We’d been a few times before and everything was great. Service was good although considering there were only a handful of other people there, I feel like the food could’ve come a good deal quicker. Food was good but not as good as previous visits. Overall a great experience though.

While the overall experience was very good. We were not happy with how the eggs were cooked. The were all scorched. It seem as if the grill or skillet was to hot or the cook was not paying attention. We sent two back to be redone. One came back ok the other was well done vs medium.

All the other food was excellent.

The food was EXCELLENT and the service was even better. We ate there 2 nights in a row and both nights were great. I highly recommend this restaurant and resort.

This was very nice. We were skeptical when we walked in considering we were the only table but since it was a Sunday night we figured most of the hotel guests probably checked out in the morning. We wanted to try it out since we spent the day at the spa for our 2 year wedding anniversary. The server was great and, so was the food and they even gave USA black forest cake complimentary for our anniversary which was so good! We will be back for sure.

Good overall and a quite place for conversation, they need to Add back the Salmon entree.

Overall, my experience was satisfactory. I made reservation weeks in advance of the date. I went to the restaurant the Monday before (dinner was on Saturday) to confirm and go over details. Because of the size of our party (17 at the time), I was assured that we would be sitting in the middle section of the restaurant, which is elevated. I told them that I would arrive early to ensure everything was going as planned.

When I arrived on Saturday, there were three gentlemen at the host(ess) station. I was told then that another party would be sitting in the elevated section and we would have to settle for another section of the restaurant. When I inquired as to why, the manager stated that the other party had booked earlier. The manager could NOT confirm that the reservation was made before mine. In fact, when I pressed him and told him that I was assured of sitting in the elevated section, he could only drop his head, shrug his shoulders and say they booked the section. The other gentlemen standing around could only smile and try to sell me on the section I would be relegated to.

I was not pleased and I'm sure they noticed. This is the reason I rated this visit as satisfactory. I and my family have eaten here many times; pleasant experiences. Not so much this time. And we (I) will really have to consider if we will dine here again.

A group of college friends met at the Grandover hotel for a reunion weekend. We decided to dine here because it was easy and the reviews were good. We had an outstanding meal and the best service I can recall in quite some time. The entrees were all amazing - several of us had the sea bass. Desserts were also very memorable as was the wine list. I cannot say enough great things about our server - she was personable and incredibly attentive. All in all, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. I will certainly return there when we are in the area!

Overnight stop in Greensboro area. Found this restaurant and booked the reservation. Was a wonderful dining experience. Walked the grounds a little after dinner. Beautiful place.

The servers were very nice but it was very overpriced for the portions and quality. Not bad but not great either.

DI Valletta Restaurant is always a favorite for special occasions. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Hannah greeted us, talked to us and led us to our table. Stephanie was our server. She was marvelous. She was knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Mr. Nance greeted and spoke with us. The food was delicious. The fish and steak meals were the best. The desserts were so exceptional. The restaurant is the most beautiful in the Greensboro area. The garden view table was so lovely. We will be back for future special occasions. Thank all of you for a wonderful 50th anniversary celebration.

Great place and friendly atmosphere. Wait staff was wonderful, and very knowledgeable. My wife had the Chilean Seabass that blew both of us away. I had the penne pasta with lobster and crab cream sauce...wonderful!! If you like the upscale, fine dining experience with a beautiful and elegant ambience to match, look no further. The DiValletta is the place for you!!

Anniversary

I love this restaurant for special occasions! It is our “go to” for Sunday Breakfast or Brunch.

We went for lunch and i was hoping for a rib eye steak since this was going to be our main meal for the day. But the hostess informed us they don't serve dinner items at lunch (I'm sure they must have had a ribeye in the meat refrigerator somewhere !!). She said it was "chef's policy". So I got the salmon -which was delicious and my wife got a lobster roll. "Chef Policy" needs to be changed to accommodate customer wishes. I can understand not offering items like Prime Rib or baked potatoes which need to be cooked ahead of time. But you can't serve a rib eye at lunch-ridiculous !!

We came on a Friday, and were surprised at how empty it was. If not for the 3 large tables, there might have been 30 people total.
Maybe we had higher expectations, but overall disappointing. Service was ok, not great. Charcuterie plate looked like they went to Harris Teeter, no jams or jellies, just basic sliced cheese.
Bourbon selection was lacking, martini was good.
Overall we were not impressed and probably will not go back

Food was outstanding. Great value. The variety was great. View from table to back courtyard was pleasant. Landscaping ie weeding and mulch need some work. Spider webs and debris on windows took away from the view. Wouldn’t expect this from a 5 star resort. Overall very worthwhile and will return for other things on the menu to try.

Was not aware that the restaurant no longer offered the buffet brunch. The menu items were ok, but was really looking forward to the brunch options that had been offered the first time I ate at the restaurant.

The service, the choices, the recommendations by staff and the value. It is a hidden gem.
It was perfect for our 1 night getaway. we didn’t have to leave the resort but it didn’t feel like we were in a hotel bar.
