    I understand the premise of the theme at Dick’s but I was certainly hoping it wouldn’t spill over into their food. The food is absolutely horrible and extremely overpriced. The experience doesn’t make up for how bad the cuisine ultimately was. We ordered two different kinds of salads and a salmon dish. The salads were the worst part, how do you mess up salad? Dicks last resort can tell you . Do not try this restaurant

    The server did a good job of interacting with my autistic son. My kid shuts down, which made the server want to poke at him, but lightened up immediately and handled him calmly after that. It allowed my son to interact and have fun and was able to go along with the game by the end of the meal. Great server!

    The server was good and adapted well to our family with younger kids. The atmosphere was what I expected from Dick's Last Resort. The food was terrible. They were out of many menu items. The gator bites were mostly crumbs and some nearly burnt tortilla chips. It was like a game to find the gator bites. The bun on the burger we ordered was hard and old. The burger was way overcooked. The breading on the shrimp was way undercooked. The breading on the shrimp was extremely salty and overpowering. I "upgraded" to the cheesy tots which were a pile of tater tots with some cheese sauce dumped on top. One item was good was the salmon; however, the portion vs. the price paid was outrageous. The ribs were alright. We were not impressed... The service was fun but a fast food joint would have tasted better.

    I heard good things about this restaurant form my parents, who had a blast. Not so much for my husband and I. While the huge group next to us seemed to have a good time, we were merely called losers by our waiter and that’s it. Everyone in the restaurant had paper hats, we didn’t get any. If I’m paying that much for dinner and the atmosphere, I want to feel personally insulted by the time I leave. Waiter said his name was Fish. Not sure if that’s true. Also, the floor was filthy and sticky.

    For big parties, it’s a lot of fun. The food was ok. My shrimp were cold. My husband’s were hot. The margarita was really good. The table and everything felt sticky. They need to update it a bit. Our server Fish was great which made it fun. They work really hard there.

    They seated us right away but waited a bit for service. For a place that is supposed to be about the ambiance of entertainment and sarcasm there wasn’t much. Not even busy. They did really nothing special for the two birthdays because he said it wasn’t worth it without an audience. A few swear words by our waiter a few hats that made little sense for the age of the people with us. The food menu was limited and half got food and the other half waited for 10 minutes longer for sucky Mac and cheese or should I say noodles with a couple bacon bits and a watery cheese flavored sauce on it. Not worth the $120 with one alcoholic drink (which was the only plus) and one pop. Never asked how the food was but didn’t expect that.

    Empty restaurant. Waitress was not funny at all. She had no energy. Food/drinks were overpriced. Supposed to be a fun place and it was so boring. Would never go back

    My only complaint is that we were seated at the same table as another group, when there were plenty of other available tables. It was difficult to have a family conversation with one loud stranger at the same table.

    FOOD WAS NOT THAT GREAT ... IT WAS A 6 ON A SCALE 1 TO 10 AND WAS KIND OF HIGH I GOT THE ALLIGATOR BITES THERE 6 BITES THE SIZE OF A POP CORN KERNEL ..... NOT MUCH TO CHOSE FROM ON THE DINNER MENU .... I WOULD GO BACK BUT NOT TO OFTEN

    We arrived at 5:15, early in the evening with open tables in the restaurant. Our waiter Chris was awesome, but shortly after arriving, the restaurant filled up and then we learned there was only one cook working in the back. Our waiter went in the back to help the cook out, so we didn't see him for quite some time. We had a good time and some laughs, but 2 hours to get our food was too long. The staff did a great job managing the situation, but with one cook and many entree's not available as they ran out, it was obvious management needs some help here. Again, our server, and those we saw, were handling a tough situation as well as they possibly could. When the food did come out, it was pretty bad. Not a great experience, and judging from the short staff and running out of food, this isn't just a situation where the restaurant is victim to staffing challenges, it's clear that management needs help.

    When we got there we had a reservation at 7:15 and arrived forty-five minutes early and asked if we could be seated early, they told us they were too busy to accommodate early guests. We decided to walk around and returned 15 minutes early to find people checking in who had reservations at 7:30 at 7:00. I told her what had happened so she finally sat us. This was our first time here and I was really excited to see what the place was about. We were seated and our server Ryan told us as had the hostess that everything was just for fun and not to take anything serious. So he started out and we started ordering water. We are not pop drinkers in my house, however two of my daughters were a little intimidated so they did order pop, otherwise we all ordered water. His reactions were fun and the way he made us get our water from the railing, things were off to a good start. My husband and I are dieting and have a daughter who is watching her weight for prom so we decided we were going to share a couple meals as it was a late reservation and we were not really that hungry anyway and portion sizes are usually larger for dinner anyway. That is where things took a turn for the worse. The fun stopped. The waiter stormed away and said "well there goes my tip!" We thought it was part of the fun, but I guess not. Someone actually had to remind him that we needed silverware. We did not get refills on drinks. We did not get everything we ordered. We did not even get the fun hats with the sayings on them which is the ONLY reason we went there in the first place. We were SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED. Then I went to the front hostesses to ask to speak to a manager and they said "upstairs!". Not, "let me get one for you", or anything helpful like that, needless to say, when I went upstairs, there was nobody up there, not a single person. For three mediocre meals and two soda pops it was $67. Mind you, he would have had a very decent tip if our hats would have been have been on our heads.

    Not as fun as I was hoping. My 8 year old was trying to have fun with the waiter and he didn’t care. Was more attentive to the people next to us (also young kids) Large group was rude and loud. Sat on our bags and broke items Will not return or recommend

    The server was fun of course, the food was really good, but the margaritas were awful. For $15, we should have sent them back. Highly recommend the ribs!

