Horrible experience! Food was terrible! Never was offered refills on drinks!!
It’s Dicks. Server played the attitude role well. Appropriate with a 13 year old. Food is what you’d expect from a casual chain joint. Overall no complaints, decent quality. Great place to hang out on second avenue before a predators game.
It was a decent experience it was a birthday celebration and the only compliant I have is they really didn't acknowledge the birthday.
Took my daughter for her 18th birthday and we had so much fun! Would definitely go again
Hosted a large group for a birthday dinner, which unfortunately turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences at a restaurant I can recall. We've been to other Dick's locations and are aware of the "experience" they subject on patrons (which was why we came) - no issues there. However it is a restaurant and the food quality (or lack thereof) was inexcusable. It's clear they purchase low-quality ingredients to start and haven't figured out how to cook and get it out to the customer efficiently. Not only did several members of our party receive cold food (that was suppose to be hot/warm), half of our table got their meals, while the other half waited an additional 10 minutes for theirs to show up. BTW, they weren't busy. Also the staff was underwhelming from the hostesses to the server. Suffice to say, we will never return to this location. It was so bad, I would have rated them a zero if it was an option.
Had an reservation and still had to wait 15 minutes to get seated. They ran out of CHEESE after we ordered so had to re-order, then they came back and said never mind they have cheese now. It was TWO hours from the time we set foot in there till we got our food. Out waitress was amazing though, she acknowledged that we were upset and ended up being really nice to us so we didn’t get the “Dick” experience.
GREAT atmosphere and REALLY good food. Our waitress was TERRIBLE though...LOL!
Dick's Last Resort is always fun. It's part of our Nashville New Year tradition. We've been there four years in a row. Our server wasn't as good (or as bad, by Dick's standards) as usual. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed when we visited. My only complaint is that we had made a reservation online since there were 11 of us, but we still had to wait 20+ minutes for a table. It seems that the online reservation meant nothing since we were told that another group had walked in before us.
The food was not great and the service was poor but the attitude lived up to the Dicks last resort ambiance.
This place was okay. The food was pretty good, but I thought that it was way to pricey for what was on my plate. I know steak is expensive but I had one little piece of steak and four pieces of shrimp and some fries on a little plate for $18.99. Thats way to much. You can eat at logans roadhouse and spend the same price but get way more food so I would choose there. The hate thing got to be a little much for me. The sayings on there and stuff.
Clearly some people like this place but...meh. I don’t mind sarcasm if it’s entertaining or clever. This was just lame. The food was mediocre and the drink were terrible. My 13 year old was bored and unentertained as well.
I wish that they would add more sides to their menu....& actually offer a menu, instead of having to look on a Chalkboard. I wouldn't mind going back with a larger group to see if the experience would be a little bit better!
We had a great time! Casey was an awesome waiter!
Food was average and overpriced, but that's not what we went for. We went for the laughs and experience and we got it with our mean waitress and embarrisingly funny hats! Sat down right away and fast service, even at 7pm on a Saturday night with a group of 7.
Love the service and their willingness to take the food off of my ticket. Definitely go for the ambiance and not the food.
Confusing menu - on a wall board. Waitress didn't explain things any better. The theme of the wise cracking rude waitstaff made it hard to order. Food took forever to arrive. A manager did come out and apologize for the wait - and did comp us. Never the less the food was cold. Not our type of place.
We are older, and this place would be fun for kids maybe, or a group focused more on partying and not eating.
Having to wait for a table after making reservations was not fun we should not have to wait for everybody before being seated that's the whole point of making reservations if we could have got a table we could have ordered appetizers and spent more money
The fish and chips and the crabby balls were excellent!
I brought our group of 16 for my sisters Bachlorette party hoping for a funny, energetic experience at your location. The restaurant was not only dirty upon arrival, we then went through the drink menu where they list no prices, and to our demise, the drinks had literally no alcohol in them yet we were charged $22 for a large Margarita style drink! We then got out food, two of the orders were missing and one of the plates had two pieces of hair cooked into the food! Thankfully, the manager did make her a new meal and they did give a second shot of alcohol for most of the drinks (but we then noticed that they charged us for them).
Overall I would not return. Over priced I feel due to the "experience" that everyone wants to have.
Food was absolutely HORRIBLE. We had a group of 12 and not one person had good food. I get the theme of the restaurant but server was offensive with GD's every other word. Would never return.
