Once we were seated it took 15 minutes to get in a drink order. The people who were seated after us had their drinks, appetizer and main course before we even got our chips and guacamole.
We ordered the Nachos...they were huge!!! There were only two of us, and there was easily enough left for at least one other person. Honestly, they were so good we contemplated going again before we left Vegas.
Reservation was made months in advance and it was not honored due to "new years eve on the las vegas strip". They tried to tell me I would have to pay $500.00 for my original reservation of table for 3.
New Years Eve. no wait (though we had reservations) GREAT service. The staff was extremely friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. They even recommended us ordering less so that we wouldn't waste food, or pay a lot of extra money for food we couldn't eat. We will visit again!
Great location on the Vegas strip. The service was excellent as is the atmosphere. The $4 tacos were small but tasty. My only complaint is that if you charge for chips & salsa then refills should be complementary.
We ate here 3 years ago and loved it BUT after this visit we will not be returning. The service was not great and extremely slow. The food was not good. The steak was over cooked and chewy and the chicken was not seasoned and and totally flavorless. Such a shame because the atmosphere is really great.
Bar was excellent upstairs, However before we went up stairs we stopped in at the resturant down stairs this was on Saturday Nov 21 2015. The manager working that evening was very rude and not friendy at all,he was a tall caucasian gentelman. I have visted Diablos before and always had a great time there. But this manager was really something else. I dont know if my opinon even matters about my experiance, but this guy has no reason being a manager.
I was staying at the Monte Carlo and stopped here for a quick bite after flying in to town. The Margs and chips and salsa did the trick, but the fish tacos were a bit suspect. Would not return to eat food, but would to drink. Pretty mediocre but convenient location.
The appetizers were amazing! The queso fundido was the best, and the guacamole was a close second. We ordered meals as well, but thought the appetizers were better than the meals and wished we had just stayed with appetizers and drinks. Large drink selection as well and the margaritas were very good.
I took my partner to Diablo's for her birthday dinner before the show. Diablo's was recommended by hotel staff as a better option than the place I was considering previously. I have always wanted to go to Diablo's but was nervous that it would be too rowdy for a nice dinner. I was shockingly surprised and my assumptions were blown away! I don't know how you do it but the crowd of the bar seems to disappear once you step into the dinning area. It wasn't too loud. We were able to talk to each other without yelling even though we were seated on the balcony above the bar area. Our service was great and the food and drinks were amazing!!! Best guacamole I have ever had at a restaurant! And the drinks were strong! You truly get what you pay for at Diablo's. Thank you for being a great start to a birthday evening that will go down as one of the best she's ever had!
It was busy and we're kind of forgotten by the server....saw her only about 4 times!
No mention about celebrating a bday even noted @ opentable.
Food was salty!
We chose this eatery for my 40th birthday celebration with friends, and it was just perfect. The waitress was awesome, the service was very timely, the food was exceptional, the cocktails were strong and continued to flow throughout dinner. The atmosphere was exciting, but not over the top. We all had a fantastic time! We will definitely be back!
Went for dinnner and were seated right away. Table was quite small, could hardly fit food and drinks on it. Service was average, waitress wasnt very friendly didnt even smile. But the saving grace was the food. The street tacos were amazing, pork with a delicious marinade and toppings. My husband had the 5 layer quesidilla which was huge and delicious also as were the loaded potato skins.
Good food, friendly staff.
Enjoyed the Happy Hour drink specials and the guacamole is AMAZING!! The fajitas are large enough for two to share with the salsa and chips. Really enjoyed celebrating my husbands birthday at Diablo's!
We sat on the 2nd floor overlooking the strip. Nice view
I read bad reviews prior to going here, went anyway...Reviews were all absurd.. The food was exceptional and we ordered ton's of different items. Everything excellent and big portions. wait staff fun, efficient, very friendly. The action on the strip was fun to watch and eating in the bar area was the best place to be. NFL was on tvs. I wish I was there again tonight !
Our server Essence was friendly and fast! Prices are to be expected in vegas, but on the lower end compared to most places! Food was tasty! We will definitely be back for happy hour!
The food was good overall. I was celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday and we told our server this she offered a choice of cheesecake and chocolate cake and we chose chocolate cake. It was good but only after I had paid and later looked at the bill that I noticed I had been charged for it when I thought it was complementary!
Maragaritas were sweet and contained a very limited quanitity of alcohol if any. The food was bland and the sausa was tepid. The service was quick but the food and ambience were not what I expected.
Service and Food was Great i would definitely come back
I use to LOVE Diablos but this time around they've must've changed chefs & bartenders. I always order the massive steak nachos, what they fail to mention now in the menu is that they now put nacho cheese mixed with a little bit of regular cheese👿 not a good mix let alone flavor, they use to just use real cheeses. Next $39 for a pitcher of mojito, aka a pitcher of old brown mint leaves, more than half a pitcher of ice & water NO alcohol not even a hint of it. Very disappointed as this place use to be great. Not coming back in a few months either.
