   We started with the Goat Cheese Bruschetta. It was delicious. For the main course I had the crabcakes. They were very good. I selected the twice baked potato as my side, loved it. Julius was our server. He was great, very friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed our meal and will return.

   We waited for 45 mins to be seated with an existing reservation we had. Even though it was Mother's day and it's a busy day, the restaurant should have better planned the timing. Our server was excellent and made the experience better for us

   This was on Mother's Day at dinner time. The food & service once we were sat were great. The kitchen & bar were slower than normal, but not to the point of being a problem. The experience prior to being sat was pretty sad though - people with reservations including ours were waiting 35-55 minutes past the reservation time to be sat.

   The beginning of our Mother’s Day celebration at Devon’s was shaky. I contacted the establishment to ask a question with regards to cancellation and late arrivals. I was made aware by the Host, Sanjay, that if we had a late arrival we could call and they would hold our reservation. As we were in route to the establishment, I attempted to call approximately 5 to 7 times and the phones were capped off. So, there was no way to reach anyone via phone to make them aware that we were in route, but we would be late and we were Calling as instructed. Upon our arrival, there were two young ladies at the front, one head on all black, who indicated that they had given our reservation away because we were late, and there was another young lady who had on a white blouse and black pants. My husband explained the situation and the young lady with the white top and black pants in a very snotty way said we don’t have any tables. Sanjay walked up and asked what was going on. We explain the situation and I made her aware that I did call numerous times and the phones were capped off. She acknowledged that we had spoken to her and they would get us a table. The rest of our Mother’s Day celebration was amazing. The food was awesome. Our waiter Charles was awesome with amazing energy. I can’t say enough about Sanya and her presentation and how she handled the situation. The other two young ladies left a bad taste in our mouth with regards to their professionalism, and how they responded to the customer which was myself and my husband.. Overall, after all of the events our celebration at Devon‘s was five star .

   Devon is a very nice restaurant with a terrific ambience and great atmosphere. The food is excellent but pricy.

   We dined at Devon Steakhouse on Mother’s Day (2:30pm), fully expecting it to be a busy afternoon and my family and I were very understanding of the crowd. However, the service we received left a lot to be desired. Before we were even seated, we overheard a concerning conversation. The waiter assigned to our table told the hostess that he was already serving multiple parties and wouldn’t be able to provide good service if she seated another group at one of his tables. A woman, who appeared to be a manager (wearing a short white dress), responded in a very aggressive tone, saying, “He is a waiter. He cannot tell you what tables he will/will not serve. Put that party at table 12.” Unfortunately, the waiter was right—he was stretched way too thin. As a result, our dining experience suffered. While the food was absolutely delicious and lived up to our expectations, the service did not. It’s understandable to be busy on a holiday like Mother’s Day, but that does not excuse poor treatment. We felt dismissed and overlooked during what was meant to be a special occasion. Many times, we had to ask another server or staff member to relay a message to our waiter (to-go boxes, bags, etc). Many times as he waited on us, it felt rushed and he always quickly walked away. Devon Steakhouse has great food, but our experience was overshadowed by the lackluster service and the lack of support for the staff during a high-volume night.

   I had my favorite meal at one of my favorite restaurants! I hope they never take the seafood mixed grill off the menu. Our server was Johnny S and he was very attentive despite being busy.

    One of my favorite restaurants. Our waiter, Ishmael, was very nice. Quick and friendly as well as efficient. He is always provides superior service. Don't forget the food- consistently great...value and taste!