9 of us went with an open mind and we love to have fun. I expected some witty sarcasm but we were really disappointed to have non conversation with our server who threw straws on the table and our bills that were wrong (more than once) on the floor for us to pickup. The food was burnt and mediocre but the manager was kind enough to remove the burnt item from our bill. Yeah, we won't be going back ever. Thursday night in downtown Nashville and they weren't busy.....should have been our first clue😟
It was good. Had a great birthday.
Fun atmosphere but drinks and food waaaay overpriced.
We were on Vacation and could not get a reservation in Panama City Beach and therefore
choose to make a special effort in our travels to make a reservation in the Nashville location.
We ordered the appetizers and they came in an instant.... which to me confirmed that not only where the worst we all had anywhere... but also probably sitting under a heat lamp. We could not bare to finish them and we all agreed we would not order our main course there. We should of said so, but we believe that is the quality of your food at all times. And felt it would serve no purpose. Paid ....Tipped ....and left. Took my guests to another restaurant to finish our meal.
Your menu options are also different than your website.. Not all that was on the Florida location was on yours. Your board menu has no explanation of what the meal is. A truly
great disappointment. An embarrassment that I dragged my guests for a celebration there.
Could never recommend this place to anyone....ever. Such a shame as it was to be a pleasant
entertaining place. Yes, we did get paper hats. Not enough to forget the poor quality of the food.
Very overrated. Food was mediocre. Overpriced for quality.
We made a reservation with OpenTable because of the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill concert. We were seated immediately when we arrived. Our server was from Ohio, which was pretty cool since we are from Ohio. We told him that anything goes and he didn't disappoint. Our drinks and food arrived very quickly. We had planned on at least an hour or longer, but we were only there for a half hour. We were an hour early to the concert. It was one of our better meals during our stay in Nashville.
Where do I start? The food was over priced and luke warm when you get it. Then the experience you come to pay for is nothing remotely close to the commercials or advertisements. A word of advice, dry humor was not part of the advertisement. I was very disappointed and embarrassed that I subjected my friends and family to this big hyped place that does not deliver. We all agreed to chuck this place up to a terrible experience learned! Never again!
Didn't honor my reservation. They Only cared about the fleet of bridesmaids parties that kept kept coming in.
We love Dick's in Nashville. We eat there EVERY time we list Nashville. Our waiter this visit was one of the VERY BEST we have ever had! Loved him! I can't remember his name.... very handsome, young, dark hair, muscular.....
Had such a fun Birthday at Dicks! The server was great and we got free shots for my bday, can't complain!
Was very fun and hilarious atmosphere. An all around good time
Went for a bachelorette party, group of 13, we waited over an hour and half to get our food. The waitress gave out half the hats to our group then took 30 minutes to give the other half. Awful experience and she didn't even live up to the "Dick" part. Will not return.
It was my birthday. I like to pick places I’ve never been in hopes that it would be delicious. I ordered crab legs and buffalo chicken breast. The crab legs were cold and the crust on the chicken breast just fell a part. I was not impressed but the waitress was very nice and energetic.
If you want a good laugh this is your spot. The whole concept is great. The food leaves something to be desired. Since it's more of a bar food type joint I figured you can't go wrong with a plate of chicken tenders, but they were literally just bread crumbs, no chicken. I would say you're there for the experience and definitely not the food.
This place was horrible. The food was mediocre at best, service sucked and the waiters weren't even dicks.
The people are lazy here. The food is small and not worth it. There was no air conditioning and we sweated the entire time.
Went with a bunch of girls for a bachelorette party, the food was great and we had a great time. But do not go there if you get "offended" easy. Our waitress was so fun and she had the service with sarcasm down pat, however she did not have the service part together. She had us and a table next to us. Two parties came in, ate, and paid before we even got our food. It took 30 minutes for drinks etc, now I understand she has other tables and things to tend to but if she can get two tables in and out before ours that is different. Never the less, she was super funny and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Love coming here when I'm in Nashville! So much fun!!
Our tween/teenage children wanted to experience Dicks so we stopped for lunch on a short visit to Nashville. The restaurant was mostly empty but several groups were seated in the same section. Our waiter had many tables and was pretty busy but still provided a fun experience and kept the comments funny but appropriate for my kids' ages. The food was typical bar fare and a bit overpriced. However we didn't go for the spectacular food, so it was just fine. We had a fun lunch.
Even though we had a reservation we had to wait 10 minutes, which I found annoying. It was what I was expecting. It was loud and crowded. However, it's always fun to be there. We had the Don't Be Shellfish Dip and it was great. I would recommend this place for a party or girls/guys night.
