Everything was perfect, our server was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great and the food was great also my husband and I had a very enjoyable time. We will certainly go back again.

The food is very good and they serve a very nice house wine. We will return before long.

First time here, was a Valentine’s Day celebration. Cute place with some out of date Italian decor (think mid-90s, a little bit of repainting and redo of the hanging decor would go a long way here). The Covid regulations were being followed sufficiently. BF had the chicken Marsala, which was good if a bit over sauced. The shrimp scampi over angel hair (what I had) was excellent, perfect portion size for the price. I was a bit taken aback with no table side bread offering, seems like a low cost option that the place could offer to their patrons- especially with the abundance of local bakeries in the area. Escargot appetizer was good, although not enough bread accompanied it to soak up the sauce. (Again, a need for bread!). All in all, a good meal - but not spectacular. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

Food was great overall. Great flavor to all the dishes! I highly recommend the escargot, it was our first time trying it and it was fantastic. Can’t beat the prices. My only gripe was lipstick stains on my glass and they didn’t have fresh parmesan cheese, instead gave me and my date little packets of the powdered cheese. Other than that, I’ll definitely be going back.

The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. This is a hidden gem on Frankfort Avenue. Some of the best Italian food in the city! You can not go wrong with Defabio Casabella's!

Our favorite restaurant! Delicious food and wonderful experience every time we go. Outside seating had heaters and the temperature was just right. Love the patio seating all year round. Highly recommended

Solid Italian food. Very reasonable price. Expected a little more "upscale" However, we were satisfied with the experience and would come back with kids.

I ordered my filet medium. It came out well done so they offered to make it again....10-15 minutes later a new steak came out and it was more rare than anything. I wasn’t going to send it back a second time. We were there for our anniversary so I sat and watched my wife eat, and then she had to watch me eat.

DiFabio's never disappoints. We sat outside on a cold night, and there were plenty of heating lamps that made it comfortable. Our server was excellent -- intuitive and attentive.

We had dinner there Sunday night. The veal parm was excellent. The chicken piccata delicious and the nightly special wonderful......
The wine list is limited but full bar can mix any drink......
We need to support DiFabios and keep this great place open.

Wished I would have found this gem years ago, I have always said Louisville needs a great Italian place, and this is it! I brought my Italian family while they were visiting, and they were just as pleased! Will continue to return, often!

WE loved it, our first time experience. Calamari was the best we have had! Chicken Marcella was delicious! Wait staff excellent! We will go again!

We were sat in the back, which I wasn’t minding at first. So we proceed with our day and notice plates on the table. We were hungry so we had order some bread as an appetizer. After our drinks came we notice we didn’t receive any straws, so I got up and had to ask for them. As we go on, we see that our waiter was more friendly with the table who was sat next to us. He gave them straws, and even mentioned to them that they have free bread they bring with the food. It was not advertised to us and left us with a bad experience with the restaurant.

Dinner was fantastic! And the price was phenomenal for the quality of food. We had the chicken parmigiana, shrimp caprese, calimari fritti, bruschetta, chocolate torte, and tiramisu. The wait staff was super inviting and friendly. This was our first visit and we will definitely be going back.

The food and service were incredible. The ambiance could use a little sprucing up. We will go back. The food was that good!
