We had a nice dinner the food was excellent and the service was good too. Overall the value was very high and we will be going back maybe on our next anniversary.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
Everything about the evening was excellent! The menu had choices for everyone’s palette and I loved the variation the chef tried beyond the “typical” way to prepare the food. The presentation of each dish was beautiful. The staff was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed.
The kanas city strip steak medium rare was like candy. The Caesar salad was good. The cheesecake and cream brulee are a must. My suit was too tight by the end of dinner
The food was outstanding and the service was excellent! Thanks for the free dessert to celebrate my wife’s birthday! Nice touch! Thank you.
Devon Seafood has always been a pleasant experience. I have nothing negative to say about the restaurant
Very nice and accommodating service! Good food. It was s very good meal
Our waiter was awesome and the food was outstanding as usual. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and there was a nice note in the table and a free dessert. We had a great time.
Food was good but they need more light in the restaurant. I had a hard time reading the menu because it was so dark.
Outstanding dinner with very attentive service from Trevor. A very enjoyable evening for us and we can't wait to come back soon!!!
I took my family for brunch. the food was delicious, however the potatoes were burnt and the pasta was under cooked and dried out.
Waiter was attentive to every detail to make our experience positively .
Devons is always consistent as far as quality of food and wait service. Everyone is friendly and the choice of salads/entrees, etc. has proven to be more than adequate every time I visit.
Devons is definitely one of the nicer restaurants available at BayShore Mall.
Came in to use my dining dollars from the holidays. Ordered the mixed seafood grill which was delicious. The server I had was very attentive. Everything was great and I look forward to my next visit.
Lovely fresh food with friendly and efficient service as always
Really good food. We go to Devon's often and are always very pleased; however, this last visit service was very mediocre at best. Server was very slow and did not check back regarding the food. Actually another server cleared our plates and got us beverage refills
My lobster Cobb salad was delicious. Their biscuits are soooo good too! But they turned the lights down so low, just before I was finished, that I could barely make out what was left in my salad. More light, please!
We love Devons. The food, service and atmosphere is always top notch. Everything we have ever ordered is wonderful. The wait staff goes above and beyond to make everything petfect.
We were lucky to be given a private table in a room off to the side for a get together with old friends. It was perfect, quiet, food was great and the wine list extensive!
We closed the place down and servers politely waited for us to wrap up. We are fans!
The service was quite slow. Our waitress was slow to get to the table to begin with. She would walk past and not even make eye contact. We had to remind her about 1 drink ordered that she forgot about, and we had to remind her about a refill on wine that was ordered when we were still eating dinner, and didn't receive until right before dessert came. Dessert... the Creme Brulee, eh.. I have had way better and I found an onion chunk in mine!
Our server (Trevor) was absolutely amazing. The restaurant seemed to be over booked because it was about a 15 minute wait to be seated with our reservation and about an hour before we received our entrees. Trevor was very apologetic regarding the wait time and compensated my party on the drinks and dessert. The food was great and I will certainly be back.
Dinned at this place twice in a one week. Appetizers were better than the main course. Spent to much money on the main course for Valentines day.. The Lobster tail was chewy and not seasoned, salmon was dry and we where sat next to a wine cooler.. Manager and staff kept interrupting the dinner and apologized but never offered a free drink, to what we already drinking and ordered due to their interruptions. Dinned there again on that weekend, order appetizers. Cheaper bill, Firecracker shrimp was excellent and Lobster rolls were spot on.
It was horrible....it was my birthday and wedding anniversary....the food was horrible..,.the people that was sitting next to us which they came 15 to 20 minutes after us .....received everything before us.....very unacceptable
The food was delicious, fresh and well presented as usual. Our server, Sarah was attentive and unobtrusive, very pleasant and professional. Devons is a great place for almost any occasion as you can always count on a quality experience. Enjoyable and good value.
Food was great as always. Had a 6:45 reservation and didn’t get seated until almost 7:10.
