Dick's Last Resort - Myrtle Beach Ratings and Reviews
First time here we came for my daughters 18th birthday. We were in town for a softball tournament. The food was great and our waiter was awesome!!! Casey Nova. He did an excellent job. We loved him. He kept us laughing all night. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and when we come back we would definitely request him as our waiter!!!
You definitely go here for great FUN not great food! If you like to joke around and are not easily offended then you will have a great time. Service was excellent - we always had refills before we could request it and I got everything I asked for quickly. Our waiter, Jason, was funny and we had a great time bantering back and forth. Each person at the table gets a hat with a different insult written on it which kept us laughing the whole meal. The redneck fondue was good (tater tots with cheese dip), but simple. We had the chicky fried chicken and it was pretty good - nothing to brag about. It is served with cafeteria style mashed potatoes and green beans. In conclusion - This was a lot of fun for our group and we laughed a lot - the service was excellent, but again don't have high expectations for the food! In addition it is pretty pricey for the food quality so it's definitely better for a vacation experience or special occasion!
Server was hilarious and enjoyed the banter ( Megan) Food was incredibly slow (an hour or more) and part of the party's food was cold. They didn't bring out my daughters meal. Brought my mother in law sweet tea twice after telling them she couldn't have sugar. I understand the premise of this restaurant but come on ..
Our Waitress Savannah was awesome and absolutely hilarious, we all had such a great time, definitely a good place for a good laugh and a good meal. will definitely return if we're ever in the area again!! Rated the service a 1 star as a comment, not an insult 😂
Great restaurant. The waiter was very good. Fun atmosphere. Food was excellent. My only complaint would be with the margarita. I ordered a 45oz Margarita $25. It was loaded with ice, it probably had 24oz of actual margarita. I finished it in last than 10 min. I would definitely come back but would not order anything from the bar.
Our server was nice. The place is a fun time. But we waited for an hour and a half for our food. The food wasn't very good. It came out cold. The manager replaced it with hot food and took 20 percent off of the bill. But after waiting almost 2 hours for food that was served cold, I feel that the food should have been discounted more or free.
Way, way way overrated. We made a reservation and still was seated in the bar are away from the action. The service is OK. It was fun for a minute then just kind of got old. The food is terrible. I would rather have eaten fast food. Not worth the money in my opinion. I will not be back to any Dick's last resort.
If you want polite and politically correct this is _not_ the place for you. It can be raunchy and loud and exactly the kind of fun we were looking for!
Lots of jibes and jokes between all of the employees, ourselves and other groups. It was a ton of fun.
The food was a bit pricey, but it was in a resort town, so it wasn't a big surprise.
Went with the family on our last day of vacation in Myrtle Beach. Our waiter was great. We had (2) 13 yr olds with us and he kept it fun but PG-13. Food was not so great. Some dishes came out cold. Not luke warm but cold. One of the folks in our party is on a special diet and asked for dry ribs (no BBQ sauce) and garlic parm wings. Came out lathered in BBQ with the right wings - sent it back and came back with dry wings (no sauce) and BBQ wiped off of ribs... Great place to go for the atmosphere but I would suggest just ordering appetizers (nachos were good!)