    I believe the poor service we experienced was due to our waitress. I think she was just in too big of a hurry from talking so fast we couldn’t understand her to not getting our drinks before our meal. We were not seated “out of sight.” She walked by our table several times. There were waiters that I could clearly see were very good at what they do.

    We were seated quickly, but overall waited an hour and a half to be served our entrees. There were several open tables and we were told that a large group was pushing everything back. It's the MOA, if you can't handle large groups on a Sat night you need to review your operating strategy. While our server was attentive, she ended up polite and apologetic. It started snappy and sarcastic & entertaining but the long wait made everyone just wish the night would end. When we finally received our orders it was nothing special, seasoning was bland and sides were cold. It's a one and done stop for us. There was nothing notable other than our long wait. I expected more out of the decor, which seemed dated and dingy.

    Ursula was our server and she did a great job. She was funny and entertaining. That being said our food was HORRIBLE. I had the Cajun chicken pasta and the sauce literally was water. My husband’s chicken wings were okay, but tasted like they had been microwaved. We ordered beers and didn’t realize we ordered the souvenir cups so we had to pay for those. We also were sat at a table that was meant for 8 people and there were only two of us. Could be a fun place if we had a decent table and better food. Won’t risk it again though.

    Went here with some friends for the experience. We got seated and we ordered our drinks. Took over 25 minutes to get a Pepsi and a Mountain Dew. When I mentioned it the waiter he didn’t care (yes I’m aware their allowed to be “dicks” however I don’t think it should be taken as far as making a customers experience there terrible) and was not in any hurry to fix the problem. Our friend is allergic to cheese and orders it without, every burger that came out had cheese so we told our waiter. He brings a new burger out but no fries with it. Took another 25 minutes to get fries. When we got our food, it was horrible. The burger I could’ve easily made much better, the patty was so thin and for $15 I expected something better. I barely had any fries with my meal, maybe like 15 fries. It was just a sloppy mess and I wouldn’t recommend.

    I and my family (husband +3 sons-aged 11-16) visited Dicks Last Resort this past weekend. We were looking for a fun experience that would get us all laughing. This restaurant delivered. We all had a really fun time. Don't go there if your feelings are easily hurt or if you are afraid of being a little naughty. Can't lie...a couple times I could feel myself blushing because of what was being said in front of my kids but my family just rolled with it. This restaurant would be PERFECT for a group of friends that all have a warped sense of humor! Oh, by the way the food was great too. I recommend the ribs.

    Our server (Mietta) was GREAT! She toned down her "schtick" when I told her she had a table of "anxiety-ridden" teen-aged girls, and they all had fun in the end. The food was okay, but not worth the price. Our appetizer (nachos w/ chicken) took a long time, and the entrées came out too soon afterward...then we had to wait close to 10 minutes after entrée delivery to get forks and napkins. The burgers were slightly burned, and some of the shrimp (Shrimp-a-palooza) were overdone and some were underdone (9 shrimp shouldn't have been that inconsistent in my opinion).

    How do you write a review about a restaurant known for having cheeky service without sounding like the guy who didn't get the joke. Maybe we just hit the waiter on a bad night - he stated multiple times that he put in his 2 week notice and the place isn't well run. Other tables seemed to be getting better service with the waiters interacting. The artichoke / Kale appetizer was very good - granted he needed to apologize about the time it took to be delivered The dinners were a different ball of wax. I had the blackened chicken and pasta - the pasta was good but the chicken was dried out and way overcooked My wife had the steak salad - I tried a piece of her steak and it was tough and chewy again way overcooked.

    This is a weird review because you go to Dick’s for it’s bad service and mocking atmosphere. The price was obscene (much like the waiter) and the food was not up to par for what you pay. With that being said, it was a fun memory/experience which was my reason for going.

    Server told us to write our order down. Food didnt come out together. Had to ask for refills, silverware, the bill. Very little conversation with us. Expected rude, fun dinner but not even close.

    I brought a friend here from Canada for the experience. We went to the MOA specifically to eat here and didn’t do anything else at MOA. I find this place fun and have brought people here 3 other times. I planned a group birthday here, a bachelorette party and had brought my mother-in-law for her birthday. This visit was the WORST ever and will likely never bring my business again. The place was EMPTY, yet the hostess seated us a table where people were finishing up at the other end of the table. Yes, they were still sitting there when they seated us and not at the empty tables that were surrounding this particular table. And when that group left, they seated another group with us at the end of the table!! Yes, there were still all of the other tables directly surrounding us empty. Why would we need to share one table when nobody... NOBODY was at other tables around us. I asked the waiter, and he played with the theme, and said, “I don’t care about your opinion.” And I said, “no really, why would you seat people at the same table when the entire restaurant is empty?” He looked at me and walked away. Done with this place. I’m one customer who has brought groups of people into this restaurant, never again. It was awkward to be sitting with strangers and the group they sat us with was big enough to be sitting in the chairs next to us!

    We went (my children and I) excited for the antics. There really wasn't much "funny" minus the hats. The food is SO overpriced and it was not good. The restaurant seemed dirty. I'm not talking about the napkins they throw everywhere... just the general "grime" level. We tried it. It wasn't as fun as we'd hoped. The food was really bad and everything was WAY overpriced. Sorry... hoped it was better. It was really disappointing.

    Large group for teenage birthday. Unfortunately nothing special was done for the birthday boy. Waiter was more interested in the banter with adults on the end rather than the teens who were the ones the party was for.
