The menu is small but the food is incredible! The fried green tomatoes are a must. I had the black fish and it was excellent. The service was superb.

The food was outstanding. The grilled oysters and the roasted beets were perfect starters. The blackened drum was perfect. Geneva, the server, was very attentive and very sweet. All in all it was a wonderful experience!

We went for Valentines day. The Prix Fix menu included 4 courses plus a drink and was a great deal. All the courses were very good, although the dessert was a bit underwhelming. Servers and staff were friendly. Like many NOLA restaurants, Dick & Jenny's is in an old house. The decor is unique and fun. This is a great date spot, although there is plenty of room for people out to enjoy a good dinner as well. This was my second time and I would certainly come back for a third.

Great food. Early reservation. Seated right under freezing cold AC. Would have been nice to be offered a more comfortable seat elsewhere. Otherwise, great place.

The food was very good especially the roasted beets with goat cheese and pot au creme dessert. Valentine's Day special was good value and tasty as well...had one of each entree.

We went for a Valentine’s Day date and all courses were delicious. We especially loved the beets- they had an awesome and surprising kick! Also recommend the sous vide chicken. Will definitely be back!

We went for Valentine's day so I expected it to be busy, but the dinner took over 2 hours. The food was delicious and the server tried to appease the diners as best he could. We were seated in a row of two tops that were about a foot apart from each other. This was a very uncomfortable situation as we could hear and felt a part of the conversation of the tables next to us. As we were leaving there were about 5 tables waiting for their reservation, my guess is because the previous reservations had run so long. My suggestion would be to not squeeze in the two tops, take less reservations and you will make more money because your customers will be happy and you won't have to comp items. I truly love this place and will definitely dine here again, but most likely not for a day like Valentines Day.

Lots of problems w service. Took one hour to get our meal from the time the order was placed. Restaurant was woefully understaffed .
Fried oysters were way over salted.

The chef changed and the menu changed but neither was reflected on the website. The service was subpar and the food was ok. Desert was terrible and not properly cooked.

The menu is very limited, but do start with the chargrilled oysters - they were delicious! The chairs on the concrete floor made a lot of the noise over the patron voices, but food & service were good and we would definitely go back.

We arrived in time for their happy hour appetizer and drink specials. We ordered several appetizers and shared an entree and dessert. Bill came to around $75 including tip. It was a great way to sample their specialties in a relaxed setting. Delicious food and great service.

My friends and I were the last seating of the night and there was an initial miscommunication with a server that we were in their table. Instead, the manager took care of us. He quickly corrected things, gave us free roasted oysters (which were fantastic) and throughout the night was attentive and helpful. This restaurant is out of the normal path of a visitor to New Orleans, but will be added to my favorite list due to it’s comfort. We ended up being there visiting among friends well after most of the staff left, but never felt rushed. Everyone enjoyed the food ordered (oysters, boudin balls, gumbo, shrimp and grits, a special of the night) and though the menu is not long, it had a good variety for a few different dietary restrictions. Thanks for a great night!

This is our second New Year's Eve at Dick and Jenny's and yet another meal to remember!!!!!! From the service, to the drinks, to the food, everything was amazing! Thanks!
