Devon Seafood + Steak - Hershey Ratings and Reviews
The menu was not creative and the quality of the ingredients could be better too. There did not seem to be very much care put into the cooking of the food. Brussel sprouts were under-cooked and bitter, the lobster mac tasted like it was made with american cheese and velveeta. The mashed potatoes were the best thing I ordered but those are hard to mess up. This restaurant seems to be very corporate-minded. I would not recommend someone I know to enjoy a special evening here because it isn't very special.
Excellent Food and Service, Did not feel rushed at all, A little pricey for the amount of food but the quality of the food makes its worth it. Only complaint is the dinning area has low lighting and on a gloomy day made it was difficult to read the menu. Then the lights went down even lower and I could barely see everyone at the table.
We had a wonderful time, the food and service were great. I would lean more towards the seafood side if you going to attend the filet was great but the scallops were absolutely perfect they could not have done anything else to make them better. Their unique sides also helped make the dish. The price was a little high, but I would defiantly eat there again.
The wait staff was very knowledgeable regarding food recommendations and how it was prepared. The food was perfect! I couldn't make up my mind and ordered a plate with a crab cake, shrimp, scallop, salmon, and the best mashed potatoes ever.
It was perfect for my husband's birthday. They even put a candle in the cake slice we ordered.
Thanks for a great evening!
Keep in mind your in the middle of Hershey PA home of Hershey Park. With that being said lots of families with lots of kids, we were seated next to a table with 6 younger kids. Kids were very well behaved but the noise was off the charts just cause of the number of kids. We started out being seated in and amongst about 12 little ones all having a great time. We’ll look for a place not so much like a Red Robin next time. There is a Red Robin pretty close you’d save a lot of money eating there.
Disappointing dinner. The waiter spilled the tray of drinks on our table and me. She did say she was sorry, however she barley cleaned anything up and I was left with a wet leg and ruined shoe for the night. We had to finely ask someone to come clean up all the ice on the floor and more napkins so I could try to dry my pants and shoe. No manager ever stopped over to check on us or apologize for the spill nor did they even offer to take anything off the bill or offer a complimentary dessert. We were disappointed with our experience.
We were seated promptly for our 5PM reservation. This was not our first time here because we really enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Our server Jonathon was friendly, courteous, and on the ball without being intrusive. We passed on the apps and salads. My wife ordered the swordfish with oven roasted potatoes and string beans. I ordered the tuna (rare) with a side of wasabi, oven roasted potatoes, and broccolini. Both of our meals were prepared perfectly. We finished up with a shared piece of pumpkin cheesecake and coffees. We highly recommend dining here.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice for professional meetings and personal events. The food is outstanding and the menu is very large providing many options to everyone. The service unfortunately was VERY slow. I would love to say that it was because they were so busy but that certainly was not the case. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
We made reservations before a show at the Hershey Theatre. The restaurant is well designed. Subdued lighting, comfortable seating, a nice bar and an upscale feel. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The seared halibut was crispy and moist and the mushroom risotto rich and earthy.
