Great Service & Ambiance
Food was well prepared, but a very traditional menu. Nothing innovative or forward. Delivers on service and view, but I did not feel the value was there for the price.
The view is OUTSTANDING. The food is great. The service was really good. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions.
It was amazing. Our server was extremely knowledgable, the food was tasty and the vibe was very relaxed and classy.
Delicious food and great views. Service was friendly and very good.
Entertaining out of country guests
Other than getting harassed by the pushy valet on the way in it was fine.
The ambiance and views were spectacular. This is an excellent venue for a proposal or other romantic gesture. The service was friendly and excellent with open hand service. The food was delicious, although the temperature wasn't correct in the beginning, they made every overature to correct the issue. It was my first visit, but I'll recommend it in my next visit to Phoenix
Everything was exceptional! The tasting menu was one of the best meals I have had in years. Service was amazing as well.
Incredible views. Great service from Ruby in the downstairs bar and Austin in the restaurant.
Excellent service, great food, and an amazing view. I will be back and I highly recommend it.
We had a family dinner and it was a wonderful dining experience. Luis our server was friendly , attentive and genuine. We had the lobster bisque, swordfish, bison and pork tenderloin. All were outstanding. And , of course, all with a one of a kind view from the top of the mountain.
Wow what a view. I had the special - sea bass - very yummy
Food and service was excellent and of course the view was magnificent
We had such a wonderful first experience here! Christian, our waiter was friendly and so helpful. "Z" helped us feel so welcomed, we will definately be back! The food, service, and views made our dining experience a night to remember! Mahalo nui loa!
The views from this spot are incredible! Staff and manager we’re very accommodating with a window table! Excellent wine list!
Fantastic menu and service. My wife has allergens (Celiacs and Dairy) and the waiter worked with the chef to make a dish for her that could accommodate both. The view is gorgeous and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend the scallop entree and the duck entree.
Literally the most amazing food I've had! Everything was delicious, everybody was sweet and the view outside was great!
Chose to celebrate 22nd anniversary here. Beautiful location, unbeatable views, but all in all, a great deal of hype. Food was over salted and meat was over cooked. We were seated at a table for two with room for one and half at best. I guess they were going for intimate. Staff did what they could to compensate for the mistakes in the food and picked up the bill for a portion of the meal, which was appropriate and appreciated but still made for disappointing night. Maybe it was just an off night...
Very attentive service. Great scenic view. Tender beef.
Great food and vista.
This was my wife's birthday dinner with another couple, our best friends. Beautiful view, delicious food, great service, outstanding recommendations from our server. Our server suggested various menu items to meet diet issues that were exceptional. This is our go to place for special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, out of town visitors, and just a fine experience.
This is the third year in a row that we attend the Christmas day buffet. It has become a favorite in our family- from location and views, to outstanding service and wonderful food. Thank you for making our Christmas memorable!
This is our fifth family holiday dinner and it was great! The food, service and location cannot be beat.
Was our first time. The view was amazing, the food was great. The service was a little intense but the evening was great otherwise. Our reservation was for 745, while we were waiting for our window seat (that we'd requested when we made the reservation) we were told a non-window was available and that the restaurant was closing so we couldn't wait for our window seat. As we were about to walk over to our table, the window seat opened up and we ended up with what we wanted.
We were there for Christmas Eve. The place was busy but we were seated promptly. There was valet parking so we didn’t need to worry with that. The food and service was excellent
Our service was excellent. We had to make a table change due to more quests than expected. The staff was very helpful. Our server was the best.
Food and service were extrordinary. We were served and out of the place in under an hour on a busy holiday evening. I had lobster bisque and bison filet. The bisque was so creamy I had to look at my spoon to be sure I was really eating. The bison was cooked perfectly medium rare and was juicy and tender.
"I love the ambiance and relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The food was amazing and we got to meet the Chef. Felt a little rushed by the staff prior to our reservation to sit. We spent a long time at dinner and if you want to enjoy the outside view go earlier. Our wait service was well-timed and friendly, drinks a bit pricey.
Service was good although the waiter seemed rushed and forgot part of our order. We had hoped for a window seat as we marked our reservation as a “special occasion” but were instead seated at an oblong table in the back near a busy walkway. There was a drunk table next to us that was very loud. Food was very good but not great. The restaurant seemed more run down and catering to a more relaxed crowd than what we had remembered as our experience several years ago. Solid experience but not good enough to return. The entire hotel seems like it is getting run down.
DPOV, has always been an incredible experience. We all had the Chef’s Tasting menu and it was a great meal. The dishes possessed items featured from the menu but with different preparation. It’s an excellent way to experience what art can be created with food! Highly recommended with the wine pairings.
Best view restaurant in Phoenix and perfect for special occasions. We found it difficult not to linger on the patios, taking photos and chatting within our group as well as other guests. The beautiful view of both the city and the mountains drew strangers into conversation.
We found the menu varied and interesting. The charcuterie board appetizer delighted our group, with its variety of items and sweet, savory and spicy choices.
Most of our table chose the filet mignon, a superior cut of beef smothered in mushrooms, but a bit overpowered by the blue cheese and underwhelmed by a very few fingerling potatoes. Our more adventurous friend selected the bison option. We all joined in a taste and found the bison meat even more superb than the filet.
The only disappointment of the meal was a teeny, tiny portion of creme brûlée, which we had each wanted to sample, but was gone in about two spoonfuls. Its fresh fruit presentation looked beautiful, but less fruit and more brûlée would have been pleasant. The complimentary chocolate mousse served to one of our party was attractively presented and tasty—and we loved the vanilla macaroons provided with the check.
Our server seemed at first attentive, but later either became busy elsewhere or disinterested, for we saw too little of him. The secondary food servers were friendly and smiley, however, so they helped create a better environment.
We thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the ambiance, and even the rapport we built with a couple adjoining groups of guests.
The restaurant offers a beautiful view of Phoenix. We had planned our company Christmas dinner well in advance of the reservation date. I received a call the day of the reservation informing me the bar would be closed for an event before and after our dinner. The late notice provided no alternative to change venues and I had already suggested to our team to meet early for cocktails to enjoy the view. The service and food was excellent. After dinner we had requested cigars to enjoy on the patio and take in the view. The waiter delivered the cigars, matches and cutter only to tell we couldn't some the there, what was the point. After some discussion they found a spot on the patio ( it was empty) to some the cigars. I will go back but only after I ask a lot of questions to eliminate any last minute surprises.
Even though they cannot guarantee special requests, ours was granted - a seat for 2 by the window - we were celebrating a birthday. The restaurant is gorgeous and the view is phenomenal! The service is excellent! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered. Truly wonderful and inviting. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone who desires an amazing dining experience.
beautiful view and the food was fantastic. great ambiance. we were celebrating our christmas early this year.. and chose this restaurant for it's fine food. lovely night!
Hands down one of the best nights my wife and I had. Nothing negative to say about this restaurant. Everything was on point. Definitely will be a place to go to in the future.
The food was amazing, along with the breathtaking view. This was our second time at the restaurant, and still love dining here. This is a great place for a couple’s date night or special occasion, it does not disappoint. Other than our waiter, the rest of the staff was very polite and kind.
Visiting from Michigan, the view was amazing! My husband and I were celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary.
