Dick's Last Resort - Nashville Ratings and Reviews
This place was okay. The food was pretty good, but I thought that it was way to pricey for what was on my plate. I know steak is expensive but I had one little piece of steak and four pieces of shrimp and some fries on a little plate for $18.99. Thats way to much. You can eat at logans roadhouse and spend the same price but get way more food so I would choose there. The hate thing got to be a little much for me. The sayings on there and stuff.
Food was average and overpriced, but that's not what we went for. We went for the laughs and experience and we got it with our mean waitress and embarrisingly funny hats! Sat down right away and fast service, even at 7pm on a Saturday night with a group of 7.
Confusing menu - on a wall board. Waitress didn't explain things any better. The theme of the wise cracking rude waitstaff made it hard to order. Food took forever to arrive. A manager did come out and apologize for the wait - and did comp us. Never the less the food was cold. Not our type of place.
We are older, and this place would be fun for kids maybe, or a group focused more on partying and not eating.
I brought our group of 16 for my sisters Bachlorette party hoping for a funny, energetic experience at your location. The restaurant was not only dirty upon arrival, we then went through the drink menu where they list no prices, and to our demise, the drinks had literally no alcohol in them yet we were charged $22 for a large Margarita style drink! We then got out food, two of the orders were missing and one of the plates had two pieces of hair cooked into the food! Thankfully, the manager did make her a new meal and they did give a second shot of alcohol for most of the drinks (but we then noticed that they charged us for them).
Overall I would not return. Over priced I feel due to the "experience" that everyone wants to have.
9 of us went with an open mind and we love to have fun. I expected some witty sarcasm but we were really disappointed to have non conversation with our server who threw straws on the table and our bills that were wrong (more than once) on the floor for us to pickup. The food was burnt and mediocre but the manager was kind enough to remove the burnt item from our bill. Yeah, we won't be going back ever. Thursday night in downtown Nashville and they weren't busy.....should have been our first clue😟
We were on Vacation and could not get a reservation in Panama City Beach and therefore
choose to make a special effort in our travels to make a reservation in the Nashville location.
We ordered the appetizers and they came in an instant.... which to me confirmed that not only where the worst we all had anywhere... but also probably sitting under a heat lamp. We could not bare to finish them and we all agreed we would not order our main course there. We should of said so, but we believe that is the quality of your food at all times. And felt it would serve no purpose. Paid ....Tipped ....and left. Took my guests to another restaurant to finish our meal.
Your menu options are also different than your website.. Not all that was on the Florida location was on yours. Your board menu has no explanation of what the meal is. A truly
great disappointment. An embarrassment that I dragged my guests for a celebration there.
Could never recommend this place to anyone....ever. Such a shame as it was to be a pleasant
entertaining place. Yes, we did get paper hats. Not enough to forget the poor quality of the food.
We made a reservation with OpenTable because of the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill concert. We were seated immediately when we arrived. Our server was from Ohio, which was pretty cool since we are from Ohio. We told him that anything goes and he didn't disappoint. Our drinks and food arrived very quickly. We had planned on at least an hour or longer, but we were only there for a half hour. We were an hour early to the concert. It was one of our better meals during our stay in Nashville.
Where do I start? The food was over priced and luke warm when you get it. Then the experience you come to pay for is nothing remotely close to the commercials or advertisements. A word of advice, dry humor was not part of the advertisement. I was very disappointed and embarrassed that I subjected my friends and family to this big hyped place that does not deliver. We all agreed to chuck this place up to a terrible experience learned! Never again!
Went for a bachelorette party, group of 13, we waited over an hour and half to get our food. The waitress gave out half the hats to our group then took 30 minutes to give the other half. Awful experience and she didn't even live up to the "Dick" part. Will not return.
It was my birthday. I like to pick places I’ve never been in hopes that it would be delicious. I ordered crab legs and buffalo chicken breast. The crab legs were cold and the crust on the chicken breast just fell a part. I was not impressed but the waitress was very nice and energetic.
If you want a good laugh this is your spot. The whole concept is great. The food leaves something to be desired. Since it's more of a bar food type joint I figured you can't go wrong with a plate of chicken tenders, but they were literally just bread crumbs, no chicken. I would say you're there for the experience and definitely not the food.
Went with a bunch of girls for a bachelorette party, the food was great and we had a great time. But do not go there if you get "offended" easy. Our waitress was so fun and she had the service with sarcasm down pat, however she did not have the service part together. She had us and a table next to us. Two parties came in, ate, and paid before we even got our food. It took 30 minutes for drinks etc, now I understand she has other tables and things to tend to but if she can get two tables in and out before ours that is different. Never the less, she was super funny and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Our tween/teenage children wanted to experience Dicks so we stopped for lunch on a short visit to Nashville. The restaurant was mostly empty but several groups were seated in the same section. Our waiter had many tables and was pretty busy but still provided a fun experience and kept the comments funny but appropriate for my kids' ages. The food was typical bar fare and a bit overpriced. However we didn't go for the spectacular food, so it was just fine. We had a fun lunch.
Even though we had a reservation we had to wait 10 minutes, which I found annoying. It was what I was expecting. It was loud and crowded. However, it's always fun to be there. We had the Don't Be Shellfish Dip and it was great. I would recommend this place for a party or girls/guys night.
We went on a late Saturday afternoon. It was my friends bachelorette party, and after hosting my sister's bachelorette dinner at the Dicks in Chicago, I thought it would be a great choice to pick up our mood, but it wasn't. A dirty floor from the previous party was left all over, our service was extremelyyyyy slow (yes we were a large party, but it was a bit beyond that), and we didn't get any hats besides one for our bride at the very end of the meal. I wouldn't blame the server because she looked new and in the weeds, but it was definitely a huge damper on our weekend.
We went to Dick's last resort for their reputation. You know what I'm talking about, their rude waiters, the Inappropriate white hats and the loud and obnoxious service. What we got instead was the service you'd receive at a Red Robin's. The food was good, and our waitress was super nice, but that wasn't what the restaurant is supposed to be. The atmosphere was alright, but in the middle of the afternoon the staff didn't seem to want to pull out any extra stops than necessary. We had to ask for our drinks, straws, silverware, our appetizer. It was overall just a lame experience for the price. Super bummed!!!
