Great food and amazing beer selection! Great location for sports.
Food was great. Happy hour prices are great. The beer list is one of the reasons we like the place. Good atmosphere and service.
Devil's Den has better than average bar food, making mention of the best variety of muscles around. Love it.
Way too loud for us. Couldn't hear each other to talk. Guess we're too old for that kind of bar scene.
Food and service were good.
Brunch was really good. Service was amazing. Highly recommend their cheddar jalapeno biscuits.
Went here for the first time over the weekend for my boyfriend's birthday and we had the perfect night. From the great service, to the warm fireplace and delicious food. We ordered the burger on the menu and started with the nachos as an appetizer. At the end of our meal, our server brought out a brownie with a candle in it. We had such a great night. We will be back!
We had a double date for Valentines Day. The first table they say us was a little drafty. They were very accommodating, and relocated us to the fireplace table. The food is always outstanding, and we love to visit and have the amazing Short Rib Cheesesteak. Always great service! This is one of my go to restaurants with clients for great beer and awesome food!
Food was outstanding, server was attentive, and ambiance was great. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Went with a group of friends for the Superbowl and our service was on point, draft list extensive, clean facilities, and good food. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend.
Normally my soon to be husband and myself hate to go out on Super Bowl Sunday. But this time we were happy we did. The bar was not horribly crowded. We made reservations for dinner an hour before the game. Our waitress was so nice and helpful we were able to complete our meal with our coffee seated at the bar so we could watch the game. The drinks were reasonably priced and the bartender was also courteous and knowledgeable. It was just perfect! What a great evening! Thank you for the best Super Bowl Sunday experience.
Cold, close together and loud
Enjoyed a delicious meal fit for a Belgian king.
Fireside seating is romantic and homey.
Mussels were tremendous. Great neighborhood spot. Hit it en route to flyers game. Beer selection is solid. Will definitely return.
Great beer bar.
Great neighborhood place always good food, good beer list.
Awesome selection of craft beers. Awesome offers with staple comfort foods but with a slight twist. Food service was really fast. Atmosphere was very comfortable and casual.
Devil's Den is a great spot to enjoy craft beer and delicious food. It is not a particularly large venue, so it does get a little noisy, but you kind of don't notice after a few beers ;)
They have a diverse specials menu for dinner. I enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli, which was great. My boyfriend had the falafel sandwich and we started with a cheese plate. Our friend had beef stroganoff. The food was delicious and the variety is great! You really can't go wrong.
The beer selection is of course wonderful. The only beer that we wanted which was out was the Abbey Double from Flying Fish, but we can understand why the keg kicked... it's a great beer! There were plenty of other options as well.
Devil's Den is our go-to restaurant when we want a comfortable, welcoming neighborhood dinner. Love this place, especially the charred romaine salad
Great brunch service!! Excellent bacon, bloody Mary. The burger portion was a nice size, but the pork belly and poached egg dish seemed small. I was still hungry, craving more pork belly.
Great bar in south Philly. Not quite a gastro pub but had an interesting menu. Also had a nice beer selection on tap and in bottles/ cans. I really enjoyed the cheese fries (fresh cut) and the carnitas tacos. The waiter, Patrick, was awesome; he was knowledgable about the menu and always there to fill a glass (both water and beer). I will be returning the next time I am in town.
Staff was fantastic from the host to the sever the manager even talked to the table she was amazing . It was a great time
Was there for the kick off of beer week , had dinner everything was good but it took us a while to get our drinks .
From the time we walked in everything was great . The host he was very polite and helpful and was happy to give us an out side table. Our server Jill was great kept our waters full as it was a pretty humid evening. The food was great we ordered nachos, duck buns, mussels, hummus & a cheese plate my friends are still raving about the duck buns all the food was perfect and came out in a Timely manner . The beer list was a nice size I ordered Moscow mules which were made perfect . couldn't have asked for a better evening out with friends . Will be returning for sure!
This corner spot has great flow from the bar to the dinning area. Ceiling to floor windows bring in the light and connect with the outdoor tables. We don't have a pet, but they provided water bowls for dogs of the outside customers. We ate brunch and the main menu and specials were all delicious. We had a big party and sampled most of the items. All were satisfied. We highly recommend Devils Den for brunch, lunch, or just to have a few drinks at the bar.
Excellent burgers !
Nice beer selection and very good brunch menu. Duck fries are completely decedent.
What a gem! I can't wait to go back. Definitely try the coconut curry, lemongrass, ginger mussels. That was one of the best dishes I've ever had. Loved the smell of the wood fireplace in the middle too.
Best cheese fries!
In my reservation request, I asked for any seat that wasn't right next to the kitchen. I asked for this because its my first anniversary, and im 21, so im usually sat there. Guess where I was sat. Food was okay, smallish portions. Nothing exciting or unique about from where I sat, uses the same bus bins as most
Excellent GastroPub food. Very fresh ingredients. Good value. Awesome beer offerings.
Went here for a casual date and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was lively enough to make it fun, but not so loud that my date and I could not converse. The food was delicious. We did a bunch of apps and were pleased with everything. Also, the beer list is fairly substantial and the waitstaff was super helpful with their recommendations. Even though it is removed from center city, I would definitely go back.
If your priority is variety of interesting draft beer, this is a great place. Convenient place to try a variety of beers and get a bite to eat before the game. Not the healthiest menu, but the customers are generally young enough not to care. I would like to return but will be more careful when ordering. The food is plentiful, small plates are larger than expected, and for some that is a turn-off. If you can put up with large portions and great beer, you will love this place.
Solid neighborhood gastro-pub. Very cool inside, great bar space. Dining quarters a little tight. Great selection of beer on tap. Brunch menu was small, but solid.
Great burgers and delicious cheese platter at this classic neighborhood joint in south Philly. Terrific pre-theater find - we were headed to Theatre Exile a few blocks away.
Nice location in South Philly with a good draft list and creative and delicious offerings.
Went for brunch this Sunday. My boyfriend and I both got the biscuit and sausage gravy. It was amazing. Also the bacon was the best I've ever had.
Great Sunday brunch spot in Philly! It was a bit noisy bc we sat near the bar on a game day. The mimosas made up for it. Great eggs too!
Searched for a place to go after game at Link. Found this on OpenTable. Friendly, easy to find and good food. We had mussels, oysters, pork belly and seared scallops. Everything was great. Unbelievable beer selection
I was disappointed in everything about this place...the food, the wait (no one wanted to take our order) and of course the food was just okay. I believe the place is good for all kinds of beer, but drink don't eat.
