The waitress was wonderful and the front desk very accommodating. My only complaint is the gluten free bread. When the restaurant first began to serve the bread it was melt in your mouth warm and moist. The last three times I have come the bread is warm and stale. Our waitress brought out fresh and I didn’t want to disappoint her so I told her it was great. It was warmer and stale.
Food is consistently good which is why I return. The peppermint ice cream with hot fudge is the best.
Best restaurant in northern suburbs. Always consistently good service and good food.
I was disappointed in the New England fish fry basket. The quality of the fish was good, but the basket came with an abundance of french fries and only two thin pieces of fish. For the price, this was really disappointing. Would not recommend it unless you really like the french fries!
From the bread (impressive) to the calamari appetizer to each of our dinners - skirt steak, filet mignon, roasted trout and horseradish encrusted white fish over sautéed spinach (outstanding)- we were delighted with our selections. Portion size was perfect- not skimpy or excessive.
Seated at a mid-room table despite open table request for quieter table for guest with hearing aids.
Solid LEY property. Bustling but with enough space to talk. The food was good and a value for the money The service was fine. We were there later so our server was probably at the end of her shift. It’s a nice spot and I’ll definitely return.
Thanks Pedro. Had a great night. Great waiter.
I been their a handful of time the food and service is
And yet another perfect evening at Di Pescara. A very special thank you to our server Kristen for making our Valentine's Day dinner fun.
It is one of our favorites. We go there often. Love it.
We went for Valentines Day dinner. Couples and families alike were enjoying each other’s company in a characteristically stylized and comfortable LEY setting.
We both had fish. My Corvina special had a tasty crispy crust accompanied by perfectly grilled Brussels sprouts and cherry tomatoes. Portions were generous as was our shared yummy chocolate mousse cake dessert.
Loved our server Pedro.
Food was amazing ❤️
Tilapia was fishy! Ordered hot and crunchy but only got crunchy!
Upon our arrival, the hostess said there was no record of our reservation. Also, the Open Table site typically includes places to indicate special occasions and special requests -- neither of which appeared at the time I made the reservation. This was a birthday time and we would have requested a booth.
this was the third time I've hosted a business dinner with customers at Di Pescara. We always enjoy the food, beverage choices and excellent service.
A friend and I met at the restaurant to enjoy a nice dinner and socialize. It was the first time both of us had been to the restaurant. We were both pleasantly surprised by the wine we were recommended. It was really very good. Our meals were also wonderful and cooked to perfection. The waiter was very attentive but also gave us the space we needed to enjoy our conversation. He also gave us wonderful information about options on the menu. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to my friends and family. It is a very small space so I would suggest making reservations. The location inside Northbrook Court is convenient and parking, especially in the evening, is very easy.
Love love love
Very attentive service but in a very good way (not like pushing us out the door)
I had the roasted salmon with green beans, which was outstanding and we ordered the chopped salad for the table which was delicious. Everybody at our table had a fish entrée and everybody enjoyed their meal. We dined around 7:45 pm on a Saturday night and it was quite noisy, but we still enjoyed our meals.
A nice room with a fun feel. The menu has a good range of choices. Service is attentive and pleasant. I like this place!
Wonderful fish entree
Great onion rings
Cool and crispy salad
It was my wife's birthday and she loves this place (we've been here many times over the years), but this time, me not so much. The food was fine but more bland than I recall, and they have really upped their prices. I was going to order some of their sushi rolls, but they were more expensive than a really good place that only sells sushi. I got a Caesar salad with salmon. The salad was so chopped up I couldn't tell it was romaine. The salmon was yummy. She enjoyed her gnocchi with vodka cream sauce which was actually good the next day too. I think what put me off was the service. Although she was competent, we had to ask for bread (that other tables had as soon as they sat down) and pepper (which other tables had too). She brought us a delicious lava cake on the house. So, it was good, I just remember it being great.
We had a fantastic pre-Valentine dinner. The steak, lobster and chocolate cake and crème brûlée Valentine specials were delicious. We also received fantastic service from our waiter Chris.
I usually love this place--I come often. this day however was poor--poor salads--both of us. I was disappointed--sorry! Wendi
Food was not as good as in the past. Something was a bit off. Service was great. The ambiance is nice but it is pricy for what you get.
The food was excellent and the service was perhaps the best we have had in many years.
This time we had the special early bird menu. My pet peeve is that you have to mention it they do not give you these menus when you come in at this time. This is not right
The food was great. We shared the Grilled Artichoke and the Tuna Tar Tar appetizers, both were very tasty! Two of us ordered the White Fish, both were prepared differently but excellent.
I live in the city, but when I meet one of my friends from the suburbs, we always end up at Di Pescara. I’ve never been disappointed.
