Great food, service was outstanding
Highly recommend, for any occasion
Food was ho hum. Only 2 kinds of salad dressing and the lobster rolls had corn kernels which didn’t really enhance the flavor
Excellent thank you.
Would of given this place 5 stars but service was very slow and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Took for ever just to refill our drinks. And didn't corn by often to see how we were doing. They didn't even offer us bread. I've been here once before and had excellent service so maybe we just had a bad waiter this time
Our server Janet was excellent. The crab cakes are the best.
Seafood is always great here, well prepared and presented with two sides. The lobster bisque and spicy creole gumbo are great starters to accompany the warm biscuits and honey butter. Enjoyed a bottle of wine, half price every Sunday. Our server Adrianna provided excellent service to top off the evening.
The walleye and Halibut were exceptional - Mark is always amazing and we love having him serve us - chose the lounge to have him serve us - the guy is great as are all the staff but he is a cut above
I have to say I have dined here many times, and have had great experiences. I had heard they changed their menu, so I was looking forward to seeing what was new to try. We had reservations, and were seated shortly after arrival. Our waiter Oscar came, briefly answered our menu questions and took our drink order. I told him we were celebrating my friend’s birthday. He brought our drinks and took our food order. That’s the last we saw of Oscar for quite a while! Different staff brought us our food orders throughout the meal. Our drinks had gone dry including the water. No one ever came by to see if we needed refills. We were inches from the table next to us and when we asked that waitress if we could have more water she said I’ll find your waiter. Again, no one came. We finished our meal and the busboy came to clear our plates. We still had not seen our waiter so we asked if he could find him since we still had dessert coming and we’re quite thirsty! The busboy refilled our water glasses. Finally Oscar returns asking if we needed anything else just as the busboy was returning with our drink refills. Someone else again brought us our desserts, with no recognition of my friend’s birthday. Before we took our first bite, here was Oscar bringing us the check. About 5 minutes later he was back to pick up the check payment. I politely told him we just started our desserts and would be ready to pay shortly. About 15 minutes later he returned, we payed and got ready to leave. Oscar never did come back to collect the check. We did however see him at the hostess stand talking to the 2 girls working at the counter. Too bad he couldn’t have been as attentive to his patrons as he was to those hostesses! The food was good, the service definitely sub par! Definitely a disappointing visit, especially for a special occasion!
Overall it was a great dining experience! Food was delicious, and our server was great. My only complaint would be that we stated our reservation was for a special date night, however we were seated at a 4-top smack dab in the middle of the restaurant. While I would understand if they were busy, they were not at the time we were seated. Roughly 30 minutes later, and table was seated so close next to us that we could hear each other's conversations.
Good food as usual but our waitress was a bit over the top. We kept telling her we were not in a hurry, but she wouldn’t leave us alone.
The food but our server wasn't that good
Excellent happy hour with an extensive menu. Great drinks! Will go back.
This is our favorite restaurant and our go-to place when we get together with friends or relatives. No surprises. The food and the atmosphere are consistently great.
Outside dining was very nice and comfortable. We were there for lunch, good food but a bit pricey.
Love the crab cakes. Miss the lava cake which they took off menu.
Good good and service but front desk very slow - we had to ask to be seated as they were running 25 mins behind scheduled reservations
Our waitress, Nicole, was a sheer delight! Knowledgeable, personable and VERY attentive to our needs! All 4 of us had seafood-2 people had yummy lake perch, one person had rainbow trout as well as a maple glazed cedar plank salmon. All of us had RAVE reviews! It was a spectacular restaurant to spend Mother’s Day together as a family!
We were there to celebrate Teo birthdays and Mother’s Day. We’ve been there before and love the food and atmosphere. Our server was delightful and courteous; definitely attentive. It was a slight wait when we arrived but it was Mother’s Day! It was to be expected. I would definitely recommend Devon’s.
Devons is my absolute favorite restaurant. The service is always superb!
We have been coming to Devon's for Mother's Day for 3 years now. We are pleased with the price and options available for mother's day. I also come here to celebrate my birthday. Devon's has great customer service and we love the good here. The mixed grill seafood dish we light and delicious.
