Restaurant was closed without warning.
It is too bad they closed. Reason given was that their rent was increased, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was more to the story. Mall itself is declining as a shopping destination in lieu of living spaces. Ate there many times over the years and never had a bad piece of fish. Pricey, but frequently offered coupons and good choices for Happy Hour, which helped make it more affordable. Very sorry to see it go. Would love to see them open up elsewhere in the area.
Great experience. Too bad it was their last night open.
So sorry it is closing.
Very nice food, and fantastic service. Sawyer, our waiter, was very friendly and helpful.
The food was very good, as usual. There were four of us dining and the configuration of the table had one on each end and two on the same side in the middle. Because of this and the noise level Saturday night, it was difficult to hear each other in conversation. The service was unusually slow and our waiter came to the table multiple times apologizing for the wait and promised our food would soon be delivered to the table. It was not our best experience at one of our favorite restaurants.
Great!!!great, great news .
Great food and service!
Very first time here and I can’t wait to go back. I’m Looking forward to trying the Sunday Brunch in the near future. Only take away is the parking, but it feel it was well worth the walk!
I always enjoy myself at Devon’s and leave completely satisfied. Food selection is always pleasing and drinks are great!
Our favorite restaurant. Whitefish is excellent. Service excellent.
The food was great. Service was a bit slow.
We love dining at Devon! With a variety of delicious seafood items on the menu and consistently excellent service, ths restaurant never disappoints. We have enjoyed many visits there, and we look forward to many more to come.
The food was very good tonight. Best in several visits. The service was excellent and the pace unrushed. Devon will return to our list.
The plank salmon was delicious. And the red beets with a balsamic reduction and goat cheese with asparagus with a nice smokey flavor was over the top. I followed that up with some creme brulee which could have fed three people, but since I was alone I obliged and ate it all. Lastly I want to say that my waitress was absolutely attentive and pleasant. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
Exceptional food and service. Had the lobster bisque that was served with lobster pieces on the bottom of the bowl before the bisque is poured in. Yum it was so good. The seafood mix is filling and well worth it. Then creme brulee. Expensive but splurge you will not regret it.
Yes loved it
Several times they ran out of biscuits and we had to wait 15 minutes. The food was adequate, but no pepper was offered for the salad and no candle was brought out in the dessert to celebrate the birthday. Overall, it was fine, but they missed some of the nicer touches that are easy to do and that used to be done.
Overall very good. A few glitches though. Our waitress had a table that was incedibly indecisive and had no awareness of the stress they were putting on her, She did the best she could. My swordfish was just a touch over cooked - probably because of how thin the cut was - but was still very good. The seafood platter was outstanding. A bit pricy but a very good meal
I love Devon's steak and seafood restaurant. Every time I go I enjoy myself the service is always awesome. I have made it a tradition to go there every year for my birthday.
The Sunday brunch was amazing and delicious as usual. Our waiter provided top notch service and I was very impressed with how attentive he was. Overall a fantastic experience and I highly recommend Devon Seafood + Steak!
My wife liked her dish but I had the Cioppino and had a very fishy taste. Almost to the point of spoiled. Did not finish it. Might have been a one off but for the price I expect better. That is why i would not recommend to a friend.
The food was good, but portion size was small. Service was very slow and was difficult to get our waiters attention when we needed napkins while eating lobster. I was served roasted instead of mashed potatoes, but waited till we got our bill to make waiter aware of error which he refunded. Having to sit in the bar area was very noisy, we couldn’t enjoy our conversation. At the end of our meal the waiter was very slow in bringing our check, we felt neglected and found the service to be poor. Not planning to go back.
We came for our Anniversary dinner and asked for a quiet table. Now I know it can't be controlled but we were put at a table in the middle of everyone. Not what we were looking for. Other than that the food was fantastic and our waitress was lovely.
The food was average at best. I liked the steak and the crab cake. The lobster mac and cheese was dry with no sauce and the risotto was just ok. There was a hair on my bread and when I pointed it out to the server she just said, "ok." I had to ask for a replacement biscuit.
Our ‘special’ was wonderful. This was the second time we have been there and because of the special offered we haven’t used our 1st time coupon. Hopefully we will be able to use it before it expires. 😆
Devon’s gave our party of 6 a private room, making our gathering feel special!
I'm not sure what happened to Devon's Seafood. Maybe it's under new ownership? This used to be our favorite Seafood and Steak restaurant. The food quality was terrible. The service was terrible. We spent over $200 and were very disappointed in the visit. Do not plan to return any time soon.
We had the Sunday brunch. We were disappointed that there were not more selections/variations of seafood.
Coffee was very good. Would like to see more garnish in the greens salad. There was just a few token grape tomatoes. Adding red onion, feta cheese, etc. would have been nicer instead of just greens.
Pasta dishes not that good and hardly anything but noodles.
Great food and Excellent Service as always!
The service is always friendly and professional. We have not ever been disappointed in the quality and quantity of food. It is a seafood place for us. We like the surroundings and the "elegant" yet casual feel.
I’d never eaten here before. I’ve recently relocated back to Wisconsin and was having a late dinner with my out today town guest. He loves steak and seafood. It was a lovely night for a late dinner. The restaurant is very nice, service was great. The food was amazing, the lobster bisque was phenomenal. My sweetie loved it and I really enjoyed the food and drinks. We shared Cream Brûlée for dessert also very tasty. Will definitely eat here again.
Devon's never disappoints...the food is delicious and the presentation fabulous...usually able to use a coupon which makes it a great value as well.
My husband and I eat at Devon's regularly and love it. We appreciate the coupons!! And the birthday
We have been here several times. Every time the service and food have been exceptional. Thank you for another great dining experience!
You'll were out of lobster an hour before the promotion ended. You guys had nothing on patio to keep flys away.
Ran out of featured lobster 1 1/2 hours early
Took 75 minutes to get our dinner salads
Restaurant was far from busy
Everything was great
We have gone often to Devons for brunch only because there are not a lot of clean/nice places nearby. Now to the food.... they really offer very little. We were there at 10:30 am (it opens at 10) and there were only a few 1.5-inch pieces of salmon and 1/4 container of scrambled eggs left. A few TINY bites of cheese and crackers. At $35 per person, Milwaukee wants a lot of food. As for the desserts seriously, 1 tablespoon of pudding inside a baby cup with a baby spoon. Ridiculous.
They made my birthday so enjoyable . The food was great and they also gave me a birthday desert .