Wife and I have been here several times over the last several years. We come for special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, etc. We both had the filet mignon this visit - we've had it before but they totally outdid themselves this time. It was the best we've ever had. We also had the sorbet dessert with a new blueberry flavor that was delicious, fruity and not overly sweet. Have never been disappointed here. Great food, great background music, great service.
Our server JR was great.
Although he was very busy, he was polite and attentive.
He even put a birthday candle in my creme brulee.
Devon's is not a place to eat if you are on a budget, but if you are will to spend more than normal then this is the place. I was passing though on a business trip, and the food was amazing. Steaks cooked perfectly, and delicious creme brulee after the meal.
When seated waited 20 minutes for a server till I went to the reception desk and asked for a server. When finally served my two lobster tails were over cooked. No check in for more drinks or how the food was.
This used to be our favorite place to eat but the last few visits were less than goid. Also people around us also sent their food back but our waitress didn’t give us the opportunity.
It was perfect in every way. I do a lot of reviews on yelp and you will find if you follow me that I do not give 5 stars out very quickly. The food was cooked to perfection, very delicious Both my husbands plate and my own. Noise level was pleasant din of others, even though we were seated close to kitchen. Wine was perfect pairing to my dish....I know wine! And happily the service was attentive and helpful. We will become regulars 👍
We had not been to Devon for brunch for over a year and I can report the service had improved since then. The seafood station has expanded it was great and memorable. I liked the new salad offerings of Greek pasta salad and spring greens. I missed the roast beef station that previously served tenderloin. The roast sirloin was fine but not particularly memorable. As always the Belgian waffles were my spouses preference. The breakfast foods were very good but we missed the sweet potato hash. I enjoyed the cioppino but missed the chicken piccata, and the tilapia with beurre black sauce. Do not get the wrong impression the food was very good and we will return for brunch. The changes were not bad just different and for us unexpected.
The waitstaff is so thoughtful, anticipating your every wish. The manager is very astute by acknowledging our birthday and not only that, but offered a platter of calamari as well!!! The food is delicious and I love the pre fixed menu which includes 3 courses.
Ran out of the potato crusted walleye dish. All other foods were pre-seasoned and if you have allergies or dietary challenge with spicy food - don't try other items on the menu.
I was very disappointed in the behavior of the Asian host. We walked in without a reservation since online showed immediate seating. She told us the wait would be 30 minutes and to go to the bar (we could clearly see open tables) So I promptly made a reservation for 7:00pm. Ten minutes after 7 we’re still sitting and another couple came in and said they had a reservation at 7pm and they were seated before us. Although we were there first and did make a reservation too. She rolled her eyes and laughed then said “sorry about that” and walked us to our table after i stated we were here before them and we should’ve been sat before them.
Needless to say we will not be back. The restaurant honestly reminded us of a basic hotel restaurant. The “warm welcome” was not present until we sat at our table. Our server Sawyer was funny, personable and quick. We loved his service but we were already offset by the host.
We drive a great distance to go to Devon - for the seafood as well as for the healthy, tasty sides and a very nice way of purveying wine at multiple price points and different size portions. Oh, and the manager is in constant motion, walking around, checking on everyone as if she were an owner. But first and foremost we go for great seafood selection in a very nice atmosphere.
The food was outstanding as always - very fresh, attractively presented and beautifully cooked. Although the restaurant was very busy, the service was well paced and attentive. Our server, Eakin, was great. very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
The restaurant was just wonderful! Food and service was outstanding! We had our own room and enjoyed it so much. It was just a delight!
Would recommend for seafood, not streaks, also grilled vegetables tasted too much like the grill. Excellent waitstaff. Great martini's. Nice outdoor seating weather permitting.
Our wait person was wonderful. Very accommodating with great understanding of your menu to help with suggestions as 2 of 3 people were on the whole 30 diet which was very restrictive. Loved the complimentary Creme Brûlée for my birthday. As a side note I always love coming to sit at bar with friends for happy hour; great hors d'oerves and wine.
