This is an unpretentious, neighborhood Italian restaurant. The pastas are dependable and actually the lasagna was very good. A simple wine list that is dependably low priced.
Just not my idea of a worthwhile place for a dinner out. I probably won't be back.

Overall the food was good, and they had a lot of gluten free options. Our waitress was really attentive as well. The only issue was we specifically reserved a short table and we were given a high top. It was pretty hard to sit there in my Valentine's dress, but other than that it was a pretty good experience and an excellent value for all we got. We would come back again.

We had a Wonderful Waitress!! I had a special request and it was Fulfilled and it Made my night even more special!! I would totally Recommend this beautiful restaurant! The food.... THE FOOD WAS SO OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS!!!!

The lasagna was amazing. The service was not great. Server didn't bring us bread until after we ordered appetizers, which I felt was misleading. Additionally, the server only checked on us once throughout the course of our meal and took too long getting us the check and processing payment. It was also stuffy in the restaurant.

The food was amazing. Much better than more expensive Italian restaurants. Very impressed with both the lasagna and Gorgonzola filet. And, honestly, the wedge salad was the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be coming back.

Only bit of advice I can give is try to grab a table in the main dining area.

As usual, we had a wonderful evening! Service was great, food was wonderful and ambience can't be beat! We started with the house salad which is a great staple. I tend to always get the lasagna because it is so good. My husband got angel hair pasta with sausage and there was not a speck left. Bread is very good also. Great Valentine's night. Our waitress was friendly and readily available. Loved our night!

This was our first time visiting, and we were very impressed! The food was delicious (try the pesto cream sauce!) and the server was attentive. The restaurant is not very spacious, but if you're looking for a cozy atmosphere, this is a great spot!

Frankfort Avenue parking is not great on a Saturday so get there early as you may need to walk a bit. The restaurant is great. Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. The food and service were great. Will be back!

Di Fabio's is a great Italian neighborhood restaurant. One of our group is gluten free, and he was happy to find so many GF choices (calamari, pasta, etc.). Everyone enjoyed their choices. Service was very friendly and efficient. Thank you!

Very close quarters, felt crammed in at our table. Server was great. Probably won’t go back as the seating was way too tight. The table we were at really should have sat only 2 diners. We were a party of 4.

Everything here was just fair. We ordered the special appetizer upon recommendation of the server: a baked goat cheese with marinara and house made pita chips. The goat cheese was fine, but the chips were bitter and tasted horrible. We also had the bruschetta, though, which was delicious. My friend ordered veal piccata, was brought chicken piccata that the server realized once it was cut into and switched out. I ordered the chicken piccata, which was chicken but the chicken had no breading on it so must have been for someone who ordered it gluten free, but the server refused to recognize that and told me I was wrong - as she was taking away the obviously breaded piece of chicken piccata served to my friend. My husband ordered pasta with meat sauce (recommended by server) with sausage and a meatball. The meatball was inedible. My father had baked spaghetti, not on the menu but which they fixed because he asked for it. He enjoyed his. The best thing of the night was the bottle of Chianti off of their very limited wine menu. This is a medium priced restaurant that I’m afraid just doesn’t deliver, even if our server was friendly. We were there on a Friday night, and it was busy, even though I was able to make our 6:30 reservations that afternoon.

First time at DeFabio’s and will definitely return. Liz provided excellent service and suggestions. Bother the goat cheese and marinara as well as the veal piccata were freshly prepared and delicious. As close to Italian home cooking as we have ever had and an excellent value!

The first time we went it was very good. This was our second time and the food was a bit dry. Their bread was very good. The room was very loud.

I can't believe I'm just trying this place for the first time! We went for my husband's birthday with a group of six people and everybody loved their food (we all ordered something different). My daughter even tried the escargot and love them too!
Overall a great experience. We will be back soon.
