Devon Seafood Grill - Philadelphia
This was my first time coming to this restaurant and I must admit I am very pleased. I am a tough one to please especially being a picky eater but the food was AMAZING overall. The only thing I didn’t too much care for was the lobster Mac n cheese . Being a huge fan of Mac n cheese I was disappointed. The only reason why I didn’t give service 5 star is because after finishing dinner, the waitress asked how everything was and how I liked the Mac. I made a face and she continued and said “wasn’t good right?” As If she knew I ordered something that wasn’t up to par. I would have appreciated if she removed it from the bill since I only took one bite. But other than that she was great. Overall the experience was amazing and I will definitely be back. Just don’t order the Lobster Mac 🙃
Everything was great , the only con is being sat by the glass doors and it being freezing
Service was impeccable. Food was very good.
We had a larger party (7 ppl) and they didn’t seem to have the table set for 7 it was set for 6 so we had to ask them multiple times for extra place settings. But it was great otherwise, food was fantastic our server was great as well.
Food was good -service was great. Only downfall- it was freezing in there.
This was our first time here. We went during restaurant week. We were not disappointed! The food was amazing. We had a medley of seafood- tuna, salmon, shrimp, scallops, crab cakes. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Our waiter Cesar was very attentive even though the restaurant was packed. This is a great place to get amazing food and be pampered. We will definitely be back!
Excellent quality food & preparation. Knowledgeable staff
The only good part about the food was the lobster bisque. Everything else was just not tastful or appealing. The service was sub par and I felt like I was a bother the entire meal. Just not a good experience overall.
This was my second time. This time I came with my best friend. We enjoyed every moment. From the food the service and the timeliness. Our server Donte was awesome.
Despite the madness of restaurant week at lunchtime, my table had the best server! She was so prompt and attentive without being overbearing. I enjoyed my lunch and would do it again. I’ve never had a bad experience with food at Devon.
Good is delicious. Always enjoy eating here
Always a wonderful experience. The food was superb. Brigid was fantastic. I’ll be returning.
Great place...good service..a Must visit lovely place to eat...Period.!!
went to Devon for restaurant week
excellent value nice ambiance and great Service
The drinks were very poorly made. We had the restaurant week cocktail special. What a waste of great Japanese whiskey. Yuzu plus lemon but all you could taste was lemon. The entire glass was just lemon juice. It over powered the rest of the drink.
With three people we tried to have variety and each order a different entree from the restaurant week. The maple glazed Salmon was the best. The crab cakes were great too, mostly just crab meat, very little filling, but the sides that came with each dish were pretty underwhelming. Asparagus with the crab cakes were bitter and otherwise tasteless. Lobster risotto that came with my seared scallops had zero lobster flavor nor taste and the flavor didn’t mix well with the scallops (probably because it was missing the lobster/seafood taste). Tasted like a vegetable risotto. I didn’t bother trying the sides with the salmon because it seemed they weren’t very good at pairings.
We ordered all 3 of the dessert options, determined to try everything. All 3 were disappointing unfortunately.
Devons was a great time. Our server was entertaining and on point- and acknowledged our celebration and handled a crowd well. The food and drinks were Devine.
I was there for Restaurant Week and had the crab cakes. The food was superb from salad through dessert. I had an early reservation and was seated promptly. The place was packed and the noise level was very high. The dinner was spoiled by a number of customers who didn’t know how to act in public. I’m not sure what if anything the management can do about this. The saving grace was the great value and the attentive but not intrusive service.
Our waiter Dontae was very good and attentive and the food was delicious
We had an Excellent server Felicia. The food was delicious and enjoyed by the entire party. The seating ..a table in the back slightly obscured allowed for conversation without struggling to hear because of the noise level. The menu selection for restaurant week was worth the price.
The food was delicious. We had to wait a half hour past our reservation standing in the lobby. Then we were seated in the bar which was ultra noisy. The service was excellent but the table was squashed in the corner and not comfortable.
I have always loved Devon! Great service and food. Drinks aren’t too bad either!!
Went there for restaurant week. Food was delicious (especially the lobster bisque). It was a little noisy but not in a negative way. This is my second time going to Devon Seafood Grill and will definitely be back.
Nice quick dinner
Great first experience! The man who brought out the bread was very entertaining. The entire staff was very accommodating and friendly. They genuinely looked happy to be there despite the crowds and frustrations of Restaurant Week. Will definitely be back!
Great service great food I will be back. Thanks to all my servicer.
the food was very good and the customer service was great also
Best spot in Rittenhouse Square area for a business lunch. You can carry on a conversation, unlike many other area restaurants. Tables are far enough apart that you don't end up wanting to chime in on the next table's conversation. Food is uniformly excellent, and service prompt, efficient, and professional.
Yummy Yummy in my tummy! Try the lobster bisque! really good biscuits.
Meal was pretty good. Honestly not bad. Is this long enough to be considered an official review now??
The lunch was during restaurant week. We hadn’t been to Devon but now that we went to the restaurant we surely will return. Great restaurant week menu.😃
The waiter Sinclair was excellent, the food delicious, the atmosphere cozy & warm. I will be returning very soon.
Over priced food. Servers and staff are friendly and nice. Very attentive.
My party and I were pleased with the food and the service. Although, we decided to try this establishment during restaurant week in Philadelphia, we will be back to choose from the regular menu. Thank you.
We had an amazing time while visiting from Dallas. Our server (Devon) was impeccable - so friendly, helpful and attentive. He made our dining experience so enjoyable!
Our food was delicious - we had lobster bisque, scallops, crab cakes, and chocolate cake for dessert. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family!
The food was really good, but we got seated pass our reservation time.
Service was excellent. Food delicious as always
Great opportunity to try this restaurant at a savings for restaurant week and half price wine bottles on Sundays to boot. Our meals- salmon and steak frite - were very good and the berries with crime anglaise for dessert were excellent. I would definitely come again; however, there was one issue as the lettuce in my salad had a bit of grit so please advise the kitchen to do more thorough washing! My waitress was excellent. I enjoyed the atmosphere even though a bit noisy.
Not the greatest services
