First time at Di Pescara, was very pleased!
Great food, especially the homemade peppermint ice cream with hot fudge!!
Took our son out for dinner before returning t school. All three orders served wrong. Asked fr no dressing on seafood salads and both came with dressing. When brought back was told they were new salads but very apparent they were the same with lettuce changed out. Skirt steak was requested with a spicy relish and served without. When my son was finished eating the relish came. Waiter was nice enough knowing what happened to bring two fresh pieces of salmon but too late.
Our waitress was fabulous - I wish I knew her name - our order was delivered perfectly
I was surprised that our server said nothing about the anniversary we were celebrating
Goos experience except that the noise level seemed to be turned up a notch on the particular day we were having lunch together so it made conversation difficult. Our serve was very upbeat and efficient, which made lunch even more enjoyable.
I love this place and have been there many times. This is the first time I did not enjoy my meal. I had Chicken Milenese and I thought it was very bland, disappointed. I will certainly go back but not for that dish.
Very efficient & prompt service throughout arrival & dining experience. Food is reliably good - well prepared, great ingredients & taste. Yummy tomato basil soup is best around! Warm bread served with oil/cheese (or butter) is ample & delicious. Fish always tastes fresh & interesting preparation. Substitutions allowed too for veggies is another example of how accommodating staff is!
I’ve had better service & come to expect that @ a Lettuce restaurant. I had the tuna & salmon poke bowl & it was delicious. We were never served water & had to ask for bread. Also we asked for remaining lunch to be prepared to go & ordered desert to go & inadvertently left it on the table (not their fault) but took some time departing due to physical disability ( so very slow) and had the server been more cognizant we wouldn’t have left it behind.
Always good food and good service. Portions seem to be getting smaller as prices rise...
We are usually extremely happy with Di Pescara. However, 2 things happened that made us disappointed.
The day after our meal, we had friends call us. Apparently, they came to the restaurant a little later than us. Knowing that we were celebrating a birthday, they sent a dessert to us. Unfortunately, we did not receive it. We noticed that the table next to us received a dessert that had been sent to them and they couldn't understand why they had gotten it. Everyone was VERY disappointed to learn that the wait staff delivered it to the wrong table.
The second item that was disappointing was that I didn't get all of my leftovers packaged. I had fish and mashed potatoes - the potatoes were missing.
After roughly 50 visits to DiPescara, I will defiantly say the service had gone way down hill.
Frequent diner and never disappointed regardless of what menu items we order
We have been here before a few years ago and thought the food was great. This time we were a little disappointed with the food. The shrimp app had very small shrimp like you would get at an apple bees. The short rib was tasteless and the scallops were very salty.
have never had a bad meal here. a little noisy, but the great food and service even out the entire dinner.
We had a very nice table in the back which was really nice since it was very noisy in the main dining room. We enjoyed some nice cocktails and a delicious shrimp cocktail. My husband had a great fish special & I enjoyed a delicious filet. Our waiter was excellent. Thanks
Seafood was great. Bread and oil were exceptional. Service could have been better. All around a great experience.
The tomato bisque was exquisite. The peppermint ice cream was also delicious!
The food was very good and the service was very good. We will come back.
Regular diner. Never disapppinted. Honor reservations and excellent service.
This is one of our go to restaurants. The food is always good! The menu has a great variety! Our favorite server is Marco. So if we can get in his station it always a bonus. For dessert don't miss the delicious peppermint ice cream.
All the food is great but the Crispy Shrimp Pescara is AMAZING!!!
Everyone was very nice and attentive. The food was very good and we were given time to talk and enjoy.
Service staff was patient and attentive with our party that included three children.
The waitress was wonderful and the front desk very accommodating. My only complaint is the gluten free bread. When the restaurant first began to serve the bread it was melt in your mouth warm and moist. The last three times I have come the bread is warm and stale. Our waitress brought out fresh and I didn’t want to disappoint her so I told her it was great. It was warmer and stale.
Food is consistently good which is why I return. The peppermint ice cream with hot fudge is the best.
Best restaurant in northern suburbs. Always consistently good service and good food.
French Fries are kind of weird. Everything else was wonderful.
I was disappointed in the New England fish fry basket. The quality of the fish was good, but the basket came with an abundance of french fries and only two thin pieces of fish. For the price, this was really disappointing. Would not recommend it unless you really like the french fries!
From the bread (impressive) to the calamari appetizer to each of our dinners - skirt steak, filet mignon, roasted trout and horseradish encrusted white fish over sautéed spinach (outstanding)- we were delighted with our selections. Portion size was perfect- not skimpy or excessive.
Seated at a mid-room table despite open table request for quieter table for guest with hearing aids.
Solid LEY property. Bustling but with enough space to talk. The food was good and a value for the money The service was fine. We were there later so our server was probably at the end of her shift. It’s a nice spot and I’ll definitely return.
Thanks Pedro. Had a great night. Great waiter.
I been their a handful of time the food and service is
And yet another perfect evening at Di Pescara. A very special thank you to our server Kristen for making our Valentine's Day dinner fun.
It is one of our favorites. We go there often. Love it.
We went for Valentines Day dinner. Couples and families alike were enjoying each other’s company in a characteristically stylized and comfortable LEY setting.
We both had fish. My Corvina special had a tasty crispy crust accompanied by perfectly grilled Brussels sprouts and cherry tomatoes. Portions were generous as was our shared yummy chocolate mousse cake dessert.
Loved our server Pedro.
Food was amazing ❤️
Tilapia was fishy! Ordered hot and crunchy but only got crunchy!