The menu and food was good.
The Margaritas were: on the rocks watery and tasteless; blended sweet and like a 7/11 slushie.
The only reason we booked this restaurant was because it has an upstairs patio. Booked it for the view and the location. Was COMPLETELY shocked when we got there and were told they did not serve food on the upper level. What?? What's the point of having this great location if your guests can't even order wings up there????? Would NOT recommend. Would NOT return.
They should have that information on the website.
We went here for a snack and margarita during happy hour. The location and view is fantastic, but the staff will treat you poorly if you don't buy a bunch of stuff. There are other places to go besides here with better food and friendlier staff.
Great jalapeño margaritas!
Great place to hang out and watch the crowd walk up down strip. Service was great. Food however I thought was only fair. I had the pork street tacos w tortilla soup.
The serving staff are amazing! The manager is the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever laid eyes on! He pushed his friends to the front of the queue and have them the table we had been waiting for, then sat and eat and drank with them in front of us
Birthday celebration in sin city....fun and lively place to dine before The Blue Man Group
Pretty good food. Waitress was great but wearing an unnecessarily skimpy outfit for the clientele (I know it's vegas but it just seemed ridiculous). I would go again without a doubt if not for the noise. Nearly unbearable and off putting so I would have to consider that.
I booked a table at Diablo's because my friends and I were in Las Vegas celebrating my sisters 30th and she has always like the atmosphere and vibe of the place on her previous visits. When I booked a table I did request some information about the restaurant and whether I could pay for any 'extra's' in advance, but nobody ever got back to me - even to say that they don't cater for any 'extra's', which was disappointing.
I thought the food, cocktails, and atmosphere were great and the menu really reasonably priced. However, all the way through our meal we felt rushed by the waitresses. Before I'd finished eating they were clearing away my friends plates and so you were really aware that they wanted the table for someone else. By the end of the meal - I was left eating on my own - whilst my friends plates were cleared away. I appreciate they are a very popular place but service could definitely be improved. I'd go back again - but probably just for a quick lunch.
.Party of three had reservations. Sat at the bar and were lucky enough to get three seats in a row .Watched the wheel spin from a good vantage point. Disappointing that there were no free chips, but the entrees were good. Needed to leave to see a show. Would stop by again.
Fine if you want a beer on the strip but too noisy and crowded to enjoy a meal. Limited menu. We waited for 40 minutes for a table when they did not have our OPEN TABLE reservation. Took one look at the menu and got up and left. If you are 20 years old and looking for a rowdy bar this is your place. We went inside to the Italian restaurant across from the theater where BLUE MAN was playing and had a delicious meal.
After my res was confirmed online an employee called to say he needed me to call him back. He did not say if he was a manager or what the call was about. I tried calling and was never able to get in touch with this employee. Not one employee could answer any of my questions or even tell me if my res was still good. I never heard back from anyone at the cantina and our group was left hanging without a guaranteed spot to watch the Superbowl.
The energy of this restaurant hits you the moment you walk in off the strip. The sounds of laughter and people having a great experience is evident. Flavors like you have never enjoyed no matter what the dish you order. You must start with the guacamole accompanied pico! No matter if you eat beef or chicken the taste will send you whirling. Exceptional service, friendly and attentive without being annoying.
A must stop while in Vegas!
I went in expecting nothing special, but was impressed with the service, and especially with the quality of our dinner. A truly tasty meal!
Service was bad, food was very average, doesn't open until noon though Open Table has it available for reservations beginning at 11 am.
I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas and my husband ordered the Diablo burger. The fajitas were just ok and not memorable. My husband's burger was good. Overall, I will remember the restaurant's decor and not the food or quality of service.
Great food and selection! Be prepared to pay twice the amount than what you would normally pay for a Mexican meal. House margarita, paid $10....meh....stay with water to keep your expenses down. When busy, very loud, be prepared to yell a bit during a conversation.
Some of the finest Mexican food that I've eaten. Was upset that they didn't have posole or menudo on the menu. Other than that, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for Mexican food in Sin City.
In the past, I have raved about Diablo's. The food is amazing. Best for it's style in Vegas. I love the over sized drinks too. I have never had a bad experience prior. In short the service was very slow, the restaurant was not busy. The food came out hot and it was great. I just could not figure out why the waitress was so absent after that point. We asked other servers for more drinks and even the check. Once she did appear with the checks they were incorrect. This I can overlook with corrections made and our large party. I can not look past her absentee after dinner was served. That is no was to earn you tip that is already included and at 20 percent. In the future if I have the same experience, I will not be obliged to tip the restaurant's recommended amount.
One suggestion includes allowing two servers for larger parties.
Than you for asking about my experience.
