Daughters 17th bday

Was looking forward to the Dick's experience, but our waiter was entirely too nice.

The language used by our waitress and other waitstaff was completely inappropriate. The things written on the hats were completely inappropriate. I get this place is know for being sarcastic and rude. But there is no excuse for vulgarity and crudeness. I had my 13 year old daughter and her friend and I was appalled at the language and the hats. If a restaurant isn’t kid friendly, it should be made clear at the door. Also, the food is sub par. I ordered a salad that came with undercooked steak and wilty lettuce and no dressing. They were out of ribs- so my boyfriend ordered fish that was straight up frozen out of a box. Excellent food would have been this restaurants only saving grace. But not only was it awful, it was overpriced. We were so excited to go here for spring break and my daughters 13th birthday- but it was a complete uncomfortable experience. It is possible to be funny, sarcastic and rude without vulgarity. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

They didn’t take our reservation. And we never go it. Disappointed by the two people at the front desk

Absolutely amazing. Couldn't have had a better waiter. The food was great too!

They ran out of food. My reservation was for 6:30 in the evening and half the items on the menu weren't available.

Food was mediocre and overpriced. The experience of having a purposefully rude waiter did not make up for it.

You were out of all the food we wanted, the food we did have tasted terrible. I ordered a ice cream drink and never got it. It was way too expensive.Our seat in the corner was even a seat. Will not ever go to any Dicks or recommend it to anyone.

Had a reservation and still waited an hour! Was told they would call me when they were ready. Even verified my phone number. Never called. Was sitting right in front of them. When I inquired, was told they called me and now it’ll be another hour!

What a fun blast but not the place if you can't take a joke and just have a good time. Mary told us off and had some sharp words flying our way and our group of co workers are still having a good laugh. Than your for not being PC.

First time at Dick's. The server was rude and obnoxious like you're supposed to be but the service was fair to middling at best. The restaurant was unable to pull up our reservation (made a few days before) and made no effort to accommodate. We ended up having to shark a place at one of the outside communal tables, and we ended up having to bus the table ourselves.

Food was decent, and the drinks were good, but it did not make up for the other issues. Price was a bit on the high side for what I saw.

All in all I was underwhelmed

Dicks is a Fun and Energetic place! if you want to have FUN go with a group and the waiters will get you going. Don't forget to join in on the fracas :-)

Very rude staff. We left as soon as we were seated due to the rude behavior of our waitstaff.

Dicks last resort is not just the name it's there business model everyone in there is a straight dick.

I took my son and his friends for their graduation for security forces, usaf.. the waiter was as rude as we wanted, inappropriate and tons of fun!. Our hats were priceless and very creative!.. had a great time!

We had the best time. The servers were outrageously funny. The food was wonderful. We had a feast and everything from the fried pickles to the ribs, tots and incredible brownie sundae has been some of the best food we have eaten since we flew in to Austin 5 days ago. Watching people walk on the river walk was entertaining too. Going to Dick’s Last Resort was definitely worth the drive from Austin.

It was as expected when it came to the server being "dick". He was still nice to check up on us. He was created with his hats. I would recommend this more for appetizers and drinking. The food was too expensive for the amount.

Our reservation was not an actual reservation they said. It’s only a preferred seating list.

Once seated finally, the server was personally rude. Called girls fat and overall insulting.

Will not ever return!!!

Fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening to celebrate our daughters birthday. From the food servers to the gentleman who came to work in a dinosaur sweater and left without it. Thank you so much

Fun place with a crazy atmosphere. TVs everywhere and great memorabilia. Food is very good! Just be prepared for the sarcasm by the servers but it's all in fun!

A Saturday night visit. Loud and crazy as you would expect. Food and service was average.

Terrible service so we left before we even had someone ask for a drink order!

All I can say is don't go if you get easily offended

Open table allowed me to make a reservation for 12:15am and after using uber to get there and finding the place they told us the kitchen closed at midnight! Why can I make a reservation if the kitchen is closed! They said we could have drinks only because the bar was open. Wasted our time.

Jessica our server was awesome ! Mystery beer grab was a bargain if you like differ t beers.

I get be a DICK at Dicks but the waiter was OVER the top.

Pretty disappointed with what happened. I know it was out of their control that a fire started in the kitchen. But even the ambition of the hosts and servers were not like was expected either.

this is a great place to take an unsuspecting date, as the waiters are surly and rude, but that's part of the deal! They give you paper hats with rude sayings, but that's part of the fun!
If you are looking for a quiet spot for a date, this is not the place!

Go for the experience not the food. Food and drinks are way overpriced. Waitstaff is hysterical.

It was loud, tasty and fun. We went with a couple that had never been, they loved it and it was his birthday

I took myself and three friends to this restaurant for my 18th birthday, because I have heard this is a famous restaurant for the waiters giving insults and guests having a good time. Our waiter's name was Casy, he was great at getting our orders right and passing the time. I will definitely go again soon.
