience. Service was great, plenty of food. Food was excellent. Can’t beat the views!
The view and the service are top notch! I appreciate a server that never lets my wine glass be empty :) We went for my husband's birthday and I did not have to remind anyone that it was his birthday, which I appreciated. (no free birthday dessert here though). The views were enjoyable and staff was more than willing to take photos. The food was okay, we enjoyed our appetizers more than the entrees. My husband had the pork loin and enjoyed it. I had the scallops, the scallops were great, what was not great was the plating style with a pile of risotto slopped onto the plate and huge pieces of broccoli...it looked anything but appetizing. To be fair, the scallops were cooked great, I had one bite of the risotto and didn't care for it all. The beef carpaccio was delicious! (we should have had 2 of those) We would go back, but for the price of the so-so entrees, we would stick with drinks, appetizers, and the view!
The view was very nice. The place looked like it could definitely use an update. The food was ok - nothing extraordinary. The bread was served cold. I had the lamb shank super fatty. The lobster bisque was delicious as was the pear and Bibb lettuce salad. Nothing else stood out really. I’d say go for drinks but you will have a better meal elsewhere.
I only had 5 stars, if there were more I'd give it more. You come here for the view-floor to ceiling windows overlooking Phoenix- that is not to be believed. The food, however was superb! The servers and waitstaff are attentive, helpful and personable. They made excellent recommendations. There were 4 of us, we each ordered something different so we could taste each other's food. Not a bad dish to be found.
What a special dining experience!
Nice view. Service was nice but didn't check on us much, forgot our appetizer, but comped dessert.
