Amazing food and service! Tom our waiter was awesome.... and the manager (didn’t catch her name) was also amazing ! Very attentive! Will definitely be a repeat customer
I can always trust that we will have happy guests when i suggest Diamonds ... reliably good all over
I've lived in two food meccas in my life...Columbus, OH and Dallas, TX. It can be hard to find excellent food in Michigan, for some reason. Not impossible, but it's not like the other places I mentioned where competition drives out a lot of crappy food establishments. For whatever reason, it has been my experience that this is not the case (5 year Michigan resident). Diamonds Steak & Seafood is an exception. I've been there twice, separated by a month or two - both times where amazing. Haven't ventured past the steak menu, but both times the food was mouthwatering. Every bite. Not just the steak, but literally everything else. Whoever made the menu, and whoever is the chef, is on their game! Again, I spent 7 years in Dallas...I know beef!
While it is a little pricy, I've spent twice as much and gotten nowhere near the quality of food and service at other places.
Nice attention to detail, all!
One of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at, and that includes all over the country. The first thing I saw on the Menu when we sat down was that the meat is supplied by Fairway Packing. I knew we were in for a great experience. Everything prepared was a ‘10’. We will be back and will recommend to anyone interested in a great dining experience..Yummy!
It was very nice. The food was great and so was the service. We will go again.
The service was very slow. Food was just ok for the price.
We had Jenna again and she did not fail we had great service and another wonderful meal Filet and Scallops were awesome
Dined at Diamonds for Fathers Day this year. My husband and I had the salmon, which was excellent as always. Our son, daughter-in-law and toddler grandson dined with us. The staff wisely seated us in the back where our rambunctious grandson wouldn’t bother the quieter diners. One of the waitstaff serving us was Caleb, and he was very attentive. A good time was had by all.
Our party of 8 went to Diamonds for their Father's Day brunch. It was a wonderful experience. They were momentarily out of eggs benedict and rather than have me wait for it, they delivered a fresh order to my table and asked if there was anything else from the buffet I missed and wanted! Exceptional service! Delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Very disappointed. Buffet located an uncomfortable distance away from our table. Most importantly, chafing dishes were empty for most food items so patrons were waiting in line for refills (so unacceptable). In addition, food was bland and not at all flavorful. So disappointed.
Jenna was awesome the service was great and the food was as good as always we love it here had Filet with scallops super good
Breakfast buffet price did not reflect the quality and service received. Wasn’t even that busy at the time. Will not return.
Diamonds has been our go to restaurant since they opened in their new location. Food is consistently fabulous, drinks are perfect and the wait staff is pleasant and engaging.
Overall, a great dinner out and the patio seating added to the enjoyment. Our server, Jade, did an EXCELLENT job in taking care of us!
High school graduation lunch
Made reservations a week in advance and was able to get an outdoor spot as requested. Excellent customer service. Thank you. Dave N.
Excellent filet, lobster and butter cake. The service was wonderful, too! We will certainly be back soon.
The food continues to be the same quality; however, we waited an hour for our food and the wait staff and manager were not kind in explaining the reason for the wait. Two tables that were sat after ours, with the same number of people, were served before us.
Service and food was fabulous!
LOVE this place!! The staff is second to none...so friendly and personable. I've had the filet tips and the crab cakes and both are wonderful. Food is flavorful and always cooked to perfection. Cocktails were very good as well. I hope nothing ever changes!!
Great date night, yet again. ☺️
We really enjoyed our evening. Good food, good service. Diamonds is becoming a new favorite for us.
Jade was amazing server. We would return and request her.
We've been to Diamonds several times and they have never disappointed! The service is excellent and the food is wonderful. The only downside is the noise level. My dad has hearing aids and has a hard time differentiating conversation. But he loved his Teriyaki Salmon. ☺
Great experience as always. The back room was very nice, able to have a conversation in a somewhat private area. Service was phenomenal. Food always top notch.
An upscale gem in Howell! Great attention to detail in decor, service, and presentation. Asparagus had woody stalks, which I did not mention to the server, because overall the taste of all selections was excellent. Low level of background sound allowed for excellent conversation. (And it didn't hurt that I was meeting with a gentleman with a dreamy British accent!)
Everything we had from the appetizers to our steaks was delicious and I can’t wait to come back again!
Went to Diamonds for Mother's Day dinner and had probably our worst dining experience ever. Had a reservation for 6:15 - didn't get seated until 6:45. After ordering drinks and appetizer, it took a good 45 minutes for the appetizer and bread to show up. Bread was cold. We kept being told dinner would come shortly. The manager stopped by to ask if we needed more drinks - not an offer of complimentary drinks mind you. It finally showed up at 8:15. Not surprisingly my steak was completely overcooked. We had to ask to have it removed from the bill - they did not offer only to cook another order. By the time we left it was after 8:30.
I get it - Mother's Day is very busy for restaurants but this was an extremely poor display of organization and customer service for a place that touts itself so highly. Diamonds was overbooked with large parties and I'm guessing the kitchen was understaffed. Either way it was a miserable experience for what was supposed to be a nice evening with the wife and kids. We will not be going back.
Unfortunately not at this time. Have eaten there 5 times so far and this time was not a good experience. Waited for almost 2 hours to get our meal. My steak was not cooked to what I had asked for. Waiter was barely existent, only came to table 2 times. They did apologize for it being so late and did give us a free dessert. I was disappointed because the other times we have went it was a great experience. Not sure if we will go back again.
Great place for special occasions. A bit expensive for everyday dining. Wines are very expensive
Took on way too many reservations and didn’t have the staff to take care of all of them. The kitchen was was behind and it took the server and hour to let us know that they were out of a meal that we had ordered. The manager ended up coming out to deliver food and brought half the tables food while the other half had to sit and wait and watch everyone else eat. It’s a beautiful place, food was good but completely not worth the wait at all.
The food was decent but pricy, not really worth the money. We were there for Mother’s Day so I understand that it was busy but we waited an hour for food then they brought everyone’s food except for the mother’s, who had to wait another 20 minutes for her food. The atmosphere was nice along with the decors. We won’t be back though.
Awful Mother’s Day experience- extremely disappointing and will not be back
Jacking up the price by 10.00 per person for Mother's Day seems a bit excessive, with very few extra options from your normal brunch. Ordered OJ never got it. No coffee refills during meal.
We had a wonderful mother's day brunch at Diamonds! The food was great, the "almost" bottomless Mimosas were very good! Great job 👍
What a great mother’s day event. Staff was great and the food didn’t disappoint.
Food was good. Increased price for Mothers Day was very unexpected. We would have made other arrangements if we new. Way to expensive for what we received. I will not return for a long time.
Food was delicious - shared spinach & artichoke dip appetizer, caesar salad & chicken cavatappi.
1. On our reservation, AND on arrival, I said that my husband was hard of hearing and we asked to be seated in quietest possible area. Instead, we were in the small semi-enclosed room with a LARGE LOUD group with a screaming, crying toddler (at 10:15pm!). They finally left just before 11pm - it didn’t make for a pleasant dining experience.
2. Waiter (Andrew D) was nice but service was slow and VERY inattentive, even though we seemed to be his only customers. He was talking so quietly that I could barely hear him & I have normal hearing.
3. Our bill was incorrect so we had to wait for that to be fixed.
4. We come here for special occasions and we were celebrating an anniversary (noted on our Open Table reservation) but, as always, it wasn’t recognized. If you’re not going to acknowledge them, then it shouldn’t even be asked!
5. As stated on a previous review, they REALLY need to do some work in the women’s restroom.