The overall experience was good. I ordered a risotto and it was undercooked so they made another one right away but forgot to remove one from the bill and got charged twice for the same course. The server was attentive and took care of it right away. I definitely love the mood in the restaurant and the service they provided. Will definitely go back again.
The food quality is fresh and always well prepared. It's a really great place for a casual get-together as well as a special occasion; and you aren't rushed.
Food was excellent and the server was outstanding!
We are frequent diners at Devon. However, this past experience, we noticed the portions have gotten significantly smaller. We always order the lobster bisque and the portion of the lobster was half then what I usually get. Very disappointed this time around. Will not be returning.
We had a great waitress and it was her birthday as well. Food was wonderful and so was the service. Definitely will be coming back.
Went to Devon the day before Mother's Day to have dinner with my family. Food was excellent and served hot. Our waitress was very attentive, and the other staff were friendly and prompt in filling our water glasses and bringing us biscuits. Have been coming here for years and always enjoy our meals.
I celebrated my birthday at Devon's and had a good time. Always pleasant and genuinely friendly staff.
Food was excellant & our food servers were good but they brought main course out too early had only served our salads 5 min before & nowhere near finished. They kindly took our food back to kitchen & brought back out when we had finished salads. Our waiter was very attentive in the beginning to take order but did not come back to check on us but twice in 1-1/2 hour. He never refilled our wine glasses from our bottle of wine or to refill our water glasses that we had to request from one of the food servers
Ordered halibut and it was perfect. Because I don’t consume dairy, noticed very few items available without dairy.
Our server, Juan Carlos, was excellent. I hope we have him again.
Food & Staff was VERY Good.
Background Music was "unusual" & not consistent with room décor nor dinner mood.
Meet friends for a day of mani/pedis and then lunch....we enjoyed lump crab melts and shrimp Durango - we also had some very nice wine. The weather was perfect and we sat outside - looking forward to doing this again.
Service was a bit slow. But everything else was great
I enjoyed a nice birthday dinner out on the patio. The weather was perfect for it. Next time I will take a quick tour inside the establishment.
Our service was good as usual. My food was superb !!! I had the scallops with lobster risotto. Highly recommend it!
I go to Devon a lot. Last time was Easter, which was delicious. This visit was after seeing Jesus Christ Superstar at the Lyric Opera House. We decided not to eat in the city due to Cinco de Mayo festivities. We made reservations at Devon & made it in time to watch the Kentucky Derby at the bar. We started with wine & a variety of oysters. The oyster choices always vary & they give you a nice description to let you know if they have a sweet finish or are briny. You get to order them for $3 each. During other times of day there are special prices offered on the oysters. We decided to forgo our table & eat at the bar. The bartenders took great care of us! The food was outstanding as usual. I ordered the char grilled tuna with foyat sauce, herb roasted potatoes & asparagus. I just love this dish & keep coming back to it. My date ordered the filet mignon with 2 sides-asparagus & green beans. Also delicious! Dessert menu has changed & was not happy to find out they got rid of the hot chocolate lava cakes. They had a red velvet cake with mousse. The description did not match the item. I don't like cakey cakes. I am not a fan of red velvet. This cake was really good however. That's because the cake was just a base & the rest of it was mousse covered in ganache with whipped cream. I didn't think it needed a berry gelato on the side-that was superfluous. I would order that again. Another great meal! And don't miss out on the hot biscuits with maple syrup butter they serve before the meal-I could make those a meal myself! Look forward to my next visit & hopefully eating outside.
First time here tonight. Husband wanted alaskan king crab for his birthday dinner. The hostess was very nice, wished him a happy birthday. Got seated right away. Waitress came over quickly and got us our drinks. Biscuits were warm and fresh. He loved his king crab legs, my filet was cooked to perfection. Good prices for the quality of food. Waitress was attentive but not overly, just the right amount. Atmosphere was excellent. Hostess even remembered him and wished him a happy birthday again on our way out. Overall a perfect evening. I almost hate to leave a good review, dont want it to become too crowded every time we come back.
